Drop off at hotel was not at the hotel but almost 2 blocks away and instruction was to go left when we actually had to go right. Being strangers we could easily have got lost. I enjoyed Key West. I recommend that you take a bus from Miami to Key West because we can enjoy Everglade and the overseas highway. Everglade was huge. It took one hour to get out of Everglade. We could not see any Alligators or animals. It was still okay. The tour guide told me about one of UNESCO: 's World Heritage sites. Overseas:s highway was amazing. The highway should be one of the seven wonders in the United States. It was raining. But it was still okay. We had around 5 hours in Key West. You may use a trolley. But U used a bike. There are a couple of rental bike shops on the island. I could visit Truman's Little White House, Hemingway's residence, Fort Zachary Taylor, and Southernmost Point. The trip to Miami was comfortable, I could sleep. I could use a bathroom inside the bus. Overall, this was a reasonable trip. I loved Key West! read more

A suboptimal experience. Firstly, let me say the weather was not the best so that impacted the extra option I picked (glass bottom boat) but how the tour group managed the cancellation was extremely poor. I enjoyed Key West and no complaints there. Here were the negatives: Bus was in poor condition - chargers were inoperable, inside trim was peeling, seat was lumpy and uncomfortable. I asked my guide whether due to the weather my excursion would be cancelled he said no. When we got to Key West, he gave me vague instructions to get to the glass bottom boat, go to the second traffic light, go right to the end. The second Traffic light was ten blocks away. I was half way there when he called me to tell me my excursion was cancelled. When I called the customer service, It took forever to explain the situation to make sure I got my refund and the operator couldn't grasp what I was saying and kept saying that the tour was already in Key West. Frustrating. The trip back, the operator took on extra passengers and then complained numerous times that he was supposed to have 37 passengers but had 38 and someone had to step forward or he would check everyones name. He wasnt pleasant and was clearly implying that the fault was the african american group that got on the bus. In fact one of the women said why does he keep looking at me. I finally said, just check everyones name and stop going on about it. He did and it turns out it was his error, which he admitted. I was picked up on time at the designated spot. Drop off, bus stopped diagonallyt across the street from the hotel, by a very busy intersection, pitch dart and he said do you know where you are, can you go to your hotel. Pouring rain and I was walking in the dark in the roadway to get to the intersection. Extremely disappointed as I have always gone with Viator on trips and had great experiences. I was more than happy to pay more for a trip, I wasnt going for cheap and if there had been a more expensive option I would have picked it. Got picked up at 7 AM but didn't get to key west until 12:30. Bus was very small and crammed. Hard to understand the tour guide. Didn't explain things very well about what to do when we got there. The ride home was very bumpy, stunk and very hot. Left key west at 6:30 and didn't get back to our hotel until 1115 and half the bus was still full. Booked a trip from Miami to key west. Bus arrived on time, they picked us up at the hotel. Bus is clean, seat is comfortable. It's the double deck bus with toilet. It takes around 4 hours to go from Miami to key west. And it made one stop at the morning for us to get the breakfast. We got 6 hours to stay in key west. The return is nonstop, it goes directly to Miami and then drop you off at the hotel. Our tour guide is nice. read more

We booked this tour through a third party company and the booking part was easy. The tour was reasonably priced and it guaranteed us a Coach bus with A/C and a narrated roundtrip to Key West. Pickup time for our stop was at 6am and we had to walk less then a mile to the pick up area since our hotel was located on Ocean Ave. (There is no car access). The big ol bus was running a little late and we got picked up at 6:10am. The driver came up to meet us and checked off my name on the list. We found two seats upstairs and the bus wasn't quite full. We made about 5 more stops after getting picked up in South Beach and then we were finally able to head out. I was in and out of sleep on the way to Key West. I did hear the tour guide talking over the intercom though letting us all know what landmarks and areas we were passing by. We made one stop at McDonalds and he gave us about 30 minutes to get off and use the bathroom / eat / stretch. He then came around and asked if were wanting to sign up for activities to do in Key West for an additional charge. We decided to pass on this since we wanted to just walk around and see places for ourselves. Once we finally arrived we were set free and we had about 5.5 hours to explore. The time finally came to meet back up and we headed to the same spot we got dropped off at. The bus was already there and we had about 10 minutes to spare. We got on and this is when we encountered that the bus was HOT. It was so muggy and it smelled bad. We figured that maybe the A/C was not on because the bus was idle BUT we were wrong. The whole ride back was hot and muggy. We literally felt like a bunch of sardines in a can, it was so uncomfortable. The guy sitting behind me was angry and would not stop complaining but instead of saying something to the bus driver, he just kept telling his friend. During the ride back there were no stops so we just dealt with it and the ride back was and felt sooooooooo long. Finally in the Miami area, we did the same stops we did in the AM and ours was about the 6th stop. We bolted out of there and we were surprised to see that the weather was nice outside with a NICE COLD breeze.. why didn't they just pop open a window :/ Everything about this tour was good expect the ride back. price was good. be aware that there are no overhead storage to keep backpacks and purchases. seats are very tight. excellent bus driver and person doing announcements very knowledgeable and spoke many languages. very dirty floors and do not put your arms on the window sills. don't think they were cleaned for ages. instructions were clearly given to return to bus before 1720. certain individuals arrived 15 minutes late and the bus stayed an extra 10 minutes for individuals who never showed up and we finally left them behind. not fair to those who arrived on time. surely this company can provide small water bottles to their client upon departure from Key West. read more

This was the worst tour that I have took coming back from Key West to Fort Lauderdale on a two-story bus with no air conditioning no ventilation on the second floor. People were coughing, having asthma attacks and getting sick over the heat. That's when the tour guide finally came to the second floor and announced that it would be too long of a wait if we stop and waited for a second bus to come oick us up so that we needed to hold tight until we arrive in Miami. for the amount that this tour cost This was very much disappointing. I do not recommend this at all. The previous reviews There has been numerous complaints of no air conditioning in the bus, but as much money as they make per person you would think that situation was fixed. Our tour guide Luis or Louis was amazing. He was so friendly and professional, and went out of his way to help people and was very knowledgeable at the time that we went. They were still having a brushfire in the keys so he kept us abreast of what was going on. We did not have any problems at all, but two days earlier there had been delays. He said whatever time we got to Key West. We would have six hours there. I remember thinking what are we gonna do for six hours but we did the trolley had on which went all over the Key West island and you could hop on and hop off and ride it all day and we added on the glass bottom boat that took you out to the reef, which is the third largest in the world. And we learned so much and saw quite a few fish anyway I would request Luis again. for sure to give you an idea of how above and beyond he was I had a transfer chair which is like a wheelchair with things to rest your feet on and one head come off in the bus and I hadn't realized it and he ran to where our excursion was we'd already left on the boat, but he put it on my chair for me! It was like 3 miles also just so you know he takes Venmo you just have to ask him because we did not have much cash on us as it was the end of our trip. read more

It was a great value for the money. I would recommend it and I would take the trip again. Our tour guide Luis was the best. The driver Manny was a professional driver ( doing the speed limit, no hard breaking, smooth driver, respected all rules of the road, made me feel safe). Luis (our tour guide) was extraordinary. I simply don't know where he gets all the energy. I watched him keep a bus load of people from every corner of the earth happy and satisfied. He connected with every passenger and made us feel special, called everyone by name, remembered all our details specific to the trip. He explained and prepared everyone for what to expect. There were no surprises. He was very knowledgeable about historical itfacts . He has a great sense if humor. He put music on for us. He cleaned the lavatory on the bus between passengers. He gave us very clear instruction on what to do in terms of rest stops and getting back on the bus. He even had chargers for our phones!!!! So thoughtful!! I've never seen a tour guide so dedicated, giving his 110%. Thank you Luis for all you do. You make the world a better place man. Going with the good point of view first. Any day you can spend in Key West and not have to drive back and forth is a fun time. Just sit back and enjoy the views. But I highly doubt we will take this option again, for several reasons. 1. I knew it was about 3.5 hours one way from our starting point in Ft Lauderdale. But when you add in another almost 3 hours on a shuttle bus running around for pickups in Miami, before even getting to the tour bus. So basically 11-12 hours of driving time. I wish the web site tour description helped prepare possible patrons for this longer day. 2. No wi-fi on the bus and over half of the charger ports didn't worked. 3. It was a nice stop about half way down the Keys, southbound for a food and restroom break. It would have been fantastic for the same on the northbound trek. Problems with the onboard restroom on the return trip was a big problem (see #4 for additional info). 4. After an afternoon in Key West, some of which are harder on some than others. Naturally someone will be late getting back to the bus. I wish they would have taken another 5 minutes on the street so they could have gotten sick out there and not on the bus. Basically the restroom was unusable on the entire trip back, the one with no rest stop from above. 5. Luckily we were getting off at the first stop in Miami, which we didn't know until about 15 minutes before when the tour guide announced that. So off the bus and into a shuttle to get us back to the Ft. Lauderdale. Figured we could just ask the driver for a restroom stop where it was easy and convenient. He didn't speak any English and we don't speak Spanish. read more

I was pretty excited for the tour. Things were bright. My family of 4 was seated on a 4 convenience seater. But 1)there was no leg space.... 2) charging points did not work 3) out of 4, 3 seats did not recline 4) tried 2 different seats , one of them cud not get upright n no power in charging points 5) air-conditioner system is very very very poor. It was tremendous hot. We were sweating seated in d bus. 6) ventilation was poor. Felt suffocating 7) NO SHADES FOR THE WINDOWS. being seated by the window felt the continuous burn fm d sun.... 8) I booked a glass bottom tour ....waste of money. My first trip to Key West and it was worst experience ever. Researched several companies and this seemed the best to me. Not was I wrong and it started from moment we boarded bus. My husband and my two friends. It wasn't the pristine comfy coach white bus that is advertised as that bus had tranny problem. The one that was CHOSEN by your company had AC issues. Too cold we were told with no climate control was announced. Cold wasn't the proper word, I would have been warmer in NY with the blizzard! Towels blankets were distributed. I was given the guide Louis' sweat jacket! I could have cried how cold it got and we had 4 hours ahead of us. McDonalds stop two hours into trip was welcoming but by that stage, AC had been shut off and we sat in sweltering heat, NO VENTILATION! I wasn't certain if I should order iced or hot coffee for the remaining hours. Should have gotten iced as we continued in the no ventilation mode with AC turned back on last 15 before arriving KW. The disastrous trio didn't end there. Boarded bus for return and bus was hot. AC engaged and off we go. 1/2 hour later driver pulled off side of road "to check something out". Continued drive for 5:minutes and pulled over again. Ultimately we were told we would need to transferr onto another bus which was following us...another KW tour double decker bus. All of us boarded that bus which now was filled to capacity (we had approx. 50 passengers in our bus). We were grateful to be rescued and driven back to Miami but by no means was it perfect. Comfortable seating yes but the AC system was taxed by the overload bus. It was warm and windows (upper level) all fogged up. May have been colder on lower level but not certain. It was a VERY long trip! I'm still in awe that this trip was not cancelled and put a great number of individuals both young and old in jeopardy and unhealthy conditions. I would NEVER recommend this bus company for Key West. You chose the mighty buck over passenger safety comfort and experience. SHAME ON YOU! read more

I would not recommend this excursion to anyone who values their time. First, I would like to say that communication was not the best. The shuttle texted and informed us of their ETA to ensure we weren't waiting outside. However, the expectation was to be picked up on the side of the road. We asked if we could be picked up in front of the hotel, and they did. I was confused when the shuttle arrived as the email stated, "Luxury Coach Bus." Upon inquiring, the driver said it would take us to the bus. After an hour-long drive, we made it to the bus located in Miami Beach. When we arrived, we felt rushed and as if we were inconveniencing the driver and the tour guide. One of the passengers had an injury from a recent cruise ship and was on a walker. The bus was not handicapped-friendly. So, if you're disabled, this is not for you. When we entered the bus, it was not a "Luxury Coach Bus." The bus smelled like mildew and looked pretty old. The cloth seats were uncomfortable; for what I thought was a 3-4 hour ride, the seats were not reclining correctly, and you barely have any leg room, so if you're a tall or heavy person, guess what... this is not for you. As we attempted to get comfortable, we realized the bus was making several stops and picking up more people. So, to make matters worse, what was supposed to be a 3-hour drive became a 6-hour drive. We were not aware of the local bound pick-ups. We stopped for breakfast at a Macdonald's which was good but you only have 20 min and the bathroom line alone took 20 min. Everyone used the restroom as the tour guide advised us. The "Luxury Coach bus" is only suitable for using the restroom if you need to urinate; if you have a bowel movement, you cannot utilize the restroom. So, again if you're someone who goes in the morning, this is not for you. This thought me that I should have taken my car and driven instead of doing this excursion. It was a disappointing experience and on the way back, towards the end upon exiting the bus we were rushed out, the tour guide was rude lnowing we had someone who was handicapped and not able to walk correctly. This was a good trip for the price for me. The bus was clean and comfortable. The driver and guide were great! There were 3 of us from the Comfort Inn on SE 4th Street on this tour. Pick up was by a van that took us to the big bus. There was no place for the big bus to park. However, when we came back, around 9pm, the big bus dropped us off about 2 blocks from our hotel, because the big bus could not park in front of the hotel. We were dropped off in the dark, on a street with no sidewalks and had to dodge traffic to get to our hotel. This was totally unacceptable and put us in a potentially dangerous situation with traffic! The company needs to figure out a better way to drop people off at this particular hotel. read more

I did the Travel to Key West. It was an awesome trip. It was a double decker bus and of course my wife and I sat upstairs. Great views. The bus was older but was comfortable. I noticed there were just about all age groups on the bus. If you want to nap before getting to Key West I suggest you bring a pillow and a small blanket. We did and had a great nap. Since you take the same bus back, just leave your pillow and blanket in the seat. The bus did park just a few blocks from Duval St and that was convenient. And they were there at 5p just as they said they would. One final note, we live local but it was very easy to Uber to a pick-up point. So don't think this is just for tourists. read more

Great communication with the company prior to our trip - they text us the pick-up time based on the location we had chosen (7am) and answered a question about the address of where we would be dropped off in Key West. The tour guide was friendly and very good at communicating about pick up, drop offs, etc. He gave us a bit of history of the area and talked a little about Key West. The bus is in terrible condition, air conditioning does not work, the chairs are uncomfortable, there is no way to charge the phones, the person who was doing the tour, I think his name was Daniel, he made me feel super uncomfortable by asking for a tip, forcing and demanding the tip. They will nickel and dime you, you might get the indecipherable and condescending tour guide we had, and you won't have any real time in Key West to sightsee or even sit down and eat a meal. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this tour! We wanted to visit Key West without having to pay all the transportation fees and so forth. It was really convenient to be picked up from our hotel as well. They did pick us up almost 10 minutes early so we were not quite ready yet. However, he did call and wait a few minutes for us both to gather our stuff together. I suggest being ready way before the time as the pickup time may change depending on the other people being picked up. The bus was nice and comfy as we ended up falling asleep both ways. The tour guide was kind enough to give us an hour to sleep in the morning before he started narrating. We stopped half way for a bathroom/breakfast break in the morning but there is no stop on the way back. It was convenient to be able to book excursions at the Key West through this tour. We got the glass bottom boat tour which was a little disappointing. It was essentially you looking down at just windows at the bottom of the boat from 5 feet above. I have previously been in another glass bottom boat where the entire bottom level was glass and you were able to see things closer up. However, this does not reflect this tour as it was another company providing the boat. Overall, we enjoyed this tour! It is a nice way to get a feel for Key West as you get about 6 hours there. We were able to do some sight seeing, eat lunch, do a 2 hour tour, and souvenir shop within this time frame. However, I feel like there is more to see so I will definitely be coming back to Key West again. read more

Our driver was very friendly, professional, and provided fun facts about the bridges. I liked that this company offered complimentary shuttle service from Margaritaville in Fort Lauderdale. The 6 hour explore time is great but it means missing those picturesque key west sunsets. They offered discounts on fun excursions including snorkeling, parasailing, and jet skiing. As well as a convenient pick up and drop off point. You don't need to pay for the additional hop on/off your as key west has added a free island shuttle service called the Duval Loop that goes to all the hot spots. The bus was clean and had a bathroom. The only things that would improve the experience is power outlets, WiFi, and a stop at Robbie's Tarpon Feeding read more

Key West itself was AMAZING. I didn't have the best or most comfortable experience on the tour bus. The A/C didn't run consistently. There was a person on the back of the bus who coughed constantly to the point customers were asking to change seats. This made it uncomfortable for some of us. The tour guide David definitely almost ruined the experience for me. I wanted to ask him during our breakfast break what were the other transportation options since he mentioned over the speaker that Uber was expensive. I had prepaid for parasailing and wanted to know if the bus will drop us off or will we have to walk? He basically told me that since I did not book with him, I'd have to figure it out. No help whatsoever. I could have easily given him an address and he could have assisted in directions as he stated over the speaker that he knows Key West like the back of his hand. I ended the conversation once he blatantly let me know it wasn't his problem. The second interaction, I wanted to verify the picking up and dropping off location. He took that as an opportunity to belittle me and ask have I been listening, and that he said it over and over that we would meet at location 2. He then yelled out to the rest of the bus in an annoyed way that "again, the drop off and pick up is at location 2"... at this point, I was over this guy with his horrible attitude and tone. He had the nerve to ask for a TIP afterwards, here's a tip.. LOSE THE ATTITUDE OR FIND ANOTHER JOB! read more
