My daughter was seen February 2024 and was immediately told she needed braces. Xrays were taken…read moreand she had rubber band spacers placed all at the initial consult. We returned a few days later only to find that the provider had placed the spacer on the WRONG SIDE of her mouth. Needless to say, we were not pleased that she had to go through several days of discomfort for nothing. We immediately decided that we would get care elsewhere. The office told us there would be no NO CHARGES for her care. They "pretended" to be sorry for their mistake. Although I was still upset about the mistake, I felt the solution was adequate. For all my other dental visits, my insurance was billed within a few days and I have never waited more than 2 weeks after a dental visit to get a dental claim fully processed. In this case, the office submitted a claim 6 months after the visit and the insurance paid the office over $400 for "consultation" and xrays. I find it shady that the claim was submitted so many months after the visit. It makes me feel like they waited until we forgot about them. My fault I didn't notice this at the time because we had moved on to a different orthodontist (Dr. Schlicher--who is amazing and didn't even feel my daughter needed to have braces right away and has just been monitoring her for the past 2 years WITHOUT CHARGING US OR OUR INSURANCRE COMPANY! Six stars for him) I was recently looking over dental claims and noticed the 2024 ortho charge. I have $3000 lifetime ortho coverage so this office basically took over 10% of that amount for hurting my child. I called the office to discuss this and the basic answer I got was just to dispute the charges with the insurance company. The person I spoke said "of course we would charge for the xrays". REALLY???? You make a mistake that hurts a child and then wait 6 months and charge for xrays that we will never be able to use? And she then says "oh, we can send you a copy of the xray". Thanks lady...I really need xrays that are two years old because my daughter's mouth has not changed for the past 2 years! When I asked her why the claim was submitted 6 months after the visit, she immediately blamed the insurance company. There have been numerous dental claims submitted for every member of my family and yet this is the only incidence of this type of delay. It's been a long time since I've been this upset. Do not go to this place. They just rush to slap braces on everyone. Did I mention Dr. Schlicher has just been monitoring my daughter FOR NO CHARGE since 2024 and he sees her twice a year. Digest that! I only wish there was an option for ZERO STARS!!!!!

The facility is full of sunshine, sweet professionals, and fun dec. As an adult who already had braces as a teenager, I was not enthused to start the process of having braces a second time. Nonetheless, Dr. Baird made the process of pushing my teeth into the correct place for implants as painless and fast as possible. I was toying between braces and Invisalign, and she recommended regular braces to speed up the process. I'm so glad I listened to her as we were done sooner than expected. I had to make room for two implants in the front so it took about 8 months. Not going to lie, wearing braces was not easy. The practice will supply you with tons of wax so you don't destroy your gums. In the end, it all worked out. Dr. Baird did an excellent job placing the teeth in the correct place, my implant surgeon did a great job inserting the implants, and my cosmetic dentist made me two beautiful teeth. I definitely did my homework looking for my Smile dream team and it was all worth it. I've supplied a few pics of the practice. I really think they did a beautiful job with the place. They use deceptive practices like asking the child in the medical office if they would like to use laughing gas and never tell the parents that such an expensive optional service is being added to the procedure. I will not recommend this place, unless the parent is very careful and asks for each and every detail of all the costs. Taking my child elsewhere as even after giving clear instructions to not use laughing gas, they still asked the child in the room and just charged me later.
