About half of the registers were closed, which already created some confusion. Then an employee loudly yelled at customers to move to another checkout area on the opposite side of the store. I understand that operational issues happen and that employees may need to redirect customers, but there is a respectful way to communicate with people. The tone and manner used felt unnecessary and stressful. I also noticed employees gathering in the hallways, laughing and appearing disorganized. What happens behind the scenes isn't my business, but customers shouldn't feel like they're walking into a chaotic environment.
