Christina is so sweet, I really like her BUT my second BB with her was a major major fail. I have been doing the BB treatment since 2010 CONSISTENTLY. I know what a good and bad blow out is. I know what products to use and what NOT to do (go swimming in pool/ocean etc). It's been 3 weeks (I contacted her not even two weeks later), and my BB is non-existent. NON-EXISTENT!! They have always lasted 3-4 months and blow-drying should take much less time and the texture should be SMOOTH. My hair is frizzy, not smooth at all and it took me 45 minutes this morning to blow-dry. I contacted Christina last week to tell her what I was experiencing and sadly - she was not willing to even consider that something went wrong. I KNOW BRAZILIAN BLOW-OUTS and how they should leave my hair. The first time I was in her Salon, I spent nearly $160.00 just on products...and I have been using only BB products since 2010. When I contacted Christina about my hair she went through a list of things to tell me that I may have done wrong (not use sulfate free shampoo, pool, beach etc). I explained and explained that none of that happened and that I had JUST had this done with her. First of all, she left the BB product in my hair at the salon for me to wash out 3-4 days after the appointment. I left for a trip a few days after my appointment (which she knew and is why I needed my hair done that weekend) and had just come back. They are supposed to wash your hair several several times before applying the product to open all the cuticles. The first time she washed my hair 3 times, but this last time - I don't remember her doing that....so I asked - could it be possible that my hair wasn't stripped enough to hold the product (THIS IS THE ONLY POSSIBILITY, NOTHING ELSE WOULD EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED). I would have been a loyal customer FOREVER, returning every few months. There is no way-no how that a new blowout should be this way, if she cared at all about customer satisfaction & her quality of work, she should have at least looked and felt my hair. But instead, she kindly evaded all responsibility. So sadly, I won't be returning. My sister was about to make an appointment for her 2nd BB but not anymore (she couldn't even tell that I had a blowout!). I certainly cannot and will not recommend this salon to my Yelp Friends & Followers. One last thing...this wasn't a big deal at the time but she was so rough with me when she was putting my apron on that she broke my necklace. At the time, I didn't want her to feel badly and it wasn't an expensive piece of jewelry but now I see that as just another contributing factor to her negligence.

Applied it to my dry hair and had me come in the next day for a cut. His haircutting technique is very different than what I've had in the past. The end result was awesome, I almost fainted when 3 inches of hair fell in my lap, but the end result was shorter, healthier, bouncier hair and I'm very pleased. I will be back!

Fabulous refresh and renewal from previous stylist! Maranda…read morehas accommodated 2 appointments for me throughout the craziness of first reopen and then after the latest. The first appointment I was desperate to just have my layers fixed from my last cut with previous stylist where I left with a choppy "shelf" on one side & to cover my roots. She left my length and gave my layers the perfect adjustment! I felt like a new human. My second appointment I was ready to get back into my purple color palette but wasn't sure what direction to go so Maranda took the time to walk through her thoughts and show me her color book and I loved the result! Sadly, forgot a photo but I'll include my feeling fresh selfie from the first one. The space is decorated so cute, it's clean and very Covid-comfortable.
