As of now they get one star as I walked in and saw and heard multiple employees talking and laughing behind the counter. Many of them looked at me but not one person welcomed me to the store or asked if they could help. So after I looked around and made it through the entire place I walked out...... my mom asked me to stop in to look at something she wanted to buy and I wanted to check them out bc they are down the street from my house and I love flower arrangements. I love Michael's Flowers and really aught to have written a review for him earlier. Michael's Flowers did all the flowers for my wedding, (2005). They were simply amazing and my bridal bouquet was hand done by Michael himself. Since then I have always gone to Michael's for all my local floral "needs". I love the fact that they have pre-arranged bouquets for people who want something already done up and also plenty of loose flowers which you can buy "by the stem" for the people (like me) who like to pick out exactly what they want. One of the staff arrange will even arrange them for you with baby's breath, greenery and bright bows.- they have never charged me extra for this. Also, If you need flowers done for a big event you can make payments. I found this very helpful when planning my wedding. They also deliver, but make sure you call with plenty of time in advance for the big holidays. The staff has always been friendly to me, even when it's busy (and I've walked in on them on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day) and if I come in when Michael is working he always takes the time greet me and ask me how I'm doing. read more

I called yesterday for a last minute corsage for my 8yr old daughter. Her school was having Father/daughter Dance at 6pm. Sharon helped me, she knew about the dance and told me there was still time. She asked me the color of her dress and helped me choose the right baby rose color and ribbon. I could see it online so I trusted her... When I saw it it was gorgeous!! 3 baby roses, with Baby breath and some kind of glitter in a box fully decorated... I was so happy!! And needless to say my little one was happier... I ordered flowers for my mom's service. The arrangements were delivered on time and pretty but for the price I would expect more flowers. I wanted the flowers to be beautiful for my mom so we purchased the most expensive piece for her casket, my aunt, father, and myself were disappointed. Unfortunately you are never able to get that moment back. Michael's was highly suggested by the funeral home, I wish I had gone with the florist I knew in Camarillo. read more

Michael's is a long established business in Simi Valley and that was important to us when looking for flowers for the funeral of a dear friend. The staff was very helpful in deciding what to order without "selling" us flowers. We pretty much let them design the display and it was beautiful. The family asked everyone to take a flower in remembrance and we took a beautiful yellow rose on Monday and as I write this I'm looking at a still fresh lovely rose. Stopped by to get a dozen roses for my Wife's Birthday. You would think as a customer you would be treated like one. Not at this flower shop. I am not sure why the lady in the red converse was having such a bad day but asking for a dozen red roses was an inconvenience for her to make up. absolutely beautiful arrangements for my wedding. i wanted pink anthiriums. he did an amazing job. everyone loved the arrangements he made. He brought in the chuppah from the rabbi, set it up and decorated it with flowers. he brought in the color of the chuppah and used the same flowers as on the tables to make sure it all matched. only bad thing, is, some of the flowers fell out of the arrangements. all the arrangements i see at the store are just perfect. he was m ost accomodating and helpful. read more

They created the most beautiful arrangements for the tables and chuppah, and absolutely incredible bouquets. Very disappointed, I bought a corsage boutonnière set for my sons prom this past weekend, he had already purchased the orchid set for his girlfriends prom last month and was now taking her to his prom, I thought something different would be nice, and paid more money for " spray roses" orchid combo when I picked up the set the corsage was VERY SMALL the roses in the corsage were as big as my pinky fingernail!
