Dr Kaufman has good besdside manners. He talks a lot, he listens what are your goals or priorities. He has a good reputation and everyday the waiting room is packed that made me wonder how he managed to see all those patients and do surgeries at the same time. The clinic staffs are very busy. Long waiting time in the waiting room even if you have a 9am appointment, you will be seen past 12noon based on experience. Post op nurses here are always on a rush, they also have earbuds on their ears talking spanish non stop and I cannot understand anything. Even if you're in excruciating pain they don't care, as soon as you wake up they want you in a wheelchair and get out even if you ate groggy. Its affordable here compared to different states that's why most people travel here because the amount you spend will be a quarter of what's for example in the Bay area. But expect you are just a number here. People go in and out and that's it. If you have a problem or complication, you are on your own. Its hard to communicate to the staff even if you are dying or what. Emergency room or PCP will not help you if you have a complication as well. Dr Kaufman is 5/5 but the clinic staffs is 1/5. Overall, I would now rate my experience a 7/10. My initial experience left me feeling a bit frustrated. The clinic operates very quickly, and at times it can feel like you're just another number being moved through the process. For example, my surgery was scheduled for 1:15 PM, but I didn't go back until 8:35 PM, which felt extremely unorganized and unprofessional. Post-op care was another area that could be improved. I didn't see my surgeon again after the procedure, and the follow-up felt minimal. Since this wasn't my first surgery, I was comfortable navigating recovery on my own--but if this were my first experience, I could see how the lack of guidance would feel overwhelming and even a bit scary. I also wasn't impressed with the post-op massages. They are listed as 30-minute sessions but felt much shorter and rushed. In my opinion, they weren't worth the cost, and similar care could be done at home. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. Dr. Miller did a phenomenal job. My breast augmentation revision looks very natural and proportionate, which was exactly what I wanted. My Lipo 360 results also turned out really well, and I'm happy with my overall outcome. If you are looking for an affordable option, this clinic may work for you. However, if you value more personalized care, consistent follow-up, and a more attentive experience, that is something to consider before booking. Price change to contract 8900 to 11k a week before surgery, 15% fee added to use care credit not disclosed until day of, surgery date change less than a week prior pre op done same day as surgery, thrown out after barely waking up was completely incorrect and unable to control my body in and out of sleep. Also they called my husband demanding he come and pay more money because they charged incorrectly AFTER I WAS ALREADY PUT TO SLEEP. He came and paid because they charged wrong. They put me to sleep at 12:30 I woke up at 9:30. How long was I under on the table before the started operating! Requesting my medical files. I've been told for months it was just swelling and would go down keep compressing then now 6 months out was left with tons of skin still in upper abdomen after paying more for the TT. Tried to get a consult for a second TT or correction (was willing to pay) and was told I should be happy with how much of an improvement it was! I recently had Lipo 360 and chin lipo with Dr. James McAdoo. Ana his assistant was a sweetheart. I couldn't be happier with my experience! The staff was incredibly professional and kind, making me feel comfortable every step of the way. Most of the staff have also done their procedures with the doctors they work for. The anesthesia team did an amazing job calming my nerves before surgery, which made the entire experience so much smoother. The doctor was thorough and ensured all my basic questions were answered. Post op is dangerous, they are taking too many patients and cannot manage the amount coming through the door next day they had me standing in the waiting room with drains for over an hour the waiting room is too small and one person working the desk and a manager that has no idea how to manage for plantation location, sent me away from surgery confused and hyperventilating. First I'll start with it took me more than a year of research to finally decide to get my Breast lift done. I found Dr Michael Lee Miller and began following him on IG. Along with Miami life Plastic surgery, Dr Nassif as well as Dr Kaufman. I started watching their live Q& A via IG. I decided to have my procedure with Dr Miller. I was NOT disappointed! Not only is he friendly! He is GREAT! At what he does. Very professional, informative! He was pretty busy but took the time in between procedures to come down and have a chat with me. I left my pre-op appointment feeling confident and ready for my new boobs! Surgery day arrived and he was again very pleasant! Answered any and all my questions. He made sure I was comfortable! The staff was also very pleasant. The office is very clean!!!! The bathroom was impeccable considering you're in a surgical office! The girls although are very busy they aren't nasty at all. As much as I harassed them via text and in office they should have been sick of me haha but they never showed it. Paying for my procedure was a breeze. The location of the office is also pretty cool! It's surrounded by food and pharmacy to help you handle your business while you wait. I received my scripts the day before which was great so we had time to get them filled. After surgery when waking up it felt rushed but it def wasn't. They were very caring. The meds make it seem like you're on fast forward, you may feel like they are throwing you out but that is def not the case! It's all the meds. Their bedside manor was impeccable. It's been 6 months- as they told me to wait and it would get better however, the Lipo done on my stomach looks terrible, I have called the office and called and sent pictures and for four months now nobody has even called me back. On July 15th I went to Miami to go have a mommy makeover done by Dr, Kaufman, he had me cut open and the anesthesiologist and him both knew my height my weight and everything else my medical history and I've never had a problem with going under the knife. But this time around I was giving too much anesthesia and my heart stopped for about 3 minutes and they had to perform CPR on me and they stapled me up and sent me to Miami South Baptist Hospital. Where I spent 9 days there and had to have two surgeries there and then when I got home to Houston I had to have another two surgeries for my stomach to even remotely be okay not presentable because it looks like I have a butt on my front. All I can say to you all that want to have a mommy makeover a BBL breast implants or whatever do your research on the doctor. You had two medical professionals that could not keep me alive and when I asked him if he would go back and fix what was wrong he told me no. He said I was too high risk even though I've had for surgeries after what he did to me. I'm showing you pictures because this is 8 months after my surgery with him my last surgery to make sure that I was okay and had to be done by a general surgeon to get all the infection out from under my skin was October 21st 2025. I know that when I was in the hospital I was so heavily medicated I was out for 20 hours they didn't EEG on me and they did a brain scan on me to make sure that I had brain function. Dr Nassif was amazing! I had a bbl and I am almost a year post-op. I had no complications and they followed up at 6 months post-op to assure I was ok. I would like to go for a round 2/ revision, which I will be planning for the near future. The staff was great, the recommendations for IV vitamins gave me so much energy and life! I walked several times throughout the day after surgery, and I follow every bit of direction given to me. TL;DR - Run, don't walk, away from Miami Life. I am now 6 weeks post-op and can say that I am literally afraid to do any type of plastic surgery again. I was supposed to do a "Round 2" after my first procedure but even if I did decide to go through with it again, I will definitely NOT be going back here. I currently have an open wound on both breasts and on my tummy tuck scar. The first issue- upon check-in, they told me I had to pay for my post-op garments (faja, tummy tuck binder, and bra) in addition to my surgery fees. I pointed out that these were supposed to be included according to the contract I had put a deposit on.  She got snotty with me and then told me that I would have to produce the credit card that I paid the deposit with in order for them to honor my contract. TF?! It is not a credit card that I use often, so I did not have it with me.   I also could not remember which card I used, so I went through six months of credit card statements on 4 different credit cards in order to find the proof of payment of the deposit. If I hadn't found it, they would not have credited my deposit or honored the package that I put the deposit on. So, then I went ahead and paid $5,000 and  ONLY AFTER they took my $5,000, I was then told that my surgeon would not be in today, so I would NOT be getting my pre-op consultation until the MORNING OF my surgery. At that point, I kind of wanted to just go home, but I did already pay for my recovery stay and my flight, and I had already given them $5,000 which I knew I would not be getting back for at least a week or so with a regular refund process. ANyway, they assured me that even if I was just going to see my surgeon right before my surgery, that I would have enough time to talk to her about "everything" before the actual surgery. I mean, I doubted it but like I didn't really have a lot of options at that point. There was also a really weird form in their paperwork that I refused to sign, which was basically a form stating that I was discharging myself from the facility AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE after my surgery. Then they literally tried to tell me that even though that's what it says, "that's not what it means" as if I don't know how to read. Also, any time I had a question about the things I was signing, both girls at the front desk had an attitude about me asking questions. Which I really didn't appreciate because I was genuinely confused about a couple of things. (For example, I was asked to sign a form saying I was consenting to a breast reduction, when I was not supposed to be getting a breast reduction. They looked at me like I was stupid and said that if I was getting a breast lift, that's the same thing. Excuse me, but that wasn't common knowledge to me, especially since I had already signed a consent form for a breast lift. Like, tell me how that makes sense.) read more

I had surgery here mainly because of the doctor. The office staff is unorganized, switching my surgery cordinator at least 3 times since I was from Los Angeles going to Miami. They rush to send you pre op lab works 30 days prior to surgery which my primary doctor said was not safe. Then they give you pre op appointments at 10 am per se but don't help you till 6 pm at night so what is the point of the appoint. Surgery day as well they give you a time get you naked and leave you waiting hours before surgery. The staff the day of surgery are so rude and unprofessional making it so hard to prep for surgery. I work in healthcare so I understand the importance of being calm and taken care of before going under but the day of my surgery I was scared alone and naked in a room and because no one came to check on me for hours I decided to peek out and the lady working screamed for me to go back to the room and slammed my door shut told me to stay there the doctors will be there when they will be there. Once I woke from surgery no proper care was giving I was screaming in pain and not one nurse came to me to explain anything or even take my vital to make sure I was ok. I feel like he knows he did something wrong and won't see me. Had surgery with Dr. Nassif, and he is hands down one of the best surgeons in Miami. The cost for bbl and lipo is very reasonable and affordable in my opinion. He is very funny and really cares about his patients and made you feel really comfortable. His assistant is very sweet and answers any questions you may have in regards to the procedure. They also call throughout the week to check on you. I also highly recommend getting lymphatic drainage massages by Maria. She is super sweet, makes you feel very comfortable and her hands are like magic. The massages help drain the 4 liters of salt water that is put into you during surgery so the fat is easier to remove. The more you do the massages the better you'll feel, the less pain you'll have and the quicker your recovery is. Most of the pain you'll have is from the liquid inside, therefore, the massages are very important and worth the money. read more

My name is Christine I had surgery mastopexy, implants, and argumentation surgery on March 13 2023 with Dr. Chavez. This was the worst experience of my life. First, let me just say this I did not get my prescription until the next day March 14 when I went for my postop visit. I did 2 visits after my surgery with a nurse at the facility. On March 18th I returned home after the surgery. A few days later I notice I had a discharge coming from my breast. I went ahead in sent the picture to Dr. Chavez she told me this was normal it was just the fatty tissue. She sent me a list of items to buy. I notice a few days later it was getting worst so I sent a picture of the gauze in she said it was an infection. On March 30 2023 I went to the emergency room where I was admitted in put on antibiotics which did not work. The Dr explains the infection is bad and that I need emergency surgery to remove the implants. On March 31, 2023, the surgery was done and the implants were removed. The Dr came in and spoke to me on April 1 2023 he said I had a very bad infection and they took pictures of my breast during the surgery. He explained the infection happened as soon as Dr. Chavez perform the surgery. The doctor stated that he never see anything like this where a patient was 18 days post-op, and had an infection. This is bad in both breasts. I reach out to Dr. Chavez all she said was sorry. I'm now on 900mg of antibiotics. This was a near-death experience. I asked Dr. Chavez can I be reimbursed due to the situation from the surgery.
