Wow wow wow! Me Tierra has become a regular for me and my family. I also go to there often for business meetings or just to hang with friends. If you're looking for that Old School traditional, family Mexican taste, you're not going to quite find that here, you can find it but you got to drive all the way to places like San Francisco, Pittsburg California or elsewhere far away. But what you will find is a delicious alternative. Their rice is very delicious they're beans all versions of them are also very well done. Their sauces are quite good and even though they don't do my favorite which is ground beef enchiladas, all the other versions of them I have come to love. I've given this place so many chances to make it right- It fails every time. I'm not into critique, but a smile goes a long way. A hello when you arrive. It sets the mood. Always rushed and food is never on point. Always mediocre. It's too expensive for that. Service lacks as much as the food. I gave up- too many others that are far superior. read more

The owner doesn't know how to treat customers. I had an incident awhile ago with her. Accusing me of no paying my bill. I show my recit and she still wasn't satisfied and ask to show pictures of my family to see if they were with me that day. Never apologize for the accusation, but I give her another try. Last time she was worse, I went for breakfast and she completely ignored me. Thanks the son was there to uknowlage me and place my order. It was very sad her attitudes, lije if I did something wrong to her. I always been vey kind to her. But the behavior made my decision never to go back again to be mistreated by her. read more

We stopped at Mi Tierra before work a few weeks ago. My breakfast burrito (chorizo, eggs, beans, and potatoes) was simple and tasty, especially topped with their salsa. I asked for extra salsa since we finished our first serving with their crispy tortilla chips. My husband's chile verde burrito was great too. The green sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the pork was tender. I always wish for a jar to take home whenever there's a good sauce, like their green sauce. I appreciated the homey decor, clean restroom, and friendly service. Our server also wore a Subway shirt - kudos to her for working two jobs! read more

We were visiting, and stopped in for dinner on our last night. Food was delicious! All of us were satisfied with the taste of our meals. I would've gave 5 stars however the service was not it, extremely slow getting food out. The waitress looked to be having a terrible day (Idk but you can tell she did not want to be there, granted she was pregnant so maybe she wasn't feeling well?) the restaurant itself was very warm, too warm. When in town again, would we stop in? Sure! The food was great! Much better than the other restaurant in Burson. Let's hope for better customer service next time though. read more

This little restaurant has authentic Mexican food that is very good. It's pretty pricey, though, so we can not visit often. Bummer.

Hit and miss for me. The staff is awesome. Let me first say that. Very courteous and helpful. The albondigas and pozole are wonderful! Let me change that. They are WONDERFUL. But I have had a couple dishes that I wasn't impressed by. I want to say one was a Chile Relleno "stuffed with chicken." But was really a Chile relleno on top of bland chicken. Food has always been good previously. This evening I ordered chili verde and instead of guacamole, there were mashed peas and some strands of lettuce mixed in to it. There was no avocado. I tried calling to discuss with them but their mailbox was full when no one answered. Based on this, I decided to leave a review. This place is so yummy. We were in the area and needed some good food for a birthday dinner. This was so nice to eat out in the shaded patio. I had the 2 item combo with Chile relleno and quesadilla. Others enjoyed: carne asada super burrito, Chile relleno 1 item combo, and a bean, cheese and rice burrito. We also got some tortillas on the side, and chips and salsa. I needed a dessert at the last minute. I called to see if Hwy had 5 flans and they did. Boy my gosh, it was the best flan ever.

Food is good, however, trying to get through on the phone is ridiculous. Sometimes takes an hour before they answer. When you get there, it's not busy. One person there. In addition, 3 times now they screwed up our order. Clearly on the menu, the carnitas plate comes with sour cream and guacamole. Get home, neither. Also, the kitchen staff were filling food containers with rice with their bare hands...no gloves or spoon. We may have to switch Mexican restaurants. read more

Usually the food is hot and fresh, the to go wait times can NOT be beat(they are fast when calling in a pick up) & they are good at special requests(putting things on the side/omitting things: ex. NO ONIONS. My ONLY gripe is the last two times my food(I love the flautas) was burned or the rolled shell had exploded open and was hard to eat(not a "fork" friendly food). But all in all pretty good food and GREAT service. read more
