The owner/staff are really friendly and are not shy from coming up to you and sparking a conversation. We ordered the Churrasco, Lechon Asado, and the kid's Deditos de Pollo. The meats were very good. The steak was very flavorful and tender. The lechon asado had good flavor also. Both meat portions were generous. The rice was good, but the tostones were very hard and dry. I wouldn't be surprised if they were made ahead and refried, which absolutely ruined them. They were inedible. The kids chicken nuggets were OK. My daughter had to drown them in ketchup for her to be able to eat, so I'm guessing they were very dry or tastless. We also waited for a very long time for staff to bring us our bill. We waited about 30-40 minutes for anyone to come back to our table to bring our check after we had already finished eating. So, although the staff is very friendly, their customer service could use improving. Overall, our experience was fair. There were some hiccups, but I think it's because it's a small family establishment that still needs to work out the kinks.

The place was packed and with 3 groups of people before me, the food took 40 minutes to be ready. We got the eggplant croquette, cassava fries, sweet plantains and rice and beans with tofu and fried plantain. The croquette were AMAZING! Also, the garlic oil that comes with the fries is absolutely delicious. I wish they offered as a side condiment to add to the rice and beans. Since the rice, beans and tofu, don't have to much flavor. Maybe a little bit of that garlic oil on top of the tofu will make a difference. The portions are just enough for one person that don't eat a lot. The prices are right for the quality of food they offer. I didn't see any deserts on the menu, so I'm not sure if they offer them.
