As I have gotten older sometimes convenience out weighs going to the store and facing the frustrations of no electric scooter carts available or the store being out of what I intended to buy. My successful change has been enrolling in the Walmart Plus program and shopping at home online from my local store at Walmart.com The advantages of shopping this way: I place an order online and have the delivery made directly to my door. I don't have to search the store for hard to locate items, the Walmart employer has the tool to find each item. If they were out of the item it gets shipped to me for no extra fee and arrives within several days. The disadvantages of shopping on Walmart.com: I never order perishable items such as meat or produce. Occasionally the employee pulls the wrong item, i.e. can fruit in fruit juice vs .can fruit sugar free but returns are welcome at the Service desk in the store if I really care about the error. I still shop in person in the garden center, or produce but shopping online has saved me alot of gas,time,and frustration.

If you need groceries, go to Kroger!…read more As far as everything else, it's fine enough, just your basic Walmart, but just don't buy food from here. The freezer section is regularly shut down. I once saw them put milk out for clearance on regular unrefrigerated shelves... the produce, and meat always looks meh. If a product bursts in shipping, they don't take time to wipe down the surrounding products and will just place spoiled food covered products on the shelves. I just haven't been impressed.

I'm not sure I've given the clothing a second glance; however, the aisles are full of shoppers. Some favorites to shop for here: throw blankets, pillows, seasonal garden and home decor, kitchen and bathroom organizers, and holiday decor. I find these items are better priced as compared to the big box stores I visit. Finding an associate within the store is rare but they have plenty of cashiers. Don't let the long lines intimidate you from buying. The parking lot is shared with other businesses. The portion near TJ Maxx is frantic!! Keep your head on a swivel and keep young kids close.

I have never been to Dillard's to be measured for a bra before. I'm not sure why I've waited so…read morelong. I took my daughter there to be measured and the experience was very helpful and detailed. The lady who assisted us was thorough in detail about sizes, cup, and proper fitting. I could tell she had been trained in bra fitting. Other places I've been they just use the tape and bring you that size. At Dillard's they asked about preference, they went and selected several bras that would meet our preference and gave advice on each. I was thoroughly pleased with this service. The lady's name began with an A, she appeared to be young adult in age. I hate that I forgot because she was surely nice. I thanked her on the day but I would like to give my kudos here. I went on May 8th around 345/4 if that helps, to the Dillard's in St. Matthews. She did a great job! We ended up leaving with 2 bras and a garment bag to wash them. Now I will say that the prices are very high than what I typically pay. I pray they last awhile.

I was in the deli, getting some meat sliced, a very nice young man was helping me very pleasant very helpful, then a rude human wearing a Walmart vest (name redacted to appease Yelp" walked up. In front of me and another customer she was very rude to the young man that was slicing my meat. Told him in a very rude voice pay attention to what you're doing. You've got other things to be doing, don't be chit chattin. I found this completely unacceptable the young man was slicing my meat asking me how I wanted it being very cordial and providing me with what I considered good service. there was absolutely no reason for her to walk up and interrupt the conversation and be rude. Here's a little advice (name redacted to appease Yelp) if you feel the need to correct an employee why don't you do it in the back instead of doing it in front of customers. It makes the whole situation worse for everyone. And there's no need to be rude, If your having a bad day go home, don't ruin everyone else's day too.

On a recent trip to Atlanta for work, I had a tire lose its tread on the highway. I managed to…read moremake it to this store and have regretted it ever since! It was Sunday so options were limited and, I HAD to replace the tire. All SEEMED well when I left, there was a bit of a shimmy but, it was my first road trip in this vehicle so I didn't think much of it. Made it to Atlanta and parked the car for the two weeks I was there. I had a rental for work and parked next to my truck every night. On the way back, the truck started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway thinking I had a flat. Nothing. Checked the suspension, all looked fine. Tried to go a little bit and the truck just shook. I had it towed to Pep Boys. As the mechanic was pulling it into the garage, another guy came running out, waving his arms, yelling. My wheel, the one THIS WALMART replaced, was ready to fall off. It had two sheared lug posts and the remaining lugs were very ready to go. The wheel had been improperly seated by WALMART I had to pay for the repair AND a hotel for the two days I had to spend waiting on a new wheel. My wheel was ruined, the holes were bored out, making it useless. Not to mention the HUGE SAFETY RISK this put me in. Pep Boys got me all fixed up and back on the road. When I stopped at this location to see about them reimbursing me for the repairs, replacement wheel and lost days, they offered me $350. About a third of my total out of pocket. I told them that was unacceptable and we filled out the claim paperwork. Their claims guy called, I explained what had happened and he said he'd look into it. I have a job. A pretty good job. I was not looking to rip them off, I don't need to. I wasn't doing a "slip and fall" wanting them to buy me a house. I got REMARKABLY BAD SERVICE THAT COULD HAVE(luckily it didn't) KILLED ME!! I wanted them to make it right. That is all. I didn't ask for ANYTHING. I would have settled for just my out of pocket but, the video showed the guy torquing the lugs so, NOTHING. They claim NO FAULT AND I AM OUT ALMOST $1200!?! Needless to say, I am in the process of suing them now. If you mess up to the degree they did, SOMEBODY has to make it right. Especially when all that is being asked is what it cost me to repair YOUR BAD SERVICE!!

I didn't really notice any higher end brand names, but maybe I am out of the loop. The prices seemed ridiculous, but then affordable with all the steep sales. Shopping gave me anxiety because I didn't know what I could actually afford to buy. I grabbed a cute outfit for my daughter and it was listed at $69!!! For pants and a blouse! But then was 60% off at $27. More affordable but really still a bit pricey. I would probably shop there again but not regularly. The bathrooms were terrible. Some weird stuff all over the doors, the paper towel dispensers were broken. The toilet paper dispenser was broken and the dust on the vent had to be an inch thick. The prices Vs that bathroom did not match up.

I felt some prices were a bit much but online others were somewhat comparable on most items. It is finer or collectibles so your getting what your willing to spend.
