Service at this location is Garbage!! Went there to pick up an online order and there was no service person in the front. After taking a walk around to find one to assist me, I ran into an employee at the back of the store. I ask this female attendant if she could assist me, to which she replied, "there should be someone up there." I went back to the front hoping to find another attendant on the way to the register area. After, I arrived back to the front, still, no store employee could be found. A few seconds passed by and a male attendant walked back inside from a smoke break they were taking out in front of the store. He just walked on by didn't even try to acknowledge any of the customers in the front area, which included myself. I looked for my order myself, found it on the floor behind one of the counters, grabbed it and left. I seriously hope management looks into this store and how its ran, because it is not a well ran store. read more

Michaels did not row their boat ashore, and I'm not just taking the Michael when I say that we're not fans of this store at all. Every time Barbi comes to Michael's she ends up leaving disappointed. It's not so much with the service, because there was nothing wrong with the service here specifically, it's just a case of not getting what she needs, or something to that effect, so I will continue to be skeptical of the fact that we should be coming here repeatedly or even at all in the first place, but trust me we will still be coming here. It's just how Barbi is. We didn't love this location but there wasn't anything specifically wrong with it either. She just didn't find 3 of the 4 things we came in for (all crochet related), and the one she did find was too expensive. read more

Really great store. Humble. Good service and the staff treats you like a human. Wow. Nice change! Hats off to the hiring and floor manager! This store is usually well supplied with advertised specials and general items. Be sure to use your Michael's coupon & sign up for Michael's insider deals. Additionally this store is located in a convenient locale adjacent to a Dollar Store, a Super Target, Bath & Body Works & a Party City. Additionally at Ulta & a Pet store. Super convenient spot for Moms on the go. Appreciate the smaller store size of all the retailers, so you don't feel swallowed up in super size box retail. (Know what I mean?) In comparison the NEW Michael's in Sugar Land is glorious BUT. I can never get my coupons online to pull up. The WiFi is bad. It's the whole shopping center. Weird. Anyway not the case here & this store has free WiFi. This place is worth a stop in, you betcha! read more

I have come to this store twice. The first time I was looking for some acrylic paint and the male associate was super helpfully he took his time with me and helped me search for the color I needed. That's the reason for the 3 stars. Now my second time was yesterday 8/31 around 7p. I walked in a hurry so I didn't have time to search for stickers. So I ask the first associate I found to point me in the direction of the stickers. She points and says right here. I thanked her and she didn't even respond with. You're welcome if I can assist you with anything further. So I just laughed to myself. Now what she failed to mention is that stickers are in 2 different sections so I'm scanning the wall and I don't see the kids stickers, so I ask another associate are these the kids stickers or are they in another place. She physically took me to the stickers for the kids. If the first employee would have asked me what kind of Stickers then she could have directed me to the right place. Now moving forward to the checkout! The cashier must have not been in a good mood (not my problem) when you are in customer service you leave your problems at the door. I was in customer service for years so no excuse. When I walk to the register she didn't even speak, so I said well hello and she looked at me and was oh hi. Oh hi what kind of service is this. She proceeds to check me out didn't say thank you have a great day or anything. This location needs to go through the chick-Fli-a customer service school because it is poor. I am big on service as I mentioned I worked customer service for years and was a school teacher for year, which also is a service base business. They need to be trained on thanking and helping customers because without us there would be no store. read more

Extremely frustrated!!! Why during this holiday season with great sales, are there only 2 of 6 registers open, and 22 people plus in line? Mobility impaired persons will find it impossible to navigate through the store, and think you'll find someone on the floor to assist you. Great sales, but poor planning for staffing. Management should know better. read more

My go-to Michaels. It's located in the Super Target plaza with Sam's Club. I like arts and crafts so I like to stop by Michaels when I'm in the area to see what goodies they have. Friendly staff. They got everything you need for your DIYs. During their holiday season, they got really nice deals on cute Christmas gifts. read more

This was my 1st time in this store & I was very pleased. I was looking for a last minute wedding guest book with the pen & card box for a friend's wedding. I found exactly what I was looking for. Both items together was about the same price as a wedding guest book we saw online. I took away 1 star because a few items were out of place. I saws beautiful plant that was on the 90% off section, but it was regular price (didn't look worth the price it was marked for). The smaller card boxes were up on a shelf too high for anyone to reach. When we were able to get assistance, they were extremely dusty. Overall, I will definitely be back. read more

The only michaels around with price scanners!! Cant get enough of this place. Its so creative & I'm so excited its closer to my house. I got my professional licensed framed here and they did a great job helping me pick out the size and what frame and glass to use, I was very happy with that. Abosultley love the scrapbooking area in the middle of the store. Having the price scanners all over the store make it easy for me to check prices so I wont have surprises at the register. Especially when I'm using my coupons :D The staff is extra nice here and the when the line builds up, more help comes to get us all out. Thats got to be a cherry on top! read more

I will never use this location again. Their UPS department absolutely sucks. I cackled multiple times to see if my package was delivered and they said no when it actually was delivered 5 hours ago. After ups never even knocked on my door. They just left a slip and no way to pick up my time sensitive package the day of. I was home all day waiting on it. Then the Michaels didn't even sign the package in so it's been sitting there for hours and them telling me it was no where to be found. Do not recommend UPS or this location. read more

Being in this store makes me happy. It reminds me of one of my past lives as a teacher :) Being crafty is one of my magical powers and where else would you go for your magic supplies!?!? This particular visit was for a project I am starting for my cousin, Chauwie, who is about to bring a new baby girl into this world :) I am making one of my famous Doodlebugs for Lily; so off to Michael's we go! I don't mind the clutter in the walkways so much, they've got lots of STUFF! It's ok! I love their selection of frames, cardstock, stickers and pens! I can never escape without one or two seasonal, yummy smelling candles in my basket! My only complaint? One checker. This makes for sneaking out at my lunch hour to pick up a few items difficult! Came to buy Homecoming Mum supplies for Alief Taylor high school as this is the headquarters for this schools specific ribbons and merchandise. There was no, let me repeat NO Alief Taylor school specific supplies. No other Michaels in the Houston area sells this schools items as I had the staff call the other locations and ask. I have been coming for over 10 years to buy these items and this is ridiculous that there was no supplies at all. I asked who their buyer is and who is responsible for keeping up with the inventory and was told Tiana was in charge but not available. I then overheard one of their staff members say they didn't reorder ANY supplies this year and just put out what was leftover from last year. She then told me if she orders the stuff it would take 2 months to get in. Homecoming is a month away which means it won't be ready for me or ANY OTHER TAYLOR STUDENT. This means that many Taylor students will be disappointed as they will not find the items they need. I am very upset, disappointed and angry that this unprofessional location cannot even inventory their items ahead of time and make sure that they carry the supplies needed for their market. Horrible experience in a nutshell as I was then told to make my own ribbons. Whoever you are Tiana, please know I am contacting your corporate office to complain about your unprofessionalism and inadequacy to perform simple inventory tasks as you were clearly LAZY and just put out what was leftover from last year. read more
