False advertising as an orthodontist however does not actually offer orthodontic treatment.

From the moment we walked in the door we were enamored by all the murals and the game room! What?!…read moreWe only waited a few minutes until both boys were called to the back for cleaning. Miss Rita and Miss Jaye, both dental assistants were just wonderful! Their cleanings were swiftly done and then Dr. Dansie showed up and said they had no problems. This seriously was the quickest dental appointment we have ever had for the boys. Thank you Dr. Dansie for an awesome experience. Clearly both Miss Rita and Miss Jaye are a direct reflection of your work ethics. We have since scheduled their next appointment.

Our family had been patients at The Kids' Dentist for about two years, and until this experience,…read morewe truly loved the office. Two of our children were patients there, which makes this review especially disappointing. After Dr. Dansie presented a treatment plan for our 4-year-old son that included general anesthesia, multiple crowns, and two pulpotomies (baby root canals), we decided to seek a second opinion before proceeding. The second dentist recommended treating the cavities with fillings under local anesthesia and laughing gas, with no crowns or pulpotomies. We found this reassuring and simply wanted to discuss whether a more conservative treatment plan would be appropriate for our son. Over the next month, we called the office at least six times trying to speak directly with Dr. Dansie. We were told he was on vacation. Ten days after our initial request, another dentist left a voicemail offering to answer our questions. We missed the call, and when we called back the next business day, we were once again routed through the front desk. The lack of direct communication resulted in significant miscommunication. We were under the impression that the updated treatment plan would not include crowns, pulpotomies or general anesthesia. We scheduled treatment based on that understanding. Then, just two days before the appointment, we were informed that Dr. Dansie would not be there and another dentist would perform the procedure. At the appointment, the covering dentist planned to complete Dr. Dansie's original treatment plan using crowns and the pulpotomies. The only change in the plan was to use local anesthesia and to complete treatment over multiple visits. I shared that this was not the treatment we believed had been discussed. The dentist refused to modify the treatment plan. For that reason, we left without treatment. Two business days later, Dr. Dansie called and explained that he had never received a message that we had been trying to reach him. By then, it had been over a month since our initial request to speak with him. I shared the same concerns outlined in this review, and he was apologetic and understanding of our decision to leave the practice. We ultimately chose to leave the practice and sought a third opinion. That dentist recommended the most conservative approach of the three opinions we received: fillings only, using laughing gas and laser dentistry, with no crowns or pulpotomies. I understand that dentists can have different treatment philosophies, but the poor communication, last-minute provider change, and confusion surrounding our son's treatment plan caused us to lose confidence in the practice.

Dr. Anderson and her fantastic team accepted us with open arms, and when our baby was 4 days old they did a laser frenectomy. In a matter of minutes our baby girl was able to nurse comfortably. Then it depended on us to make sure we followed through with the instructions given. Three weeks later, our baby is guzzling down Mama's nutrients and gaining weight like a champ. We are so grateful to Harbor Kids' Teeth that we have an infant who is healthy and able to exclusively nurse. Thank you Dr. Anderson and staff!

Everyone there is kind, friendly, and wonderful with children. Our appointment was with Sara, and my son didn't get anxious once. X-rays, cleaning, fluoride, all went well! She is Wonderful!!! The office itself is also perfect for kids! The waiting room looks like a cabin in the woods, and then the exam rooms are decorated by different themes. Super cute! They definitely know their audience! Instead of a "scary doctor's office waiting room", the kids get an inviting experience. I am happy I found this dentist. My son left happy, and wanting to return. And I left happy knowing that it was a positive experience for my son!
