I had taken in an abandoned dog, a pitbull mix, who was young but adult size and 56 pounds. He was not fixed so had scheduled him for neutering, but it would take some time. It was fine, I could not spend time with him because he was attracted to my leg, to take him out in the backyard was off could do. He was well behaved. However, the backyard neighbors have been away with their dogs in the head come back on a Saturday. Starting Saturday night, after being in the backyard when the other dogs were backyard, he started really hyper. And Sunday he just won't be berserk, he somehow got out of a closed door room, he had scratched the door had put a hole in the wall. He chased after my cats, and he was going on the tables and I just couldn't control him. I called different places, thinking I had to get rid of them right away for my cats. It was a Sunday night so I had no luck. Until I called North Florida K9 Behavior Center and luckily, he answered the phone. He was a godsend. He calmed me down because I was hysterical. Gave me great information about neutering and what to expect after you neuters. He also gave me a lot of great psychological canine behavior, tips and information explain so much he helped me get a plan together, which I was too hysterical otherwise to have done without him. It set a plan to put Teddy in the garage with the cage, and to keep him away from the cats, meaning I would take him directly from the garage, the backyard and not to the house. he called me down enough to realize that the neutering process would help a lot, and that it was OK to keep him in the garage for now for his safety safety of my cats and my sanity. I literally don't know what I would have done without him. Teddy is still waiting neutering so after Teddy has that procedure, and finishes his vaccine boosters, our plan to call him again. You can't go wrong with a person who's so understanding, so calm, know so much about any more behavior and psychology, someone who takes the time out of their off time to help deal with a hysterical person, which she did not have to do. I highly recommend his services.

We enrolled Taz in their 4/5 weeks obedience training and OMG we legit have a brand new dog!! He is more calm, settled, obedient and has really responded positively to this new training and rules. The entire team at Unleash Fido have been very helpful, professional and kind. Our trainer Macayla has checked in with us frequently to see how things are going, answering questions and has provided several post training sessions to ensure we are comfortable and continuing his training. He saw our toddler as a fellow pup, and before his camp at Unleash Fido we were dealing with constant nipping, tearing clothes, chasing, jumping, chewing, difficulty house training, and general lawlessness. Then he went to Puppy Camp at Unleash Fido and worked with Brittni. He came home a truly different and wonderful dog. he was in control of his body and his actions. He obeyed commands and was house trained. Best of all, though, we saw his true personality emerge from underneath the chaos - we got to make friends with the sweet, personable, loyal dog he is. We are grateful for Brittni and Unleash Fido for giving us the dog we always wanted. Teddy is much happier now, and so are we.

Second appointment: no call no show. This time they blamed the fact that the trainer hurt his back two days prior. No one could reach the trainer so it was assumed it had to do with an injury that they knew about two days prior yet couldn't be bothered to reach us. They then assumed we would still be available since we scheduled a 2.5 hour block and were rude about why we were upset. We explained that when we booked this block it was with the understanding that we had other appointments. Employee on the phone said if the situation didn't affect customers why should they notify us? As if sitting here wasting my day off waiting for them to not show isn't affecting me. We were not prepared for his energy and realized quickly after a dog DNA test, we needed help! Courtney is AMAZING. She took our wild, destructive, houdini, and turned him into a well trained dog. At pick up she worked with my husband and me so we could learn to take over the training process at home. She also offers lifetime lessons just in case us parents need a little help! Our biggest concerns were that after five weeks at his age, he might not remember us -- that didn't happen; and that the training would break his spirit or affect his personality. That didn't happen either. We got him back with all the things we loved about him and none of the things we didn't. She is a constant demon, but the minute he walked in, she was a tranquil-ish, and readily began to (sort of) follow his commands. We originally saw Ryan working with training a dog at St. Johns Town Center on the crowded sidewalks. He had that dog tightly following commands and expected behaviors. The dog looked like they had a "mind meld" with Ryan, because of how well it behaved walking through all the people and cars. Perfect behavior. So we are super excited to begin training next month with the Beginner in-home program. Following that we have already committed to going straight into the Intermediate at-home training. We had a minor hiccup with our original interaction, but the staff made it right quickly. So we appreciate not only a great trainer, but the staff who back up his work was great, also. Can't wait to see what happens with our overly excitable - hyper active little cattle herding pup!
