Shows up one hour past the scheduled time...it happens, I understand, but maybe you should at least apologize and give me a heads up? Apologizing after I call you out is not comforting. Very nice in person, Takes measurements and discusses. This was a Friday, so I understand we might not get the estimate soon. I'm told, if not this weekend, I'll get it to you by Monday eod. No worries, that's reasonable. Heck, it can be any day, just do what you promise. Monday nothing. Tuesday nothing. Call Wednesday. Says I'm really busy, No apology until I call them out on what they promised. I didn't set the expectation, they did. I tell them, if we don't even have a contract and you're being like this, what am I to expect? Next day, I get a text about the room to be done, is it upstairs or downstairs, and the bathroom, is it being done? I'm totally confused, we never spoke about a bathroom and the room is upstairs. I get the quote finally. It's ~$30k more than another quote I got from a 5 star Yelp business. WTH. Looking deeper into the quote, it's talking about terracota tile and grout...we never spoke about that, we spoke what I already have downstairs, which is laminate. They even stated, that's a manufactured piece we can't get anymore but we can get something close to match. Don't always believe Yelp reviews, but I'd believe this one.

We got rid of the wall to wall carpeting and now have exquisite wood floors that have transformed the room and added so much beauty to our Mid Century house. We can't recommend them highly enough. It needed the sand REPLACED after the power washing washed it away. The labor men were just doing what they were told: power wash, seal and paint. Period. I'm an interior designer in Santa Barbara and I've used a Renga Flooring on a number of commercial and residential projects. They have exceeded my expectations and have made my job so much easier. The entire Renga team has been so wonderful to work with; very organized, reasonably priced, and extremely responsive. Full disclosure, I am a perfectionist and some might call me a "high maintenance" client. I always request lots of samples for my clients to review and I usually need them yesterday. In addition, I expect a perfect install. Mike and his team have gone above and beyond to make sure my clients and I are happy, and as a result I continue to use them on my projects. It saddens me to see the reviews posted for Renga Flooring. I know people have issues, but Renga has been amazing. Not only to me, but others in the community. I hope those who have been customers share their experiences because they are not deserving of a 1 star. (PS..the contract issue in the 2012 review is null and incorrect. The customer is clearly mistaken). My experience with Renga was more than wonderful! I'm renovating a condo I'm returning to after a year and out of all the people I contracted with, Renga was seamless, professional, and amazingly kind. I've used other carpet companies in town but now that I've experienced Renga, I won't go anywhere else. read more

We worked with Mike to years ago when Renga Flooring installed our carpeting. Every part of the process went smoothly, and we were happy with the installation and appearance. We recently worked with Mike again, when we had hardwood flooring installed. He was very helpful in the showroom, and Nico was thorough and professional when he came to our home to take measurements. Dennis and the installation crew did an excellent job. There were a couple of glitches with the flooring and baseboard products. I had Lisa do my windows last year and now Mike handled my carpet most recently. Mike helped me pick out and choose custom floors they installed after a flood. This was a tuff time for us and he made it very easy. With how picky we were, and not knowing exactly what we wanted he was very patient in showing us all the options. We ended up choosing custom oak floors from a mill directly. After they installed, stained and finished we were blown away by the quality. Now 2 years later they are just as beautiful and look like they will continue to be. Bruce from SBHF worked with us to get it taken care of at a very reasonable price. We had a box of the original flooring, but they had to custom mill part of the replacement material. They did a beautiful, artful job of handcrafting the wood to match our lovely original 1957 oak floors and making them perfect. Even more recently they put in a wood floor in our converted garage bedroom. We got rid of the wall to wall carpeting and now have exquisite wood floors that have transformed the room and added so much beauty to our Mid Century house. We can't recommend them highly enough. Doug, the owner is a great and knowledgable man and Carlos and Tyler are artists and craftsmen who did a perfect job. So happy.

It was promise about 6 weeks. Guess what? It's February 20, 2021!!! I have constantly texting, calling his cell and work with no response! Very bad business etiquette and business practice.
