Needed cleaning of my dryer vent. Cloths were taking 2-3 cycles to dry. Called a few places around and they quote me between $40-145. The cheaper ones were too busy to accommodate me the same day. Googled and Yelped the reviews of Miami Vent Pros, and all reviews were awesome. Called Dan, he was very polite, explained the process and what the problem might be, and he even scheduled me for the same day at the last appointment of the day! He brought everything, moved the dryer, and showed me the lint and pet hair right the beginning of the vent. He even went to the attic to check the duct and unclogged it and open it for more air flow. He even checked my ac vents/ducts because i was having problems in one room. He went above and beyond! We had just gotten gotten a new washer and dyer two months and our dryer detected a blockage. I was referred to Miami Vent Pro's by my appliance repair company. I called and told Dan what the problem was and how soon could he come. He was able to come out and and it two hours found the problem. My builder Lenar left a metal grate over the dryer vent on the roof. that should have been removed before I bought the place. I have been leaving here for 6 years. Dan was awesome. I was having issues with having to put the dryer for 2 or 3 cycles to dry one load. Dan answered all my questions and was so nice. Was able to get me an appointment the next day and arrived right on time. Was done in 30 minutes. Dryer is working great now. I tried going with someone cheaper before and it turned out being a waste of money. They didn't unclog anything. Dan was very thorough. I regret going the cheaper route in the first place. Had the service tech come out and clean out our dryer. Before we had to dry a normal load 2-3 times. Now the dryer will dry a full load on the first cycle. Our house had a difficult vent to clean and the tech seemed determine to get the job done on the first try. Great experience with this company. Got an appointment quickly and Dan and his technician arrived a couple minutes early! We have 2 dryers. One was an easy fix, and it's working better than it ever has. The other dryer had lint everywhere when he opened it up, due to a broken piece inside the machine. My dryer started taking forever to dry a load of laundry many months back. I actually waited until now to have someone come out to clean the dryer vent because I knew about the sketchy reputation of most dryer-vent-cleaning companies and just didn't want to deal. When I saw the reviews for Miami Vent Pros on here, I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did because Dan did a great job. He arrived on time and was extremely pleasant and professional. He charged me the price quoted despite the job taking longer than expected (because my dryer was wedged so tightly into a closet that it was nearly impossible to get out), and he vacuumed thoroughly afterwards and left no trace of lint anywhere in my house. Most importantly, my dryer is now drying a load of laundry in a normal amount of time, so I don't have to use a drying rack anymore and don't need to worry about my house catching on fire if I risk drying a load of laundry in the dryer. Our dryer recently broke and since we purchased a new one, we thought it would be a good time to clean the vent. Our house is over 20 years old and we figured that it had never had a thorough cleaning before. We had cleaned what we could reach on occasion, but the entire length of the vent had never been addressed. I called Dan on a Sunday with the intention of leaving a message; I was shocked when he answered the phone. He was very polite and informative and we set up a mid afternoon appointment for a few days later. He arrived early for the appointment and a did a terrific job. He even took the time to give me a few pointers for preventative maintenance and showed me the built up lint he had removed.
