Fast friendly service. Used a 50% off coupon I received on my smartphone. Great deal!

Unique and traditional are the words to best describe the types of media presented. Friendly helpful staff a range of prices, but keep in mind art is never cheap, so don't be alarmed at the prices. If you are going to buy cheap art in a hotel conference room from a traveling company you will get cheap art by-the-numbers. The artists that frequent twin cities shows and galleries create for the love of art and are dedicated to their craft and usually not getting rich. The selections at Kelley reflect that description.

I found Kelley's by looking online for work by a local artist whose work I adore…read more On a Saturday morning the lady in the store talked to me for nearly an hour. I was the only customer. She was entertaining, friendly and very informative. The stories I liked best were about the ways the business helps support local artists, while still making a profit. For this reason I'll definitely be back. I'm not sure how much a picture frame should cost, but they look like they're very expensive ($200) compared to the price of the art work I own. They had some premade up small frames for around $50, but they may not be the size, shape and style to fit my pictures. Worth checking out. I'll definitely get them to quote for some work, but it's the artists work that will really pull me back

I'm not a model train guy, but am equally astounded by their selection and all of the supplies and accessories they stock for that hobby. Their selection of new kits is very deep and very well organized. The vintage kit selection is varied and reasonably priced. And bargains can be found in the back room if you know what you're doing. Staff is uniformly friendly; I am always greeted when I arrive. If I have a question or need help, it's always fast and efficient. if I just want to wander around and window shop, they don't seem to have a problem with that. This place is a real gem. A throwback to a time when shops like this dotted the twin cities. I haven't seen a shop like this since I used to shop at the old Moeller hobby shop in Robbinsdale. On the rare occasion I need something they don't stock, I will buy online. For everything else, there's no other shop anywhere who gets my business. This place is an absolute treasure.
