Frank has been this lady's hair stylist for years. The tiny shop has down-home charm. The mostly men down to little boys are welcomed by name. The wait time, if any, is short. Need to make a second visit to give a real opinion, but what started out as a boring experience was made nice when it came time pay. I saw at payment time that they only accept cash or check and I had neither. I have been getting my haircut here for years! Great place with great barbers. Always feels like a Cheers welcome, when you come in as everyone knows your name not just your barber. And to have a barber actually still put shaving cream on your neck/sideburns and clean up with a razor blade is a hard find and a great reason I have always came back to Michaels. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a short men's haircut. Sides and back are all crooked, he didn't even bother showing me the back probably because he realized it was a terrible haircut. I trusted yelp with the almost 5 star rating, but honestly it's pretty bad. No one said anything as I was leaving, no one offered me any of these supposedly complimentary beverages. I tried to tell him about how to improve, he got defensive, and man I just wanted a less ugly haircut. Supercuts or my wife who has never gotten any training will cut your hair better. The ambiance however, does give the impression of a decent hair cutting place, but it was just about the worst hair cut of my life, including ones I"ve given myself, and I had to let people know. read more
