They were also so kind to provide us with a churro sample while ours were cooking. It was fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. However, when we took our churros back to the car to eat, we were disappointed to find that they were raw primarily inside. They were crispy on the outside, but incredibly doughy in the middle, which was a big letdown. I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for them to be cooked properly, especially since it wasn't hectic and they didn't seem rushed. We're definitely going to give them another try, because anyone can have an off day, and we're hoping it was just that, since it's always such a treat to enjoy fresh churros. Hopefully, the next churros experience will be different since we're big fans of churros in this house. They also had a variety of other delicious desserts on their menu, which we might try next time, in addition to the churros.

The soft tiny street tortilla was packed with minced steak and was very filling. If you step inside the storefront, there is a large dining room with many simple tables and chairs . Yes the walls are plain white. It feels like small town Mexico, a relief from the ubiquitous cloned franchise fast food sameness which has stolen American restaurant uniqueness in every town. There is a space heater you can turn on for warmth and enjoy the friendly family, making their start in business here, by offering locals authentic Mexican food.. I'll be checking back in and hope this family business will make it .
