I wanted to try the chili on a dog but can you believe it even at 11:45 they were already sold out of chili! I kept it plain and ordered the OG with red onion and ordered a side of macaroni and cheese. Normally, I don't like macaroni and cheese with liquid cheese sauce, but this was the first time I've had a cheese sauce that was thick enough that it didn't fall off the individual macaroni pieces. It was totally delicious and I will absolutely or the macaroni and cheese again! There are a few small tables outside Dirty Gangster Dogs. We got the vegan dog. It was a plant based sausage flavored with apple sage. It was on a soft bun and we had many different toppings to choose from. We got mustard, cheese, sauerkraut, mild vegan chili and jalapeños. It was a bit messy but such good comfort food. The sausage reminded me a bit of bratwurst, had a good snap and was juicy. All the toppings added texture and a spicy kick. Everything was reasonably priced. Service was very friendly.
