I had a bad experience my first time here and I thought I'd pop in again and give it another try. Same experience, unfortunately. I don't know if it's because I'm brown (could be this area) idk but they never greet me here. I've never been to a Tillys that didn't greet you when you walk in. There's a few workers that walked by me both times and said nothing. It was like I did not exist but it's fine I will not be back. We came here the other day to find shirts for my son. The selection and service were both really good here. This store was large and had a cool skater vibe. There were lots of fun displays. When we walked in, we noticed the display with all those skateboards toward the middle of the store. We thought the Hello Kitty skateboard was very cute too. My son knew exactly wanted and headed for that area of the store. A sales associate saw the we were struggling to find the right items and offered help. We finally found some nice Asphalt, Volcom, and RVCA shirts. My son was really happy with the new shirts and hoodie. I also saw some cute clothing and accessories for young women here too. Although I didn't notice what brands they had, there were plenty of fun shirts, jackets, shoes, and bags. While one section of the store had backpacks, another wall was full of shoes. Everyone seemed helpful here. Although we weren't here long, we found everything we needed right away. All in all, this was a good shopping experience and look forward to coming back here again! read more

The salesperson checked for all my requests but the store was completely out of stock so I ordered online. They got here quickly and the waist size was as advertised. The manager candy with pink hair is really unprofessional I had bought some shoes the day before and just wanted an exchange and since I didn't have my Receipt she made me feel like if I was a con artist or something. I paid with my credit card and also have my email which she could have pulled my records. But she looked like she was stressing for the day and just could not help me whatsoever. I was being as nice as I could and she was giving me these very uncomfortable looks And started raising her voice with me when I asked her for her name. I got corporate's number online because she provided the wrong number and it was also without her name. I asked a very polite coworker for her name she was afraid to give it but then provided it on my way out. This sweet coworker deserves A promotion and Candy needs to get demoted or fired, because she should not be working as a manager with the public. I went in a few weeks later with my family and did not say nothing. Good thing for Covid mask because I know her unprofessionalism this time around wasn't because of me. she honestly was just talking the whole time and did not cater to anyone. The workers are always checking in and are helpful. They have lots in stock and they are always willing to ship just in case. The place is always clean and organized which a huge plus for a clothing store. Even though it may be pricy I'd say all of their merchandise is worth it. read more

The best part about this store is definitely the employees and the great service. They have always made my experience here amazing with how welcoming they are and how much they want to help you find the right clothes. If it wasn't for them, I would take a lot longer every visit. They're very knowledgeable about everything so you can ask them any questions and they'll be able to answer them. I like the huge selection of clothes they offer here. The news has been covering the closing of brick and mortar stores, my purchase from Tilly's is a great example of why this is happening. My sunglasses broke so I needed a pair ASAP, so I ran into my local Tillys and picked up a pair, when I got home I checked online only to find out that I'd paid 25% more. All the other negative reviews on here just confirmed my thoughts on this specific Tillys location. I went yesterday to spend my gift card and waited for a dressing room for 10 minutes before I went to look for employees to ask to help me. Every single one of their employees were at the cash register. Like really? No ones walking around asking people if they need help? I know how it works I used to work there...at that exact location! It wasn't that way 5-7 years ago. After trying on my clothes I went to try on shoes and NO ONE came over to help me. I even stood by the cash register trying to make eye contact with someone to help me and they just ignored me. I finally left and didn't buy anything because I was there for way to long and was becoming way too annoyed. Sorry. I love tillys. If I could give less stars I would. This place gave me a store credit in February. I came back today to use it and they will not accept the documentation given to me. Even though the documentation registers in their system. Now they want me to either pay in advance and be credited, like that would work seeing their store credit didn't work this time. Or I can wait 2 weeks to get credit re issued. Funny thing is I walked up to the register planning on sounding 4 times the credit. Guess I better lighten the shopping bag. I went to this store looking for a specific pair of shoes. I walked in, was not greeted, looked around at their shoes for about 5 minutes before even seeing an employee. Once the employee saw me but they didn't approach me. A second employee walked near me, looked at me, and walked up to the other employee. Did not say a word. I was in the store for about 10 minutes, saw 4 employees total, no other customers in the store, and was never approached by an employee. Instead, the employees were busy talking about their personal lives. I won't be back. read more

I used to be an employee at this location and it was not fun. They gave me terrible hours because I was a new employee and did not care that I had other things to take care of besides working. They wanted me to stay up until past midnight the day before finals and wanted me to work the day my grandmother was having a total shoulder replacement. When i interviewed, I told them that I was going to need a week off, and they flat out told me no because I was the new girl. It's been over a month since I left and I have not received my final paycheck, which is over THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS, but I did receive my W-2 tax form. I love shopping at Tilly's and do often, but I must say every time I shop at this location I get the absolute worst customer service. I work retail so I know what it's like and what you're suppose to provide to your customers. I usually get greeted at the door which is nice, but the rest of the time I'm there I'm hardly offered help, esspecially when I'm waiting to try clothes on, there is NEVER anybody around to set me up with a dressing room. I have to go searching throughout the whole entire store to find someone. I've been waiting by the dressing rooms before while employees have made eye contact with me (while they're not with a customer) and continue to walk away or talk with another co-worker. I was here a few weeks ago and hunted down an associate (turned out to be a manager I remembered previously) to help me find a bandeau and she seemed very annoyed that I asked where they were. She pointed me in the direction of where they were, but there is just so much product on the floor that I had no idea where they were so I asked her to show me, she walked a few steps forward and again pointed. I just had to end up finding it on my own and was never asked if I needed help. The girl at the register was nice though, other than that, I'm extremely displeased with the customer service there. read more

Im a huge Tilly's fan. Shop there quite frequently however, after my experience the other day I will NEVER shop at this location again. Long story short I was browsing through store picking out some clothes for my husband I ran into a friend & we chatted for a few. My kids {5 & 3} were playing with little hacky sack type balls they found there. After I was done chatting with my friend an employee by the name of Ashley "advised" me to "throughly check my stroller before I left" I said to her excuse me? She said "your children were hiding stuff in your stroller" I looked ALL over the stroller in front of her NOTHING was there she then says to my children "did you put the stuff back you were hiding in your Mom's stroller" i was LIVID!! How dare this chick accuse my kids of taking their stupid $2 hacky sack. I spoke to the manager Bree who was awesome & very apologetic & I also contacted corporate who was amazing as well. I will continue to shop at tillys but it won't be at the Anaheim Hills location till ASHLEY is gone !!!! read more

My boyfriend and I visited this store around 8pm. At the time I found the employees to be very helpful and friendly. Upon arriving home around 9:30 pm we discovered that we had lost an item in the night's errands. In an effort to retrace our steps we took a chance and called the now closed store. To my surprise they answered the phone, said their greeting, I began to ask if they had seen our missing item, and then was hung up on. Now thinking that this was an innocent mistake I called back. I was hung up on 10 times. Occasionally they would actually respond to me "don't call back" "we close at 9" "don't call if you don't know". I found these actions and comments to be extremely rude and disrespectful considering I was merely calling to see if our item had been found and quite frankly why even pick up the phone after hours if you don't want to deal with customers. As a consumer I highly value the way a company's employees treat their clients and my experience with the Anaheim hills staff was frustrating enough to deter me from continuing to shop at that location in the future. read more
