They spill all over the place every time and because of that, I always burn my hand. They don't have sleeves either because I think the cups are too small. The customer service could be better as it always seems like to-go orders are an inconvenience over dining in customers. Either way, the location is convenient if you need a coffee shop in Greenpoint if the neighboring shops are full. They do have a full menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner service. The prices match the location and the food looks good as there are always locals dining outside with their families and dogs. The space is spacious as well. At this particular time during this pandemic, I'm attempting to circle back to my favorite restaurant I enjoyed pre-pandemic to see who is open and offering outdoor dining. To my delight, Kaskade is now offering outdoor dining and plus their backyard patio is now open. My latest visit to Kaskade was a bit of a reunion of sorts. I enjoyed a marvelous brunch with my dear friends. Although the brunch menu is limited, it had a decent variety of option to choose from. We all enjoyed the burger, which was cooked to perfection. I must say, the chef is excellent. I've never had a bad meal. Period. The chefs attention to details and presentation is superb. The staff can't be left out here because the service is outstanding as well. I can't wait to return for dinner in the coming days. The croquetas stuffed with black truffle were rich and bursting with flavor. The hamachi crudo was sweet and smoky with blood orange and Calabrian chilies. The wagyu burger was tender and smoky topped with a sunny-side up egg and chipotle aioli. The massive brown butter French toast topped with toffee, roasted bananas, and strawberries à la mode was perfection. The service was impeccable. The ambience was light and airy with well spaced out tables to give you privacy.

Both were fantastic, especially the black truffle manchego croquetas. Believe in the hype- they're absolutely fantastic! Now, there is always room for dessert, & of course I got the soufflé. I don't know if the flavors for the soufflé rotate but I got a 70% dark chocolate soufflé with a fantastic ganache to match it.
