They sent an engineer without providing any contact information for him for follow up. The report they sent after we paid them several hundred dollars did not include clear explanations of the assumptions made and there were no photos to support any of the comments. After the engineer left, I also received new information. At his suggestion when he was onsite I sent numerous photos to a generic email account. He said he would take his own photos but it was fine to send them to illustrate my points. He never responded to anything I sent. My General Contrator and I requested a meeting for clarification of the report and discuss the new findings. There was no response to this request. I was told by an admin that she was told to tell us that we would have to pay more for a report with photos. The engineer led me to believe there would be photos used in the report. After my request to meet by phone, they did send a new report written by another person who had never investigated any of it that seemed vindictive since it removed the most meaningful information in the original report. I had sent them a report used by the opposing party and maybe there was a conflict of interest there. They should have raised that issue before I sent the report. I would never recommend this untrustworthy company to anyone.

What I really like about Green Scene is their videos along with the detailed photo report. They also use thermal imaging. Long ago, I had an inspector briefly point out things and provided written report afterwards. I was definitely okay shelling out more money for a piece of mind. Derek did nitpick a bit but, with this kind of investment, nitpicking is very welcomed! The encounter left us feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. We have since filed a formal complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) regarding this incident. You should be able to spend a night in a home to test drive it before purchase...but until that becomes normalized - there are home inspections. We are working quickly to close on a home in Coppell and reached out to Angel based on his excellent reviews. He truly lived up to the hype. He was able to inspect the house within 24 hours of our request and spent a thorough 3 to 4 hours going over every detail, even climbing up on the roof. There is an upcharge to include a pool inspection, but we added it because it is always better to be safe than sorry. Angel noticed things we never would have even thought to look for. After the inspection, he took the time to personally walk us through the report, answering all of our questions, and then sent a detailed copy with photos just a few hours later. You really cannot put a price on peace of mind. Highly recommend!
