Well we got what we wanted but the price went up and then we started to notice the imperfections here and there. Then one night we heard a crash and glass shattering. Turns out the the new shelves that where being held in with pins came loose from the wall and all my family picture frames broke, and I lost a blue glass candy dish that we inherited from my husbands grandmother. I was angry, and heartbroken!! At that moment we where done. So I reached out to Jeremy again, and told him the situation. Jeremy came to our home and gave us another bid. However this time it was to repair the multiple issues we had with the media wall, as well as some other home improvements like, a new side garage door installed, master bathroom door reversed entry, drywall repair, moulding repair, paint, and building NEW THICKER SHELVES !!! To say we absolutely love our media wall is an understatement !! We can not thank Jeremy enough!! and we plan to see him again for phase 2 of renovations. Actually make that for anything we will need in the future!! I highly recommend Jeremy and his crew because they do excellent work. In fact when our son came over, and saw all of the work Jeremy and his crew did, and the quality they put into their work, he decided to have Jeremy do his home repairs as well. Thank you Jeremy !!!

I manage over 25 LTR & STR properties and was hopeful that I might have found my go-to company based on the recommendations I received for AZ Maintenance. I received quotes for work to be done on 2 properties. Not a huge job ($3000) but a solid variety of tasks that allowed me to see if this is an experienced company that can do the jobs well and reliably (installing ceiling fans, bathroom exhaust fans, weather-stripping exterior doors, tightening a few loose toilets). They said that it would take 4 days to complete our job. So I waited 3 weeks until they could scheduled us in. At the end of the 4 days, this was what was completed: 1 ceiling fan installed in a bedroom. Nothing else. 4 days to install a ceiling fan? The injury to insult was the total lack of communication from the office. Not one single email, text or phone call after I left multiple messages as to what the status of our job was. We had tenants moving in the following week so I sent an detailed email to cancel and explained what went so terribly wrong with this job. No reply. Just an invoice for the 1 ceiling fan. I found a different handyman who singlehandedly completed the entire scope of work in 2 days! without complaint or fanfare and $840 cheaper. He is now my go-to guy for all my repairs and remodeling jobs.

The shower pan was installed with no liner....that's literally bathroom construction 101. Which means I'm going to have to rip out both shower pans and have them redone costing me thousands of dollars and delaying me renting out the property. Stay the hell away from Russ. This guy is a straight-up con artist who steals and leaves a trail of destruction and unpaid bills. The work he did/subbed out on my shower was a complete joke. It's leaking through the floor pan, rotting the baseboards, drywall, and flooring. I had to chase Russ down just to get the subcontractor's contact info--(don't forget, I paid half of the shower cost direct to the subcontractor when it was already in the budget and was Russ's responsibility but I needed the job done). Russ blew all the money I gave him and it was NOT on my job because he barely bought anything. When I finally called the subcontractor, he told me Russ NEVER paid him the other half--what a shock. The subcontractor promised to get back to me in a week, then promptly disconnected his phone. And I'm sure you can guess Russ quit answering my calls and texts. So not only did Russ steal money from me, but he also ripped off his own subcontractor and left me with a total mess. Russ is the definition of a crook. He'll leave you with unfinished work, unpaid contractors, and a pile of garbage that costs you even more to fix. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Worst experience ever.

I called Dror, he asked me to send a photo; we later got on FaceTime and he guided me through the steps to replace it with the new one I had on hand. After I inevitably ran into problems -- mostly due to my house apparently not being built to code -- Dror came over and saved the day. As he was heading out, I let Dror know that I would gladly call him again for my many household projects that need a real professional.

I needed two side light screens. The contractor was very courteous and friendly. He arrived at…read morenoon and worked until after 8. It was dark when he left but the next day I was very disappointed in the way it looked. He had to put a brace in the middle but they are not the same height. He said the frame was a little scuffed but actually it was a lot scuffed. I had new screens because the old set up let one of my cats out. He put these clips on to hold the screen but drilled extra holes at each spot. He also drilled the holes to large. I came home today and the entire bottom was loose, and the clip was on the concrete. The ones that are in are 1/8 into the wood maybe a hair more. Needless to say we have to drill a third hole and go get screws that are long enough to stay in. For $450.00 it is a huge disappointment. We are getting ready to paint. I was going to let it go but it is a month later and WE are having to fix the issues.

In the last 24 months I've needed to hire a building contractor twice. This last time was…read moreespecially stressful because it came after a leak with mold remediation. After hiring a contractor for that (remediation) and having a third party independent testing company test, to be sure the mold was gone, I was ready to rebuild. I interviewed 3 contractors, (one recommended by the remediation company and 2 others I found on my own). To be honest this whole process is not fun, in short, it's homeowners hell. Quentin and Urban Elements stood out above the other 2 contractors for the following reasons: Quick and professional response. He answered all my questions, when I asked about something he had missed (my wall was down to the wall studs and covered in plastic so it was hard to see), he took another look and had an answer within 24 hours. One of the contractors I did NOT hire didn't even know his ROC#, and took days just to let me know his company's license number. In addition the communication was great and Quentin was always available by text and responded quickly. When I did sign with Urban Elements the contract was clear: timeline, payment schedule and completion. They adhered to everything in writing. (Contrast that to a contractor who wanted me to agree to abide by the laws of Texas, when I live in Arizona.) Additionally Quentin assured me that every subcontractor who worked on my house would be licensed. There were several subcontractors and everyone who came, was a true pro, they showed up on time, were respectful and did a great job. I honestly hope I never have to rebuild a room again but Quentin made a truly stressful experience 100% better and I feel fortunate to have found him. Lastly his bids were competitive with the other 2 bids I received.

What i found during this process was price gauging from so many other contractors until i found Quentin from Urban Element. Quentin gave me confidence that he could do the job in under 5 weeks and on budget. Quentin communicated with me weekly and gave me progress reports/photos and never once asked for more money then what we had originally agreed on.
