A piece of plastic i found in my buffalo chicken !!!!
    L L.

I really don't like to write bad reviews especially during this covid 19 pandemic when the restaurant and bars owners are doing bad in revenue due to covid 19 , And business economy wise and there New York state curfew for restaurant and bars to be closed at 10:00 p.m. on the dot passed by governor cuomo, but this place need to step up there game . I found a piece of plastic in my food , smh thank god I didn't swallow it I probably would have choked on it .My friend bought me food from this place , next time my friend takes me here .I'll say " no , thank you " I wouldn't recommended this place (I'll go to the wing stop across the street, instead or there checkers burgers and Popeyes around the corner) very convenient by the mta transportation: subway: J,M,Z-Train. Myrtle avenue Bus: B46,B47

    Paella with chicken noodle soup
    Diana Z.

I have ate about 50 Paella my entire life and this one was far the worst most horrible food I ate my entire life. The chicken noodle soup was inevitably nasty disgusting to the point that I took one spoon bite and this horrible after taste stood drenching in my mouth. The paella ingredients was old nothing tasted ok... even the avocado was black!!!!!! This was so bad I will recommend for u guys to close down before you kill someone my stomach is in flames as I'm writing this message!!!!!!!

Ordered my mom chicken noddle soup . It was disgusting. The chicken wasn't fully cooked ,the broth smelled spoiled after taste was horrid. Would not recommend this place unless you want to end up with food poisoning.

The ceviche was probably the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was blood orange based, but the citrus was really well balanced. The king oyster mushroom dish was soo delicious. The sauce and the texture of the mushrooms were to die for. I've salivating thinking about them right now! The fish was also so amazing. The bottoms were so crispy, it was almost like it was a layer of potato chip! Really great texture, and the fish meat was cooked to perfection. Really sad that they're closing, but looking forward to whatever the chef/restaurant team does next!

It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!

The mix of a thousand island type sauce with ketchup made this burger a 10/10. The sesame bun gives the burger a great softness with all the other textures. + the fries gave me the feeling of an elevated mcdonald's fry! caesar salad was perfect. Lots of lettuce, not overly anchovy and just the croutons were soft and crisp at the same time? very much enjoyed how big of a portions all of these items were. chicken parm sauce was tangy and had good flavoring with the perfect melted cheese on top of the soft but crisp edges of the chicken. i'd highly recc all three items we got! service was quick once we got seated and was nice to be outside in the warm weather.

We ordered the Japanese breakfast set, the slow-cooked pork sando, and the single-stack apple tart pancake. Overall, everything was tasty and well prepared. The Japanese breakfast had some standout elements, especially the generous portion of fish, the flavorful pickled vegetables, and the perfectly cooked rice. That said, we were hoping for a bit more variety to round out the set. The slow-cooked pork sando was enjoyable, although the fries were probably our least favorite part of the meal. They tasted like frozen fries, which felt a little out of place compared to the quality of everything else. We also really enjoyed the apple tart pancake--it was a delicious way to end brunch. Overall, we had a great experience and are looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

Sabino was working the register and was incredibly friendly. Although I wanted to eat my sfogliatella later, he gave it to me first. It my first time ever having one and it was freaking delicious. It was warm and flaky with the perfect amount of pistachio filling. I def savored each bite and contemplated getting another one but ultimately decided not to. My salad came out shortly after and was better than I expected. The croutons were ginormous but also seasoned and worth each bite. The salad was tangy and had plenty of shredded Parmesan, which I loved! I got a chance to talk with Sabino a bit before he left. Because he had difficulty on the register, he gave me some later cookies which I thought was an incredibly nice gesture. I more than enjoyed my visit and already can't wait to come back! Things to note: it's pretty small inside so plan on either standing or getting it to go as there's only 3-4 stools to sit on.

Between the three of us, we ordered the borscht soup, Polish appetizer sampler, pork schnitzel, duck pierogies, and lastly a cheesecake to finish the night. Borscht soup (with mushroom dumplings) was nice and hot, great to settle my stomach that was feeling a bit off earlier in the day. Polish appetizer sampler is lovely to try a bit of everything. I really enjoyed the cabbage wrap. Duck pierogies was a first for me. Good portion sized, savory and not light on the meat. Pork schnitzel was nicely breaded, crispy and thin. The roasted potatoes on the side was so well-seasoned, no additional add-ons necessary. Cheesecake was decent, and the server delighted us with three little candles on top to celebrate.
