I have one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Michael's a couple of weeks ago. I brought about six watches in to the store to have the batteries changed out and Tina waited on me.. After Tina wrote up the invoice, she took off to help another client and just left my six watches sitting on the counter. Any customer could've picked up a watch and walked out the door with it. Then about 12 days later, I had to actually call the store to find out if my watches were finished. I've had batteries changed out at the store multiple times. It only takes a day or two to accomplish this.. Tina never had any intention of calling me. They were just sitting on her desk. This is really bad customer service. The day I went to pick up the six watches Tina was not in the shop. My six watches were thrown into a Ziploc bag in a pile on top of each other. I was an aghast when I saw the Ziploc bag with the watches . The way the watches were thrown in the bag the watch faces could've been easily scratched. The woman that waited on me when I picked up the watches was very nice, and she was also upset about the way the way the watches were thrown into the Ziploc bag. She took out each watch and wrapped it in tissue paper for me and then placed it into a Michaels store bag. I've never seen Tina in the store before, but I hope she never waits on me again. This is not good customer service. I've had two other women help me and I've also had a man help me in the store and the experience has always been enjoyable. Tina may have thought these watches were not expensive enough for her to pay any attention to. But there was at least $15,000+ worth of watches sitting in that Ziploc bag. I've had several pieces of my mother's jewelry fixed and repaired, rings resized, clip on earrings made into posts. I've been working with Dori who is so fun and easy to deal with. She has great ideas for custom pieces, very professional and really knows her business. She's made several suggestions that I've loved and caused me to buy more than I thought I would but I'm delighted with everything. Also fairly priced. I got an estimate for fixing a couple rings at another jeweler and the work was done here for much less. read more

I had not noticed this jewelry store before. It is located on the south portion of the shopping center and I am usually on the north side. Today i was intrigued by the name and decided to investigate. I was rather surprised when I arrived at the door. It was fine jewelry that was being offered. Not really my bag but I went in to look anyway. I was a bit skeptical about going in. There is something I do not like when there are no other customers in the place. I noticed a lady headed towards the store and sure enough she was going in. Together we walked into the store. Exquisite jewelry and designs. The sales person was helpful and courteous. The other customer was interested in seeing something so I browsed briefly before departing. A very nice store for precious stones. Large parking lot. read more

This store is amazing. My wife went in to see if they could help with some tarnished jewelry. Dori was amazing. They cleaned them and the items looked like new and she did it with no charge. Dori asked my wife to come back at Christmas. I said Dori should have said, tell your husband to come by at Christmas. Happy wife..happy life. read more

I have had to fix a number of silver bracelets that I had, and even with very little margin they have taken in all my random work and fixed it for me. They stand by their work , fixed up my stuff, and are always cheery when they see me even though I am not buying a lot of new pieces. I recently lost my husband. I had his wedding band but it did not fit on my finger. I went into the store and asked the man (unfortunately I did not get his name) if they had a ring guard for my husbands wedding ring (said with a slight crack in my voice) He said yes, took the ring and went into the back. Upon his return the ring had a guard on it and it fit my finger perfectly, I started to get emotional. I asked how much and he said it was free. I cried and hugged him for his kindness. I left crying... I tell this story because you read the paper and sometimes you worry about people and how they treat each other. Today reinforced that mankind will be okay and that people do look out for each other. This man has no idea how he impacted my day and my life. I am now able to look down at my hand and see my husbands wedding ring and it brings a smile. In the future all my jewelry needs will be fulfilled at this amazing store as in a moment of truth they showed compassion. read more

I have bought 3 pieces now from Michael's Creative Jewelry. I most recently had a pair of Alexandrite earrings made. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Susan at Michael's. Susan was wonderful! She took a genuine interest in the design and also had Michael search for and hand pick the Alexandrite. She was totally transparent throughout the process and communicated every step of the way to make sure everything was exceptional. The quality of Alexandrite that Michael was able to find was stunning. The type of customer service and individual attention my wife and I received from Susan is hard to come by today. She made us feel like friends, not just clients. We are customers for life! I brought in the elderly gentleman that I assist. He had a new watch (not purchased at this retailer) that needed sized and links removed. I called in advance and was told the procedure and price so there wouldn't be any surprises. The male jeweler that serviced us was sooooo accommodating and helpful. He held the door for us, ensured we had a chair, was friendly and took the extra time and detail to ensure the watch was properly sized. He went above and beyond to ensure our first experience was a success !! In addition, he explained the watch doesn't auto adjust the date and advised us that if we returned; they would be more than happy to adjust the date. If I or we have any future needs I would ABSOLUTELY return to this jeweler. read more

Michael's Creative Jewelry is just as it states! The most unique and breathtaking pieces I have seen in a very long time! The location is just beautiful! I was greeted by Susan Johnson. She had a very good eye for what I was looking at...and she simply came over and took the piece out without asking if it was the right one or if I wanted to see it. You shop at your own risk here. Bought a gift here for christmas and when I tried to return they told me no refunds. This was not told to me prior to purchase. They have a little unclear sign in the back that they feel tells you this ..., yep in the back at a counter you will never be shopping at. I told them no one ever told me this prior to purchase and the women who sold me this admitted this to me. Great now I have a large credit after christmas. If you are new to this store you would not know that they do not refund things. They have some great things in this store but remember you are shopping at your own risk cause they like their cash. Bad place to shop; for a gift unless you are SURE the recipient will like it. read more

I went in to have two charms added on to a bracelet .. I knew they would need to be respaced.. I wanted to have this done correctly that is why I chose Michael's .. The woman helping me had me so confused and I know she had no idea what I wanted done.. I have had excellent help before when going there. Not only that she told me my bracelet was considered scrap gold and only worth 200.00 .. The whole bracelet is 14k gold and I have paid more than 200.00 on just one charm.. The last time I was in there they told it the value was almost 3000.00 . I told the owner of my dissatisfaction and she was very pleasant .. They called me right away to pick it up but my charms were not respaced and I specifically asked to have one charm moved over a link and that was not done.. They told me to come back when I could leave it there for a few days .Well that is why I came in there the first place.. My bracelet might not be the top of the line but the sentimental value is priceless . I do still think 14k is top of the line. I paid 50.00 to have two charms soldered on and still didn't get what I came in to have done .. I am very disappointed and doubt I ever go there again .. One bad experience is enough .. I do have to say the help they had before was outstanding and went out of their was to accommodate me . read more
