What a great craft store, and the art framing is superb !! My wife loves her crafts and always finds what she needs at Michael's.

Incredibly bad customer service in the framing department. The manager was rude and completely unhelpful.

Pretty new to Arizona. Came from Southern California which hosts Frank and Sons ( for those who do…read morenot know what that is, it is a huge warehouse of anime, collection, card vendors). Used to go there quite often to get anime figures and cards and was quite nervous moving to Tucson, until I walked into Otaku Nation. My first visit was last week, but within one week, I have visited 5 times and brought over 5 other individuals that have the same passion I have. The first day I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. It is not every store that the owner puts what he is doing down, stands up, to greet you, and ask you what you're looking for. Jeremy ( sorry if I spelled it wrong), proceeded to develop a personal relationship with me and that is the community we need to encourage. Everyday that I have gone to this store, I have walked away with something. I'm hoping we can make this small shop into something bigger, a community that drives and supports each other. I was able to get my first Digimon TCG box here for a steal compared to what other places are marking them up for. The reason for the low pricse was probably reinforced by the idea of building a group of people that will entertain playing Digimon in this store rather than making a profit. For some of these wonderful core values that this owner has, I will come by week after week to promote this store. Thank you Otaku Nation.

They hold product and spots at events for people who show up to locals. I had to pay extra for a set of op 13 and the cashier said "come to locals and we can give you a discount". I then explained my situation and she replied. "Oh...". I've talked with the owner about what I can do and he is dismissive and unapologetic. The girls who work there are nice but the manager doesn't seem to care about new customers. I finally got off early for the OP17 pre release event, which I signed up for, and was told to leave because the event was full. He mentioned the TCG page had bugged and there was also a lottery I was not aware of. "Try again next time" is an answer I'm quite tired of hearing from their manager. Love the premise of the store and that they give the community a place to play, just wish I could join.

I decided to check out the store, while waiting for an appointment down the street. I was really surprised they put out fall things and it seemed like a third of the store had been cleared away and recently well stocked with fall colors, pumpkin themed objects for the kitchen and for parties. I don't go they're all that often, but it seemed like there was either Christmas or fall things and anything for the summer was nearly gone. There were 2-3 aisles of picked over summer things on clearance for 66% off and all the fall things that look like they just put it out. It's quite overwhelming every time I go to Hobby Lobby. There is just so much to see. I find myself having a hard time, figuring out where things are and customers line up to check out. I didn't really see any staff walking around the store to help. I did pick up some craft thing items that I think that they carry all the time however, after a few minutes, I just wanted to get out of the store and I skedaddled. It did appear that almost everything in the store was discounted significantly, so nothing was the price on the package. It does make one feel like they're getting a deal.

She really needed a private class that could work with her schedule. I was so frustrated that I did not come back for the last two classes. I went to pick up my projects and could not find one of them. No explanation just gone. When teaching a class I have found it works best when everyone is working on the SAME project, and the instructor has examples in stages to show and tell them while doing a walk around checking in with students while the class is working on the SAME project/item. This was not the case everyone was all over the place and there really was no organization to the class plus we did not follow what was stated in the class notes. I feel it was poorly organized, lack of instruction and follow-through. Rebecca was our instructor, she is a kind and thoughtful person who is very knowledgeable, and I think if she changed a few things she could make the classes fantastic. This was a beginner's class, so I sincerely feel they need to be more structured and supervised (walkaround). I would like to note that my mother, husband and I all took the class, and this sentiment was felt by all. To be truthful, due to my experience with this first class I will not be taking another class, sorry but that is how I feel. I took this class to gain some rudimentary techniques, relax, and spend some time with family but instead left with two classes to go due to anxiety and learning NOT MUCH to NOTHING! I am not someone who gives up easily but I felt the frustration and anxiety simply was NOT worth the gain or lack there of.
