What should have been a fun day playing tourist in our own city turned into a perfect example of…read morewhy visitors leave Miami frustrated. We showed up at 9:10 AM, exactly as instructed, only to be told our booking had been moved to 11:30 AM without any notice whatsoever. No email. No call. Nothing. Just "oh yeah, it was changed." From there, it was 30 minutes of standing around, being sent back and forth between employees who clearly had no idea what was going on. Eventually, we were told we'd receive a refund and a free boat tour as compensation for the inconvenience. Sounds reasonable, right? Except when they went to process it, they tried to charge the boat tour tickets against the refund credit -- essentially undoing the compensation they just promised. If we hadn't been paying attention, we would have been charged anyway. Luckily, we caught it, demanded clarity, and only then did they issue a full refund and actually give us the boat tour tickets for free like they said they would in the first place. The boat tour itself (celebrity homes) was fine -- nothing special -- but that's not the point. We're locals who intentionally tried to spend the day as tourists, and this experience made it painfully clear how miserable this must be for out-of-towners who don't know better. Disorganized, misleading, and careless with customers' time and money. Miami deserves better than operations like this -- and tourists definitely do.

We thoroughly enjoyed this one, especially with Will, the narrator of the tour. He gave grear info, made some really good stops and took us to a bakery where we enjoyed some really good Cuban coffee and got some treats that were actually priced reasonably. He also took us to take some pictures of the skyline, which was beautiful. Will was exceptionally funny, friendly and knowledgeable the entire ride. He really made the tour worth it. The bus is air conditioned, which was huge for us because we had already been on that other scorching bus the day before with no guided tour. My husband loves the information with the tour because he loves to learn about the history. I would recommend this tour to everyone!!!

Truly disappointing!!! Very rude person now and truly a scam!!!!…read more Prior to booking this excursion, I read everything included. It gave an overview that states maximum time in Miami with a city tour double Dekker bus, travel with ease between Miami neighborhoods and see Little Havana, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and more. That alone attracted me to this tour under the what to expect it, says Miami Beach Miami, Brickell, City center, Lincoln Rd., Little Havana, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Once I booked it as well as in the description under meeting and pick up, it gave an address of 305 Lincoln Rd. this address is a building that has a sign that indicates they're under construction with no construction going on in a looked like a perfectly set up establishment just missing chairs for the clients to sit. Also, it says the endpoint of the activity ends back at the meeting point this here was clearly a lie as our endpoint did not take us back to the meeting point and I was forced to take an Uber back to my hotel. When I arrive to the new address which was 385 Lincoln Rd. it was a limited small called the luggage office and booking tours with several employees who barely spoke English and were very rude when I asked for details of the tour. Once we arrived at 305 Lincoln Road. There were several signs indicating to call in number if you had an appointment contacted the number and the Lady indicated there was a driver with a shuttle in a that would bring us over. The two gentlemen in the shirts of your travel company told me I needed to walk over there and left and the shuttle bus. She had to send those gentlemen back over to pick us up. Once on the shuttle, they are signs posted that tips are a must stating five dollars is appreciated. Why would I tip when you provided horrible customer service in the first place? Once we arrive to the starting point , there was no indication on what bus to take as two buses showed up, and each tour was given a sticker color-coded to what they were taking. The tour did not follow what was expected as offered the tour went over to the design district, the. Wynhood, Little Havana, through a small two block radius of downtown, and stopped at Bayside. Length of tour was 2 hours approximately, once we arrived at Bayside, I asked why the bus was not Raleigh us back to start point as indicated and the rude tour guide started speaking Spanish and walked off. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD NEVER USE THOSE CORRUPT CROOKS AGAIN. I'm going to reach out to the BBB as well!!!

Traffic in Miami can be busy and something a few miles away could take 20 minutes to travel to so choose your stops wisely. We started the trip at the bayside shopping area. The salesman explained each stop so we had a plan before getting on the bus. The buses were packed and we had to sit downstairs with no air conditioning to go to the first stop. Luckily it only took about 10 minutes. We got off by the beach and enjoyed walking along the boardwalk then spending a half hour on the beach before finishing our walk to the second stop. They say the buses come every 30 minutes and we always seemed to wait 15 or 20 minutes before the bus came. Stops were easy to find with little red signs. We then took the bus to little Havana and enjoyed lunch there. It was fun to drive by the other locations but with the timing we did not have enough time to get off and explore to be in the right area around lunch. They give you headsets that let you listen to facts and information about Miami. Overall the experience is what you make it.

After we got back on land we headed back to the original embarkation point and took a nice ride down Ocean Drive. The tour guide had a lot of great recommendations about where to eat! Our tour guide was really great and funny. She told us to call her Sara if we didn't like the tour but now I can't think of her real name! Some of the jokes were a bit corny but it's definitely more of a family tour kind of thing, take the kids. The music was a good level, not too loud like some of the other reviews complained. I really liked sailing around on the water so just that alone was enough for me. The price was really quite excellent as well. We bought our tickets the day of and only paid about $22 a piece!
