Dr. Chiang's staff is efficient & also asked if I had any other questions besides my tick bite - & I did have minor issues that I wouldn't otherwise have seen a doctor for. Dr. Chiang was nice, warm, friendly & smart doctor. He prescribed some ointment to help my tick bite heal & prescribed antibiotics to address possible Lyme disease. Doctor helped me with my minor problems: 1) dry skin on the back of my neck - turned out to be eczema, to which I apply the same ointment I'm using on my tick bite; 2) plantar warts on both feet, which Doctor "killed" by freezing; and 3) a cholesterol spit under my left eye, which doctor said is fine & I can "treat" by addressing my overall cholesterol levels. Dr. Chiang practices out of their Pleasanton office on Saturdays, so I'll go there for my follow up. It's much closer, about 20 minutes away!

Dr. Badame had availability on the 31st and I took the appointment with very low expectations. The staff were welcoming but nothing extra ordinary. You have to provide your insurance card and driver's license and if your DL is electronic, you have to send it via email to the office staff. Wifi is very bad in the office so I had to go outside to do it and it was pouring. I wish I knew about this ahead of time. After a reasonable wait, considering that it was a doctor's office, I was taken to a room and the RN asked me about my concerns etc., and after a short while, I saw Dr. Badame. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He immediately had an answer to the issues that I was there for and recommended some cream and asked me to come back in 3 months. Since the cream that the doctor prescribed would most likely not be covered by insurance, the front desk staff recommended Wellness Pharmacy that would have it for much cheaper than a CVS or a Walgreens. I wanted to try my insurance first and so they sent it to CVS and when CVS confirmed the price for the cream, I called the office back and asked them to send it to the Wellness Pharmacy and they did so and I received a text confirming the same. The waiting room I was directed to had a screen with very useful information on caring for your skin, practical advise etc. while I waited. There was also a notice posted in the room about making sure that each patient asked all the questions they had and to leave satisfied and I liked that. The reminder email didn't mention arriving early for additional paperwork. I arrived right on time--just a couple of minutes late because I couldn't find parking. The office is on the 10th floor of a downtown building, about a block from the Santa Clara courthouse. At that time of day, street parking was easy, and I believe they also have garage parking. You receive a code to unlock the front or back door via your phone, which was convenient. Once inside, I was asked to fill out more information on an iPad, which took about five minutes. My appointment was scheduled for 3:20 PM. Around 3:45 PM, I asked how much longer I would have to wait. Someone came in almost immediately to take me to a room, take pictures, and ask questions about my concerns. By 3:55 PM--35 minutes after my scheduled time--I asked again how long it would be. I was told they would check, but no one followed up. Ten minutes later, I picked up my bag and said I wasn't going to wait any longer. At that point, I was told Vera was still treating another patient and I'd need to wait another 10 minutes. That would have been 50 minutes past my appointment time, she was still with another patient!! I left without being seen or making another appointment. I understand doctor's offices often run behind, but this was excessive and disrespectful of someone else's time. I left one star only because the front desk staff were very pleasant.
