Its been our new favorite spot to order from. We enjoy the pizzas due to their nice, crispy, thin crust. The sandwiches are quite yummy. They have been doing their very best this last year to adjust to the Covid precautions. Sometimes, I go and pick up and I will see someone cleaning the bar top or table tops. They are doing a great job separating customers and keeping everyone as safe as possible. When we have food delivered, it is the same as eating in at the restaurant. This restaurant is wonderful. Great owners, great service, always friendly, and most of all great food. I've been in Berwyn for 33 years and have been going pretty much all those years. Great deep dish pizza. What I really like about it is that although there's plenty to it, it's not greasy. There's enough cheese, and without it oozing leaving you feel like you ate a brick. They also put a lot of whatever ingrediant you ordered, so you feel like you taste it, and not blobs of cheese. The sauce is not sweet, which I love, because I can't stand sweet sauce at all. I find the crust to be great, because again, it's not greasy. I was happy when I ordered the deep dish the first time and realized it was good. We order pizza from here all the time. I love the super thin crust and that the pizza comes with the cheese browned on top which is my favorite way. My husband loves the pepperoni pizza here because it gets crispy. We also get the soup delivered on occasion and it's always good. I have not been in the restaurant in years so I can't comment on it, but they do send coupons with every pizza which is always appreciated. read more

The pizza is good but slightly overpriced. The pizza doesn't have much substance and isn't really filling. It's almost a tease. Maybe that's their purpose though.Despite that, they offer a buffet during dinner and it's all you can eat. That's great! I used to have meetings in the back area. This is our friendly neighborhood dinner spot. We always go on Wednesdays for the pizza buffet. My husband loves the thin crust and thinks it's the best pizza in the area. The waitress are super friendly and make us feel so welcome. It's a great spot for families because it's always full of kids and the severs seem to enjoy them. The staff must have been smoking doobies every time I've ordered from this place. Either they get the pizza wrong or last time, we asked for carry out and they ended up delivering it. Fixing this problem was actually not that hard but ended up with the driver making 2 trips to our house and my husband returning home with no pizza. The pizza is just okay. the pizzas good, especially if you go on sunday when they have the all you can eat pizza and pasta buffet. its pretty cheap and all you need to do is order sodas. If you want a refill on your soda there is a one time fee of 50 cents and all refills after that are free. Maybe the only complaint I have is the people from the bar can get too drunk and you see them stumbling around to the wash room or a beer garden out back. read more

This place was horrible!! We all placed our order together and the waitress came back twice to ask us what we ordered. Then I receivedy order and ten minutes after that my daughter received her orde then 10 minutes after that the boys got their order then a few minutes later my in laws got theirs. My husband didn't get his dinner until we were all finished. The waitress blamed it on the kitchen. I think everybody who worked there were on crack. To top it off the food was terrible!! Went looking for good pizza after a trip to Brookfield Zoo. This wasn't it. Soft thin crust with bland sauce. Crust had the texture and taste of being premade. Not fresh, made from scratch. Cheese and sausage ok. Staff did a good job. read more

We are residents of Berwyn and are embarrassed to say that we have a resturant such as Micheal Anothony's in our community. The service was terrible, my husband and I waited 15 minutes and the place was completely empty. (It was 10 pm) The waitresses where waiting in the back completely ignoring us, (probably drunk and high) and goofing off with other employees. Finally the bar tender (a young kid) raised both arms up and said "can I help you" as if she was annoyed. We got up and said, "no thanks" and left. You don't want to waste your time and money in a resturant such as this, not only was it an insult to my husband and I but to our community. I was will not come back. And from reading the other comments...I can see the food isn't even worth it either. P.S--- Watch your step on the way out. read more

This review is only about the pizza. I don't know anything about the bar part and have only been here twice to pick up a pizza. Sometimes there is nobody at front to tell them I am there to pick up the pizza. However, I will say the pizza is pretty good. I like the pepperoni on it, it has a little bit of spice to it. The atmosphere is the best, very relaxed, and simple. Service here is great. If you grew up in the area like I did then you are bound to bump into an old friend you haven't seen in a while.
