We booked through Day Use which allows you to stay just for the day. 10-6p. It's apparently not guaranteed though. So even though it says booked/reserved they may not have availability- which makes no sense. We did get in though. $200 + use of the pool. There's a nice bar and restaurant. The pool is shared with Aloft. Also a great lobby space you can use. No one was using the pool. Sunday afternoon maybe a slow time? They have a partnership with a shuttle service which will take you to MIA or FLL. TBD if it's good. Will update. *Update- the shuttle was great. We communicated with them on WhatsApp. We were arranging the shuttle for our parents to go to FLL and they were communicating with us when they had picked them up and when they had dropped them off. Our parents are not familiar with the area and can be confused with technology so this was a really helpful situation. read more

Well-priced hotel on the "quiet" side of Brickell. Rooms are a little basic, but comfortable and nice looking. Efficient front desk. A 4-12 minute walk to almost anything you want in Brickell, and the metro (train and mover both) are just 3 mins away. Miami (mainland) is reasonably compact, so you can also Uber most places you'd want to go, in short order. Most of the noise and action are a short walk away on the other side of the metro tracks- so this area was nice and quiet, although that may change when the big new development across the street really gets going. Only sore spot was oddly poor service in the otherwise aesthetically pleasing restaurant-bar Indigo has become the brand that I choose when my primary loyalty program doesn't have anything suitable. They often have properties in prime locations like this one. I would stay again. read more

Fair price, smooth check in, comfortable stay = no complaints. Great location off Brickell within walking distance to the metro and a few restaurants. Stayed with hubby and kiddo for one night prior to boarding a cruise. Hotel Indigo was relatively close to the port. I chose it primarily because of that and the fact they have an in-house restaurant, which was convenient since we did not rent a car. The bathroom products smelled great and left my hair feeling soft and silky. The air conditioning was nice & cold, which is a must in Miami. And the beds were SO comfortable. We appreciated that they gave us a later checkout upon request. Sadly, we did not realize they had a rooftop bar until it was time to check out. Sounds like that would have been cool. Normally we stay in Airbnb rentals when we travel but this was a welcome change of pace and made me consider switching back to hotels from time to time if we aren't with a large group. My friend stayed at this hotel why visiting from NY for Art Basel. The staff was very helpful and friendly when I went to go visit her. They even offered us the opportunity to go to the lounge/bar on the 24th floor. The lounge is so nice and spacious. The bar has nice selection of drinks and appetizers that you can charge to your room or pay separately. They also offer free unlimited tea/coffee/water(still or sparkling) at the bar. Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Actually I've stayed in worse, but at least I knew what I was getting in to. We booked a room with a balcony but was told there were none available. The word reservation is apparently subjective. There was trash on Flo in the lobby at check in and I literally watched employees walk right past it several times. The elevator is super slow and not easy to use. The water in the shower was ice cold and when I complained, I was told I needed the run the sink at the same time as the shower. Had to go to my room for gym towels. Several of outlets in our room were broken. Ok, I think you got it. I will never again stay here. Avoid this one at all cost. read more

The other reviews are correct -- as far as they go. The location is great. Close to Brickell, close to excellent restaurants, easy access to and from the freeway. Large bedroom plus a sitting room. Comfortable bed. Hip decor. Great shower. Loads of hot water. And A TERRIBLE PLACE TO SLEEP. So we're in bed getting ready to turn out the lights when the people in the adjacent room arrived, played loud music, laughed uproariously, and one guy coughed all night. All night. And all of this sounded like they were in the room with us. Is there no soundproofing? In the morning I realized that there was a connecting door between our rooms, like when you have your kids in the next room. So when I went down to go get some breakfast, I asked the two stylish women at the desk what the deal was. Well, it seems that you have to request a room that does not/not have an adjoining room, just like you'd request a higher floor or a room facing the bay. It strikes me that facilitating a good night's sleep is the basic thing one expects of a hotel. All of the other stuff -- view, style, bar, gym -- are add ons to the basic purpose. And the attitude of the desk staff made it worse. Their response to my complaint was to look sympathetic and say "hmmm." IHG, y'all have fallen short here. Can you imagine saying to a potential guest: "the room we're assigning you has a connecting door to an adjacent room which modern engineering is unable to sound proof. You'll hear every sound your neighbors in the next room make. And your spouse will be mad as hell with you in the morning and you'll be grumpy because neither of you will be able to sleep." read more

I had been looking at this property before finally booking it and it was a good choice! It has been opened for a year and a half and that makes a difference to me when booking since I do not enjoy old properties. I checked in late but the staff was nice and attentive. The first time I got my room key but it did not work, I had to go back down and got upgraded to a suite, since they were out of the room I reserved, so that was a nice change. The room has a living room, a king size bed, automatic blinds, safe, mini fridge and an open closet. It has a nice decor and the theme is a modern blue. I liked it and it all blended well. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. I was told that the metro station is a block away and there are restaurants and a grocery store close by. I did not venture out since I stayed at work late, but something to keep in mind if you need food or groceries. The lobby is nice and there is a bar and restaurant on site. Parking is valet only and it is $30 a night. Pretty quick and safe. If I come back, I will definitely keep the property in mind. read more

We haven't even checked in yet and it's been an incredibly subpar experience. After waiting from 9 am to 12:45 pm, we called to ask when our room would be ready, knowing full well rooms are guaranteed at 4 pm, and they said in 5 minutes, so we hustled back and they said no rooms were available. There have been dirty cups and clothing on the floor of the lobby since this morning. There are clients listening to their phones on full blast out in the lobby. On the way out this morning, other customers literally stopped us to warn us the rooms were incredibly small and telling us not to stay here, which I've never experienced in my life. This is not a 4 or even 3 star experience. It's practically a motel at this point. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Room itself was fine. It is conveniently located to the Brickell station which is nice. Maid service is only every other day, which is a bummer. Upon entering the lobby you're greeted with a heavy dose of cologne. Like woah! Issue 1 - The shower faucet is one of the weirdest ones I've ever encountered. After 10 plus minutes of being buck naked and waiting for the hot water, I was frustrated that it was still cold. (There were no signs or directions on the faucet on where the hot water was.) So I called downstairs and maintenance came up. The resting position on the nozzle was at 6:00 and hot water was at 7:00. I had the hot water setting around 10:00 to 12:00. Issue 2 - Once I got into the shower, there was no conditioner, but hand soap. The conditioner was near the sink and the hand soap was in the shower. I had to report this to the front desk the next day. Glad I took pictures, because this was a weird situation to explain to the front desk. Overall, a good stay. Not sure it's really a 4 star hotel though. read more

Located in downtown Miami this hotel is steps away from public transit station, next to a grocery store and bunch of restaurants. Rooms are super clean, including bathrooms. Had a really nice stay here. Staff was very friendly letting us check in early and holding our bags. Room was clean and spacious. Only issue we had was room service didn't come by one day but the staff was easily able to give us more towels. Hotel is in a perfect location location in brickell. Feels like you are in a neighborhood. Several bars and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk as well as a Publix grocery. The metro rail is right next door too. Cute modern hotel in the middle of brickell. Valet was polite. Lobby is very cute. There is a nice sized bar located upon entry. Checkin in was seamless. $100 incidental fee per night (pretty standard). Room was super cute. I love the attention to detail in the decor. The phone in the room didn't work. I had to call the front desk from my cell phone which took so much longer having to go through multiple automated prompts and even resulting in me being connected with corporate then having to be transferred to a phone on property. When I finally did get the front desks number, I called down for more towels and got a voicemail notification that stated the voicemail was full. Very annoying. Initially the hot water didn't work in the shower but maintenance was very quick to rectify the issue. Full size shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower. We thought the iron didn't work but after much contemplation came to the realization the outlet it was plugged into couldn't support the wattage of the iron for some reason. The following morning I visited the pool. Open from dawn to dusk. Very cute layout and decor. Pool towels available. The flooring around the pool needs to be redone. Some tiles loose. It sucks that there isn't a bar available before 5:30pm to enjoy drinks while swimming, especially since it's Miami. read more

I'm not going to go into too much detail on here, but my emails to their management/customer service have now been ignored for a few weeks. We had an unfortunate issue where the toilet wouldn't flush and requested our room to be changed. They moved us to a room that smelled horribly of dog urine. We later found out that this was a pet friendly room. We were then moved to a much nicer room, which was a great gesture. I was hoping to speak to somebody more about this because unfortunately this all occurred in the early hours of the morning and a lot of sleep was lost. They offered the equivalent of US $40 in points for the inconvenience. I decided that I wanted to escalate a bit and talk to Management. After getting the runaround on the phone and with the IHG Customer service, they told me that I needed to contact the hotel directly via email. I have now made multiple attempts and have yet to receive a response or even acknowledgment of my email. It has been weeks. therefore, they have earned one star in my book. I will not be returning and I will not recommend anybody stay at this hotel. Very unprofessional. read more

Has assistance to get into pool if you are disabled. Workout room has treadmills, one stationary bike and free-weights. Multiple elevators - didn't have to wait too long for one. MUCH better bed than the Hotel Indigo that we stayed in in Los Angeles! 2 big screen tvs in room. Comfy couch/sitting area. The only thing I missed was a mirror by the desk area - would have been helpful fr putting on makeup/doing hair. But nice bathroom with very large, lighted mirror. read more

Leaving a review for anyone booking a suite at this hotel thinking they are going to get the balcony with their suite. I have a surprise for you....don't expect a balcony with your suite. You are paying the extra money for a couch. I booked my hotel stay for Feb 2022 with a suite room that comes with a balcony. I even called the hotel before booking my room if the suites came with balconies and I was told YES! To my surprise when I checked in, the room I received did not come with a balcony. I immediately returned to the front desk to make them aware of the error and I was told not all suites come with balconies. I was then told to contact the company I booked through (CheapTickets) to cancel my reservation and to get a refund. So I did. I called CheapTickets who then called the front desk to confirm the cancelation. HOWEVER, the front desk (Dorys and Karen) Told CheapTickets to refund me for two nights but to charge me for one night as "my room was unsellable since I had entered it." Mind you I have only been in my room for only one hour trying to handle the cancelation. So not only did they not give me the room I reserved and requested. Now they want to charge me $500 for staying in the room for 1HOUR! Who does that?! AND THERE WAS NOT A MANAGER ON DUTY. She (Rosemary) called out. I come to Miami minimum twice a year and this was my first time staying at this Hotel Indigo, but I will not be returning nor will my friends or colleagues! You can stay at the ALOFT literally right next door and your room WILL COME WITH A BALCONY. the front desk provides faster service and early check-in at no additional charge! DO NOT STAY AT THE INDIGO! IHG does not know how to treat their Elite reward members. I have messaged management (Alan Neira and Rosemary Morales) about this incident so I will let you all know if they decide to provide proper customer service. read more

This hotel is located in a very prime location- close to shops, restaurants, train station and shopping mall. The street is quiet with a a few apartment buildings so you won't get any craziness around you. I stayed 4 nights at this hotel on the 10th floor. I'm constantly on the road for work so I prefer to stay away from the elevators with dark curtains. Unfortunately, the curtains are not long enough so light comes in at sunrise. That's the only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars. Overall, I loved the location, staffers were super nice and also like the fact they had a security officer after 6pm, which is great especially when you're a female traveling alone. I didn't get the chance to check out the pool or the upstairs bar/lounge. Will stay here again! (fingers crossed that they get new curtains) read more

I found the Hotel Indigo using a travel booking site and I'm surely glad that I did. The hotel is either brand new or was just remodeled, because everything about it was immaculate, trendy and fresh. When you walk in, you're instantly captivated by the light fixtures and art displayed in the front lobby and bar area. The pool and fitness centers are on the 6th floor. I was in awe of how beautiful and well kept both areas were. My room was on the 15th floor, which offered stunning city views from a floor to ceiling window. The queen sized beds were super comfy! The bathroom was my absolute favorite part of the room. The decor and overhead glass door showers were simply perfect. The Brickell area was also a prime location, especially without having a rental car. A lot of options in the area were walkable. There's a Publix, a Cuban shop, Wendy's, Cajun Boil seafood, American Social, liquor store and a host of other dining and entertainment options all within a few blocks radius. We decided to rent the city bikes and bike to South Beach. It was a 5 mile trek and almost took us out, but it was awesome nonetheless. Definitely would recommend this hotel for your Miami travels! read more

Beautiful hotel and nice amenities! This is the second Hotel Indigo I have stayed at and they are quickly becoming a favorite in the IHG brand. The room was clean and new! The pool is nice and the hotel is dog friendly which I LOVE! The only thing I didn't love was that Brickell is so far from the beach. ZERO STARS, GUESTS BEWARE. TL;DR - DO NOT STAY HERE. DIRTY, UNCLEANED BATHROOMS, RUDE STAFF, ESPECIALLY MANAGER RAY DEL. Full story: The bathrooms are not cleaned properly, they literally left crumpled toilet paper on things, used conditioner and vagisil in the shower...just to charge ME a cleaning fee. Staff will literally make up stories to justify the charge...my count was four different stories. I called on a Friday to dispute, the manager lied about who he was and told me to call back on Monday, buying them time to complete a "deep cleaning" in order to refuse my refund and dispute. wasn't apologetic at all about their accusations although he did admit they confused me with another guest. refused to give me corporate number, I got it anyway...Corporate filed another complaint only for the hotel staff to complete ignore me in their 48-hour window and now the Brickell staff recognize my number and hang up when I call. I'm going to have to go through the fraud department at my credit card company! read more

Stayed only one night and it was enough as I didn't enjoy my stay. Went down to Miami for a party. Arrived to the hotel at 5:00. Check in was at 4 and room was not ready. We reserved room that has King bed and sofa bed for some privacy. We were told they could offer a room with two queen beds instead. When we told receptionist we didn't want that as we wanted some privacy we were told we weren't going to have any privacy anyways. Instead of solving the problem. There is more privacy as there's a wall in between living room and bedroom. We waited for our room for about 10 minutes. We have a party to get to (time sensitive) so we went back to reception to check. They provided us room key. Went up to room rushing to start getting ready for party. Went to shower NO HOT WATER!!!!! We all had to shower with cold water! At this point we couldn't leave because we were short on time. Later that day we find out this has been going on since Thursday or Friday. We checked in Saturday. They should have said something at the time of check in. read more

Stayed here Feb 11 - 12 2023. Came into a nice hotel room and nothing worked. After a 5 hour flight I just wanted to settle in and throw all my important things in the safe. But nope! Safe did not work. Wanted to call front desk but even the phone did not work. Had to google the number and call the hotel from my own phone. While waiting for maintenance I come to find the TV is not working. The room I was in was a 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and got placed into another room where the safe was not working again. At that time I was just annoyed. Took all my important things and just walked to the nearby cafe after complaining to the front desk. After dinner I came back, the safe now operational but kind of too late. Checked out the next morning and asked if there was any price difference from the original room I was in because the room that we moved into did not have the other bathroom. The front desk reply was that there was no difference in price. Complete BS in my opinion. That time I was just fed up and was just happy to leave the hotel. I did have a great time at the cafe though. Food and service was great there but does not make up for the crappy hotel experience. Hope no one else gets to experience this. read more
