Dr. Okayama has a light hand. I didn't feel much when he numb my gum. He was so gentle that made my fear go away. I'm really scared of seeing the dentist sine I was a kid. I don't like the noise of the machine. But doctor Okayama made me feel less scared . He kept asking me if I'm doing Ok, how do I feel, is it hurt while in the procedure. (I have sensitive teeth). Everything came out good I will come back for the routine check up & cleaning. All employees are nice and friendly. Big parking lot

The hygienist took 30 minutes and did not do a deep cleaning. She used a water tool and scraped for less than 15 minutes. I addressed this with the hygienist and she said I wasn't scheduled for a deep cleaning today and also that my teeth were "fine" so this was the end of my session. Previously at my initial cleaning, the hygienist said preferred to use the water tool over hand scraping as it hurt her hand. Today I felt a bit of callousness from the hygienist and figured she didn't like to scrape, hence she never asked me how I was doing during the cleaning or checked on my comfort level. Now I see she was annoyed that she had to scrape my teeth when she thought I did not have an appointment. I made this appointment at my last cleaning and was told that Wednesdays are best if I wanted to be treated by the hygienist. I cleared my work schedule for an hour and a half today so I could get a true cleaning at 9am. The office staff (lady) was kind, very apologetic and wanted to correct this, but there was nothing to resolve. If there was an error with this appointment, then I should have been told this when I checked in and should have been told that I was not going to receive a deep cleaning. The staff also did not make me pay the co-pay as it was not a deep cleaning. The staff overall are kind and warm, but I won't be going back to this office.

Dr. Clark explained everything in detail and made sure I understood what he was saying! I like that! He was oh so professional and sure knows what he is talking about. He will be me and my family's Dentist forever! I told him of my husband's cancer and he shared with me about a person who had almost identical looking cancer in the same spot. He gave me hope for my husband being healed like that person was. He shared no personal information about that person but I have hope that my husband will be healed. He is a believer in Jesus and I trust him implicitly! He gave me hope, information, kindness, and a feeling of security. Thank you God for this Dentist! His office is very clean and very, very sanitary. They take every precaution there which I like. Oh and another Dentist there whose name is Doctor Jay has a support dog named Snoopy for the patients. It doesn't matter if you see Dr. Clark or Dr. Jay Snoopy is available for both Doctors., They give you his treats to give to Snoopy and he does tricks for you! While the procedure is being done Snoopy will lay on your lap if you want him too. Dr. Jay is very warm, charming, and professional. He came over to us and introduced himself to us along with Snoopy. He chatted with us awhile and I like him a lot! Then there is Natasha, don't you just love her name? She is Dr. Clark's Dental Assistant and she is wonderful! She is very gentle and you feel like you have known her your entire life! She took an X-ray of one of my teeth that had been giving me pain. Since I have a gagging reflex she had another Assistant help her by pushing the button on the X-ray machine while she inserted the X-ray. Therefore it was in such a small time that my gagging reflex did not kick in. Natasha is thoughtful, accommodating and gentle. I like her. She is down to earth. She cleans all the instruments right after use too. She sanitizes them. The office girls are outstanding. They are accurate in their job and ensure their Doctor's have no worries about anything. There is Kimberly who makes sure her office runs smoothly. She is very personable and has the patience of a Saint. She really works with you and she appears to be a multitasker. I swear she has octopus hands doing many things at once . She does her work very well. Carolina is so sweet. We wanted to see Snoopy and she brought him to us and she came with snacks for us to feed him. Shortly after was when we met Dr. Jay that brought Snoopy back for us to see. I love this office and the people who work in it. You will too. They take ALL PPO's. You'll always have a beautiful smile on your face with Dr. Clark & Dr. Jay keeping your smile bright! They have invisalighn there as well.

This entire office is the definition of professional, welcoming, and consistently high‑quality care. Dr. Vakilian is skilled, gentle, and incredibly thorough. She takes the time to explain everything and makes you feel completely at ease. Brenda, the Office Manager, keeps the place running flawlessly and is always warm and organized. Lucy, the Fiscal Specialist, makes the financial side simple and transparent, which I really appreciate. And the hygienists, Maria and Shams, are fantastic. They are friendly, meticulous, and genuinely committed to patient comfort. Every visit reinforces why we have all stayed with this practice since they opened. They are a team that clearly cares about their patients and takes pride in their work. We highly recommend Valencia Dental Office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

I do not use my exact name on review sites because I want to be able to leave honest feedback without fear of reprisal. There also appear to be other people here who went through an experience similar to mine. In my case, the additional treatments that were recommended were later determined to be completely unnecessary by an oral surgeon and a dentist. The experience below is accurate and reflects my personal encounter with this office. I rarely feel this moved to leave negative reviews, but this experience was so upsetting that I still think about it a year later. In May/June 2025, I developed a very painful cavity in an upper wisdom tooth. The tooth was difficult to reach with a toothbrush and floss, and I knew it was finally time to have it removed. I was in significant pain and was looking for a dentist in the Santa Clarita Valley who could see me quickly and handle a difficult extraction. I was able to get an immediate appointment with Dr. Noisha. Upon arriving, I found the office to be quite worn, and the treatment room appeared dated and not particularly clean or well maintained. The X-ray tech came in and without a word at all telling me what she was doing, proceeded to X-ray my entire mouth. This was unnecessary and I wish I had spoken up. I was there only for the wisdom tooth. I explained that I was in pain and needed help with the wisdom tooth. Instead of focusing on the issue that brought me in, Dr. Noisha began examining my teeth and immediately told me that fillings had chipped and fallen out, that I had severe gum recession, and that I was experiencing bone loss. She informed me that I would need extensive periodontal treatment, including deep cleaning below the gum line, cutting and stitching the gums, and possibly bone grafting. This was shocking to hear. In more than 50 years of dental care, no dentist had ever suggested anything remotely like this. I take very good care of my teeth and had never been told I had serious periodontal disease. Meanwhile, the painful wisdom tooth that brought me into the office seemed almost like an afterthought. Dr. Noisha briefly stated that she could extract it, then continued measuring my gums. I eventually had to stop the exam and explain that I was there because I was in pain and did not have time for a full consultation on extensive dental work. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was given a treatment plan with costs that were extraordinarily high for the wisdom tooth plus the upsell treatments. The one positive thing I can say is that the front office staff were kind, warm, and professional throughout the visit. Needless to say, I did not return. A short time later, I discovered that Dr. Scaramella, who had successfully removed my lower wisdom teeth approximately 25 years earlier, was still practicing. He extracted the tooth without issue. When I told him what I had been told at this appointment, he informed me that aside from a couple of chipped fillings, my gums were in excellent condition and that there was no bone loss. Since my longtime dentist in Encino had retired, I also established care with Dr. Sun on Lyons Avenue. She replaced the chipped fillings and performed a cleaning. Her assessment was even more reassuring. She told me I had "the gums of someone 25 years younger" and found no evidence of bone loss whatsoever. Two independent dental professionals, both of whom I trust, completely contradicted the alarming diagnosis I received at this office. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone who is advised to undergo extensive periodontal treatment here to obtain a second opinion before proceeding. I am grateful that I did. What should have been a straightforward visit for a painful wisdom tooth left me anxious, upset, and questioning the health of my teeth for weeks afterward. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.
