While I love Hobby Lobby & find myself there often for random supplies & decor... their customer service is less than impressive. I have yet to go in & have someone working even half smile. While I am often greeted as we walk in, there is never enthusiasm or happiness behind the greeting, & they are never able to help me find items when I can't. This was my first time at Hobby Lobby. My initial impression was overwhelming--the store feels cramped with merchandise stacked too high, almost like a warehouse. When I entered, a group of workers shouted "Welcome in!" toward the entrance, though not to anyone in particular. I came to purchase two yards of fabric for a sewing project. No employee approached me to offer assistance. When I found the fabric section, there were no staff members around except for an elderly woman who was quite rude. She didn't smile, say good morning, or make small talk. When she finished cutting the fabric, she tossed it onto the table rather than handing it to me. She did the same with my receipt, simply tossing it toward the center of the table. These small interactions added up, making me feel unwelcome. I'm left wondering why I shouldn't just buy fabric at Walmart if the customer service and expertise are going to be the same. To make matters worse, the other customers seemed unfriendly as well. Lots of fine things. They've added all kinds of kitchen and bath items. It's starting to look more like a bed Bath and beyond than a hobby lobby. They don't have any vignettes or displays of that type anymore. The lobby is plain with no decor on the furniture and most of the store looks like a warehouse. Horrible customer service. We were searching for several items and asked three different sales people for help. Two told us they didn't sell the items, the other pointed us to a vague location in the store. We were walking in circles unable to find anything. This was my second experience here. I need some clear plastic display stands For fossils and other odd shapes. But no luck here , a couple folding stands That might hold a card or picture. The amount of items for sale that promote Church and good family life were in excess of what I usually see around. I m sure people like it. Covid rules followed here. read more

Hobby Lobby at 6484 N Oracle in Tucson is unbelievably terrible for customer service. I went there to get some stickers for Christmas cards hoping that I can find some. I checked Christmas items section, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I saw some employees working on the floor, so I asked them for help. Unbelievably, nobody was able to point me the right place for Christmas stickers and one of them even said, "I don't work at Christmas items section, I don't know" and that's it! She didn't even try to get someone that might be able to help me. Isn't she supposed to ask someone who might be able to help??? I wanted to ask for a manager but was in a hurry to pick up my son, so I just left the store. I've never had this terrible customer service before and was determined not to shop at hobby lobby especially at this location any more. read more

When I went to Hobbie Lobby I left with more than just my fossil glue. Ernie and I talked for at least 40 minutes before I was personally shown the model glues by young and honest employee Theodore. My hobbit is to find dead animal skeletons and glue them into interesting, unrealistic, art projects. This lead Ernie and my conversation down the path of religion. Normally I love HL in my hometown, but the one on Oracle, not so much. The man working in the framing dept was little to no help and could barely grunt out an answer to my few questions. He seemed very annoyed that there was a customer in the department. The lady at the checkout was slightly nicer, but not much. I am disappointed they no longer offer their 40% off coupon on line. HL I know you can do better. Smile, act like you care about your customer. read more

I went to this store about two weeks ago. I wanted to buy a sitting Santa. I found one but there was no price tag on it. I asked an employee, a young man if he would find the price for me. He left and returned later and said it was $49.99 and was half off so it would be $19 something. He said to tell the check out person what he said the price was and if she had any questions he could tell her. I went to the check out and told the lady what he said. She turned around and requested the price from a guy up front in the store. He yelled back 99.99. I said I did not want it. She apologized. As I was walking away I heard the guy up front say something about that's what we do when they take the tag off! I walked around the store looking for another Santa Kind of in shock. I left the store really surprised about the whole thing. I will never go into that store again. read more

Ernie was horrible. Absolutely did not care that I saw measuring tapes online for .99 and could not find them in the store. He was good at meet & greet, with no customer service skills. Ernie cared more about the cash registers than he did the customer "me". However, there was a female manager there that was extremely helpful, and found what I needed. But, because Ernie had a quick negative "no" for every question I asked. Such as, is there any in stock. This store gets zero stars. Also, Ernie did not even know where the measuring tapes are located, he had to ask a cashier. Ugh. read more

It wholeheartedly makes me sad to review the customer service attitude because on one hand I had a few employees (not that this should matter) that were male and were incredibly sweet and didn't make me feel bad for being there right before closing time. On the other hand the female employees, let me just add that this was in the back of the store, were not only not willing to answer my questions so close to closing, but we're also extremely off-putting and as a customer it made me feel very uncomfortable. The ones that weren't so kind gave me contradicting answers to the male employees and it caused me to have to spend even more time in the store before they closed trying to figure things out. However, once I got to the front the cashiers male and female alike were extremely nice they were very accepting of my apology for being there so close to close because I do work in a similar field and they were absolutely lovely. With that being said, the female manager was also extremely delightful very helpful and also understanding of the fact that I do work during majority of their business hours and she wasn't upset or had no attitude towards me for being there right before close. I wish all the employees were on the same page because while some gave me wrong information because they just wanted to go home, others were completely understanding, empathetic, and kind despite I'm sure they all had a very tiring day as we all do working. I only wish that I could have gotten some of their names so that I could give credit where credit was due and I would never call out an employee because we're all human nobody knows what anyone's going through in life, but I would have like to let them know how they made me feel so that maybe it doesn't happen to another customer. read more

Not just crafts but many , many decorations for holidays , and not holiday ! Their wasn't an aisle that I didn't see many things I wanted !! Great place for anything to go on the wall : too many to choose from , I got a few frames I wanted and they were half price ! I did see one I really loved , and I ask them if it was half price , and she said no those were on sale last week , no worries she said if you can wait they'll be on sale again soon ! Great products and pricing with 50% off sales. The store on Irvington has staff that tend to congregate and chit chat. Getting help finding a customer Svs rep who will walk with you to find a product is pretty hard to come by. read more
