If I lived closer, would be one of my go to Caribbean spots! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ordered takeout from here, so I can't speak to the ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But the oxtail and rice with plantains were VERY Flavorful with a hint of spice. The cabbage wasn't anything to brag about but not enough to lose a star. My takeout arrived so fresh and hot as if I was in the kitchen with the chef lol if you're in the area, certainly give it a try.

Poor handling and preparation. I ordered the curry chicken meal with chicken patties. Would you eat this? The food was not good. The rice was overcooked. Styrofoam containers shouldnt be used as well - harmful.

I absolutely love this place! I go almost every other week. The staff feels like family. Always helpful and nice. I try to order something new every visit. The food is truly authentic. There is a grill in the back of the restaurant. So far I've had the jerk chicken, bbq jerk and curry chicken bowl. I've never tried curry goat and I was able to sample it here. I can't wait to try the oxtails. They have a rewards that I highly recommend singing up for.

    Jerk Salmon Meal

My sister put me on to this place, and I see why she's obsessed! She swears by the curry goat and jerk wings, and after trying the jerk salmon, I might be just as hooked. The salmon came with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains, and this was by far the best Caribbean food I've ever had. Every single bite was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and had a nice spicy kick. On top of that, the portions are very generous--you definitely get your money's worth! If you're looking for amazing Caribbean flavors and hearty portions, this is the spot. I'll definitely be back to try more!

I ordered from this place and 20 minutes later, I received a text message that it was cancelled when I've been sitting in the parking lot waiting for my food to be ready. Just very unprofessional! It's terrible especially when you're out during a lunch break. Not a very reliable spot to buy food from.

The front of the restaurant. The second picture is jerk chicken meal and I got a Kola.

I was about to give up on finding this place because I was starving and didn't initially see it in the shopping center but patience is a virtue. It's actually on the side of the building but people obviously frequent the place because everyone else seemed to know where it was, there were people leaving upon my arrival and people coming while I was waiting. It was my first time trying it so I did a standard jerk wing meal with rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. I'm Trinidadian so I love but am particular about my fellow islanders food. This was so darn good. The wings are cooked on one of those grills that looks like it's cast iron (not sure of the appropriate name) but it gave such an enhancement to the flavor. In my many years I've never had jerk wings that good. The cabbage also stood out to me from my usual experience I don't know what made it slightly different from other Jamaican eateries where I've had there cabbage but if was top notch (weird for cabbage right?) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its strictly carry out with a small table with 2 seats probably just for waiting I don't think it's intended for dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    that fire

I got the jerk chicken, plantains and beans and rice. the platter had a very good serving size and even better flavor. definitely coming back soon.

We shared the cauliflower appetizer, which was delicious, and I ordered the falafel sandwich while my husband enjoyed the grilled chicken kebab. Everything was well-priced and came out quickly, even during the busy lunch rush. The staff were friendly, and I really loved the community-driven mission behind the restaurant, it made the whole experience feel even more special. Parking can be a little tricky, but it's manageable and well worth it. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Baltimore!

I had dinner with a friend at Mera Kitchen Collective a week or so ago and had a pretty nice meal…read more The cafe is beautiful - bright, colorful, with a front window filled with plants, and I love the international menu. According to their menu, "We are proudly building a worker-cooperative serving story-worthy food from around the world." There were certainly dishes from around the world, and the menu is very flexible for a variety of diners (dishes are marked as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free). My friend and I shared the crispy cauliflower and tahini, which was well-fried and delicious. I also appreciated their drink offerings. My friend and I had and enjoyed a couple of glasses of Lebanese Sauvignon Blanc (from Mersel Wine). I had the Farmers Market Za'atar Salad (cucumber, shaved beet, fennel, pomegranate, pickled jalapeno, mint, fried pita, baby greens, and za'atar yogurt dressing), to which I added falafel. Unfortunately, I found the salad to be quite dry (not dressed enough and then the falafel and the pita crisps just compounded that) and served in a dish that made it quite hard to eat without spilling half the salad on the table. The service was friendly but perhaps not very attentive. I got up to ask our server for the check after waiting for a bit of time for her to make her way to us. I wasn't wowed by the food, but I love Mera's concept and their space. I'd be happy to give it another chance to wow me. I'd also be happy to return for mezze/small plates and wine.

Though there are no windows and the walls are lined with tables. We were making jokes the entire time about the beautiful scenery. (A fake window across the wall).. the giant encased heart decoration was...Interesting..? It was lunchtime. We were kind of expecting a small crowd, but we were the only people in the entire restaurant. There is no fountain drinks, only canned soda. There's no waitress. You take your order on the kiosk and then pay and sit and wait. There's no utensils given. Everything is self served We actually came for burgers, but the seafood boil caught my eye because two meat options were only around $40 .really kind of seemed like a good deal. The cheeseburger was a little bit underwhelming. boyfriend didn't even want to eat it because it "wasn't worth the calories." The chicken sandwich on the other hand got devoured. My crab boil. Devoured. We also got some fries and mozzarella sticks. I definitely rate this place a solid 7.3/10 All of the food aside from the burger was actually amazing and I would definitely go for the seafood boil alone. that lady in the kitchen knows what she's doing back there. The mozzarella sticks were really good highly recommend. For the crab boil, the crab clusters i received were big and juicy full of meat! Even without getting sides, you still get corn and potatoes. I got broccoli with mine and it was really delicious. I didn't realize that you had to pay extra to get the metal utensils to crack them open. I used the plastic fork provided at the utensil counter and my hands and I was able to get the meat out perfectly fine with very minimal struggle. Ask for the service it was OK. not very friendly. The girl at the front desk was on her phone on FaceTime the entire time that we were there and kind of seemed annoyed like we were bothering her whenever we asked questions or want drinks, dessert, etc..She was even like spraying the table and cleaning the counters with one hand holding the other hand up on FaceTime. My recommendation for this place would definitely be and a fountain drink machine possibly have a hostess seat guests ,Bring a roll of utinsils and do refills. I feel like that's really big for people if you're going inside to enjoy a meal to sit down. Also maybe smile or sum idk
