I have had quite a lot of dental work and due to frequent career moves, have had many different dental providers. Finding this practice has been great, the front desk staff is very accommodating, emergencies are treated so kindly and quickly. I cracked a crown the day before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago and they got me in. Regular care and cleaning is smooth, I absolutely love my hygienist, Chalon! They are efficient, comprehensive and DON'T upsell at every opportunity, which I hate. I know love in Tacoma so it is a commit but I have zero plans to change, I will drive the 25 minutes. read more

The staff and dentist were very kind, and I had a good cleaning experience. The office seemed professional. However, I was disappointed to be charged a $60 cancellation fee. Their policy is 24 hours, and I canceled my October 8 appointment by text on October 7 at 4:03 PM for a 4:00 PM appointment the next day -- only three minutes outside the policy window. The office also referenced a February 17, 2025 appointment that was supposedly canceled outside the policy, but the first text communication I ever received from them was dated February 25, 2025, and I never received any reminder or text regarding a February 17 appointment. ^^ I looked back and it looks like I did have an appointment on February 17 that I scheduled via phone call. On Monday, February 16 I was at Swedish hospital with my two young kids who were just diagnosed with flu A. It knocked us out as a family for two weeks! So that is why I did not make my February 17, 2025 appointment. So I guess they did give me a courtesy cancellation.... However it just feels like another dentist office trying to screw people over. Because this office is out-of-network for our insurance, the visit was already fairly expensive. While I truly liked the quality of care, I was disappointed with how the cancellation fee situation was handled. read more

Ive been coming to this office for decades. Everything about it is fabulous. All personnel you encounter are friendly and real people. They have the most up-to-date technology/equipment. Office has a cozy, relaxing vibe. Location is beautiful and easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The dentists that own the practice now are a husband and wife team and have owned it for maybe 10-ish years. They are both extremely talented and gentle dentists. The dentists explain everything in easy-to-understand terms. I like that I can see either one and they share the same style / patient care philosophy. I have no preference who I see. I love that the dentists prioritize family and work/life balance and are closed on Fridays. Love this for the workers and the dentists. But rest assured, if you have a dental emergency on the weekends, they return a call promptly and handle your needs immediately. I cant think of any way for this practice to improve. read more

It had been several years since I received dental care, actually six. My status of working changed to retirement thus changing from a dentist I had seen for many years because of insurance. Add a move to a different state and I was quickly becoming delinquent in pursuing a dentist...well I phoned North Harbor Dentistry and Stacy's friendly, lack of judgment got me in the door. This was a win for me!!!! I had my teeth cleaned and examined and relayed areas of my teeth that concerned me. After returning 3 more times I had received reinforcement composites on teeth that had long since needed the procedure reapplied, a bridge created to help a back tooth that was fracturing from double duty because the tooth in front had been pulled years before. I had been thinking my teeth looked pretty good for a 72 year old and so I let some things go. Wrong thought process...as long as you're still alive the functionality is paramount!!! Dr Justine was and will continue to be my dentist. Very calm, gentle, and efficient! Did I say calm? That's the kind of dentist I need. Her staff were incredible! I sincerely mean that. Kim and Erina worked with me a lot through these procedures. I never felt like another patient, always felt they were in control, appreciated they liked each other working harmoniously and genuinely enjoyed sitting in that exam room being cared for. (The beautiful view from the large window was therapeutic as well.) My teeth are done, I'm happy, and my 6 month cleaning appointment is scheduled...how did I choose this office? I was impressed with the husband and wife dental team here who had extensive experience in the military. Don't wait any longer...good luck! read more

Awful business practice! Both my husband and my in-laws received collections notices for bills they were not aware existed (from 3+ years ago!) This dentist office never attempted to send out bills for what the insurance didn't cover, or inform the patients that there would be any uncovered cost. I have heard from multiple people that this has happened to them from this specific dentist. read more

I have just moved from out of state to Gig Harbor and needed a dentist fast. Went to North Harbor where Justine helped me out with several issues. I can say without a doubt she is the best dentist I have ever had. Besides being just plain good at what she does Justine has a gentle spirit that puts you at ease while maintaining the professionalism I want. She explains what she is doing and more importantly why she is doing it. She gives me options and goes over the pros and cons of each option. She genuinely wants to help. As a patient for over 25 years with their covering basic maintenance/prevention plus a variety of dental issues I was fortunate to stumble on this office when I lived in Longbranch and have continued as a patient even with moves from Tacoma to Sequim and now to Olalla.
