I went to Mi-T-Fine in Irving and asked if they could just clean the inside of my car -- vacuum it, wipe the dash, clean the windows, and do the interior only. I specifically told them I did not want the outside washed or touched because I do not like the brushes and I try to avoid anything that can damage the clear coat or leave swirl marks. I have had this car since October, and in that entire time I have only ever put a brush to it once. I have been careful with the paint for that exact reason. The guy told me, "I got you, we know what to do," so I thought we were good. They started on the inside, and while one of the ladies was working on the windows/interior, she moved to the outside of the car and started toweling the hood. I went over and told her they did not wash the outside, so she did not need to wipe it. She said okay. About a minute later, she started doing it again. I politely told her again that the outside had not been washed and that she was basically rubbing dry dirt into my clear coat. I thought she understood, but then she went over to the driver-side door and started wiping that too, lengthwise. At that point I had to tell her to stop and get away from my car. The whole reason I asked for interior only was to avoid exactly that. On top of that, the inside still did not look good when they were done. Very frustrating experience. This Mighty Fine is on North Beltline in Irving. Training young people on the front lines, that they are in a "service" industry, is a much needed and lacking skill. Please don't tell us what you can't do, but tell us what you can do. I highly tipped the ones who vacuumed and wiped the car down. They could give lessons to the managers. Been here twice now. So far outside only. We used to go to the car wash by Home Depot off Irving Blvd but it suddenly closed. IF you go inside to cashier, you can buy a book of 5 Car Wash Coupons for $40 so only $8/wash (exterior only). Also think maybe 1st hour of everyday they offer 20% off ALL washes but not totally sure. Equipment seems to not scratch/mar the finish. My white Fusion came out fine (but it almost always does anywhere I take it). However wife's blue Outback was not as clean and she made comments. That said her car had quite a bit of sap on it so she may need to run it thru a 2nd time. Not sure if this wash will let you do that or not. I waited over 10 minutes for the lady just looking at my car to put tire dressing on my tires. She never came over. She just looked at me and turned her head with a rude attitude! Open early! Which was a plus as I was waiting on getting some bloodwork done at Walgreens that morning. Contents of my center console were strewn about my car once I got in and realized random items from my console in my backseat so highly recommend not having anything of value in your car when you hand it over to the attendants. I'm so surprised this place does not have a better overall rating because they always do a wonderful job! I get the managers special and my car looks brand new - the wheel wells get cleaned, the interior is vacuumed and wiped, the exterior is washed waxed and dried (and hand dried). Meanwhile all I have to do is wait inside and drink complimentary coffee. I also get a free car scent - it's one of those scented papers that you stick under your front seat. Came to this car wash for the first time on a Tuesday morning with high hopes based on the few good reviews in the mix. It's close to home and I wanted it to work out, so I gave them a try...and I'm glad to report it went great! I had a gift certificate for a $14.99 wash (thanks to my Paw). I was really impressed by the cleanliness of my tires and rims. That is typically the area that I've noticed tends to get less love at other washes, so it was really nice to see that wasn't the case here. I love how you can watch your car go through the wash as well. The bathrooms are clean and the waiting area is nice and has snack/drink vending machines for ya if needed. I saw a variety of different low and high end vehicles go through, which says a lot for me. No matter the car, they got you. I'm definitely coming back and hoping the quality doesn't decline. Got their top full service wash and added the wax. They didn't even try to vacuum my trunk, which I emptied to make it simpler for them. They didn't vacuum the interior properly, or wipe down my dashboard. To top it off they left the whole back end of my car wet. So to reiterate, I paid for their top service and it was below mediocre. Had to finish drying, vacuuming, and wiping down my car, which I did in front of them and no one even pretended to care. read more

I sat in the drive up line for over 10 minutes because the staff wouldn't finish vacuuming the first car in the line before moving to a car in the next line over. I saw people on their phones and there was a bunch of opening an closing of car doors - but they didn't go in with the vacuums. It was only once they saw me angrily talking on the phone and gesturing toward them that they realized I was upset and hurried up. I used to come to this location all the time and in the past they were always very quick. There was also a lot of trash and personal belongings strewn around outside on the premises. Unacceptable. This place has gone down hill in customer service. Everyone's attitude is terrible. I asked the first guy if they could do a detailed clean inside the car, he told me no cause they are low on staff. Then the lady inside was so adamant about telling me about how they wash the car outside. I had to tell her several times lady I'm talking about inside the car. She told me they do detail but only with appointments. Pure confusion. I do not recommend this place. Poor customer service. read more

Pros: -Good service -Good prices -Opens early -Hand dry service Cons: -Gets really busy on weekends I usually get the manager special for about $17 (during the early bird special) that includes outside wash, inside vacuum, tire cleaning and a scent. I'm only giving 2 stars because the prices are good. This used to be my go-to spot to get my truck detailed. I had been going there since at least 2007. The service went downhill, so I found a better place in Valley Ranch. I was in the area yesterday and decided to give them another chance. While the customer service at check in and at the register were good and have improved, I was very dissatisfied with the work as well as the customer service of the staff who returned my vehicle to me. The first thing is, they took my antenna off, which is fine, but they didn't put it back on. When I got home, I noticed it was in the passenger seat. They put black tape around my rear windshield wiper, which is fine. But they didn't remove it when they were done. I had to remove it when I got home. The cup holders in my back seat had not been cleaned and were still filthy. My tires were not cleaned and were also filthy. There was a large dirt spot still on the door as well. When it was time to get my vehicle back, I handed the guy a tip and he didn't say thank you or have a nice day or anything. I will stick to the car wash in Valley Ranch, although they are a bit more pricey. I get my truck detailed regularly, so I was a regular customer that they have officially lost. Even if the customer service is bad, I expect my truck to be clean, which is why I came in the first place. read more

Needed a car wash. This was the closest thing on the way home from work. I went to the full-service line. Rolled my window down and told them which car wash I wanted. Went with the $18.99 package. The guy tried to upsell me on Rain-X and also for another $5, I can get my dashboard waxed. No thanks. I'll just buy my own Armor All wipes for a couple bucks and do that part myself. Parked my car in the vacuum line. Took my receipt in and paid and got an air freshener scent of my choice. And watched my car go through the wash. I then went outside. I drive a manual transmission. The young lad obviously did not know how to drive a manual transmission car. Right in front of me, he stalled like 5 times to go a distance of maybe 15 feet. I just looked in disbelief. Stalling a car that many times in a row is actually bad for your transmission. Please have qualified employees who are proficient with driving both types of transmissions, automatic and manual. The young lad then started laughing and giggling with his other co-worker who wiped and dried my car. Not only that, I came home and there were a bunch of soap bubbles still on my windshield. The way they wiped down my windshield, I can see the inconsistent motion they used and creates a glare when I drive. The best part? How did I end up with small leaves in my backseat? I found maybe 5-6 leaves back there. Nobody sits in my backseat because I have 2+2 seating. But how did I end up with a backseat that has leaves?! Definitely from the car wash people. read more

I'm new to the area...to the state...and I've been looking for a full service car wash. A place where I hand them the keys, they wash/clean the interior & exterior and vacuum the car. Didn't realize that would be such a hard thing to find. Most are either self serve or doing the interior is extra. WOW! My old car wash had me spoiled! (They did all that plus vacuumed the trunk for one low price!) I noticed my neighbor had a membership sticker from here, so I decided to try them out. The Yelp reviews were not helpful because they weren't recent. Yes, it is extra to do inside and out. Fine. I paid it. Watched my car go through the wash, I paid and went to the waiting room, which was actually pretty nice. I went outside to wait for my car to be finished. (A total of 3 cars including mine. 1 in front of me and 1 behind) My car door was open but I didn't think too much about it because my car will lock automatically. After about 5 min, a person informed me that my cat was ready. No one raised their hand or came to look for me. I will go back to this location and see if things are different. Paid almost 60 dollars, tipped 20 (clearly too soon) and there were still dead bugs on the windshield and the interior was barely wiped down. Backseat wasn't even vacuumed. I used the car wash on Belt Line just like I always have for about 8 years now. I used it Sunday, and the car wash damaged my gas tank. Sometimes it works properly, and sometimes it doesn't. I also have scratches on my gas tank door. The mgr there Roland, told me it was a manufacturer's defect...Uh no sir, this has only occurred as of today. Second time doing biz here. Both times getting the $20+ service. First time was ok. Service was fast but the wash result was just ok. Came again after 2 weeks this time in the afternoon on a weekend. It was busy. Not happy with results. Had the guy wipe off a lot of dirt and water still left on the truck after the wash and initial wipe down. Gave him a tip and left. WORST SERVICE EVER....LOOK OUT FOR THE TRICK. I asked for an interior clean and dressing. They only wiped and dressed the dashboard they wouldn't wipe the door handles, arm rest or any other part of the interior. I guess you have to be an expert of what a car interior means, to this car wash the interior is only the dashboard? When i asked the attendant about it he stated the manager told him he is only supposed to wipe the dashboard only and no other surfaces and they charge an extra $6.00. When I asked about why the interior wasnt wiped they tried to sell me another package for $50+ dollars just to get the other parts of my interior wiped. Received a coupon in the mail for 50% full service wash. Get there at 9.56 and was told that I had to wait 4 minutes because the coupon is valid from 10am (Really?). I get asked if I want my dash waxed. They mention is no additional cost so I say yes, just to discover at the register that is 5 dollars extra. I don't mind paying but I tell the lady i'm a first time customer and this is not the way to handle new customer. When the lady asks the attendant outside he of course denies he told me is was no cost. The car was half dried and no tire dressing. I tip the guy and he still forgets the tire dressing after a decent redo of the drying part. Talk to the manager Roland that gets my tire dressed up and justifies himself saying that they are very busy. Overall a below average experience. I was expecting much more as I am looking for a car wash to become my regular one. Will probably not go again read more
