Michelle's was recommended by the funeral home for my brother's wake. For the money, $247 I was expecting a heart with some pop. What they delivered was the sadest looking, unremarkable small heart arrangement with with a chinsy brother ribbon. Looked like some seasonal wreath you might buy to hang on your front door. I was actually embarrassed when I saw it compared to the other fresh remarkable arrangement there. Do yourself a favor, look online and have a fresh arrangement sent from anywhere and I am sure it will be lovely and probably less expensive, and much better looking. So I just got a picture in my Google photos of 10 years ago when my husband cheated on me and decided to send me a flower arrangement from this shop. The flowers were absolutely stunning. They were delivered to my office and I didn't want them and they were charged to my banking account, not our joint banking account, not his banking account, BUT....my account. So I literally paid for my own flowers after my husband cheated on me. I drove to their shop, brought the flowers into them and said I do not want these and I do not want to pay for these. My husband used my account to pay for flowers that he cheated on me with and sent them to my office. Please take your flowers back. PS. They were delivered 2 hours ago SO THEY WERE PERFECT...and please refund my money cuz I don't want to pay for the flowers that my husband sent me after he cheated on me. They took the flowers back and said OMG that's horrible ... They never refunded my money. Horrible customer service. I'll start by stating that I own part of this screw up because I was dumb enough to rely on Google Maps for an address. That said, these people don't know how to follow directions and they apparently can't think on their feet. I ordered flowers for a friend and based on Google Maps, gave a street # that was 2 doors away. I specifically asked for an afternoon delivery, because my friend wouldn't be home. Two doors away, the people weren't home either, so when the flowers were delivered in the morning and nobody was home, the florist left them at the specified address, outside on a scorching hot day. They also left a note on the door of the specified address, BUT never called the recipient's phone number to tell them about the delivery. Had I not ended up ASKING how the flowers were, I wouldn't have known about any of this and this would have had a really bad ending. read more

Received the Text the next day as requested. The arrangement was gorgeous. I purchased flowers for my mom for mother's day and this florist sent a bouquet consisting of 30% of the flowers featured in the photo. Keep in mind the flowers I paid for had 12 yellow roses and 6 pink roses and minimum 4 peonies. What arrived was less than 1/2 of that. When I called the florist to complain she said the photo was "photoshopped" and that I "would not rip" her "off". Then she hung up on me. I spent $100 on a bouquet and I got something that could have been bought for $10 at Big Y. I'd attach photos if I could here....I'm pretty sure the consumer is the one being ripped off. I needed flowers for a funeral in Hartford but since I live near Vernon I decided to stop at Michelle's Florals. Hartford is not normally their area so I said I would stop in and pick up the flowers. I got a call from the shop the day before it needed to be delivered telling me that I had enough on my plate and that they would deliver the arrangements for me. When I arrived at the funeral home I could not have been happier with the beautiful floral arrangements. They exceeded my expectations. read more

Just received the most gorgeous birthday arrangement from Michelle's. They delivered all the way out here to Windsor. My hubby ordered them through USAA so that must have been their go-to person for the day. Anyway the colors are amazingly bright and the flowers look and smell like they've just come from the garden! The hubby said that he spoke with the folks at Michelle's today too to confirm they'd be able to deliver quickly and they certainly did! The woman working was preparing flowers for I'm guessing another order but stopped to put together a little bouquet for me. Awful, awful customer service. I was sent a basket from a family member for my birthday. I received I note to call for deliver--but Michelle's Florals closes at 5, and has neither voicemail nor an answering machine. When I called the next day, the person on the phone was incredibly rude. She insisted I was "refusing" delivery because I would not leave work early to allow delivery. They refused to deliver to my work, which is close to my home. I told them to issue a refund to the sender, since I work and they won't deliver after 5. Absolutely awful. I will never use them, and I will be formally complaining to FTD. I am amazed a place like this can stay in business. read more

Sadly, I wanted to write a good reviews but after how I was treated I just can't. We went in for fall wedding flowers. I was very specific on when I wanted. Rainbow fall flowers. Please make sure to add sunflowers and blue flowers! I was given a quote of $180. I was told that depending on what I was given the prices could be less. The flowers were picked up by my sister in-law and I had paid for them full $125. It was $55 less then I was quoted. I though it was less because there were no sunflowers or blue flowers. (Don't get me wrong the flowers we got were Beautiful.) To my surprise with out my permission the day after my wedding the shop decided it would be appropriate to charge my card for $55 more. No phone call nothing! They just helped themselves to my bank account! When I called to ask why they took more money out of my account I was shocked by the disgusting attitude I was given! Her reasoning was she had quoted me a $180 and charged me the wrong price when I called to pay my balance in full. So she just took it upon herself to take more money out of my account. I explained to her that I did not get all the flowers I asked for so I assume the price was less. I also explained to her that it wasn't my fault because I had went there to pay my bill in full and that's the price I was given. She informed me that she didn't care and that it was her money and that she made the decision to take it out of my account. She also informed me that she would not be refunding me. I explained to her that it was completely inappropriate and had she called me and had a conversation with me I would have given her the money but since she just took it out of my account I wanted it back because it was unprofessional and against the law. She continued to make fun of my English and try to correct my grammar and had the audacity to hang up on me. Unfortunately I had to make a claim with my bank and the money was returned. I just have to say that when you give a business your credit card information you do it under the impression that they will only use it for that one transaction. This was completely inappropriate and unethical. She is honestly lucky I didn't decide to press charges! read more

On May 15th a friend and I ordered an artificial floral arrangement in a beautiful container to be sent to Rialto, CA. We wrote a note on a card and asked it be included. We were told it would be mailed out the next day. This week we were going to call the shop to inquire about it as neither of us had heard from our friend that she had received it. We both got a call from her on May 30th saying a package had been delivered on May 29th and there was no note inside. She assumed it was from one of us but didn't know who to thank. We all love the arrangement but 2 weeks to get there and no note inside is not customer service appropriate. If there was any issue about the mailing or payment the person who paid for it should have been notified. You had her telephone number. The work was lovely but will look elsewhere in the future. read more

I called the day before and ordered a dozen yellow roses to be delivered to my wife at her work place. So so so disappointed in this place! I will never ever trust them with a flower order again. I placed my flower order for my mother's birthday on a Friday. To be delivered the next day on a Saturday. They offer same-day delivery, so that should not have been a problem at all. Not to mention she lives 2 miles from them. Well Saturday came and went...I guess they decided to not look at their incoming orders that day. Why do your job right? They never called me, they never emailed me, which by the way they don't check emails if Michelle is not available. Totally unacceptable. They just ignored my $85 order and ruined my mother's birthday. Sunday came and went because they were closed. 10:30 AM by Monday still no phone call, still no email, still no flowers. I called and the lady insisted that I placed my order on Saturday, even though I have my email receipt. The email is time stamped 4:55 PM on Friday. She offered a box of chocolates. She did not offer a reason behind why my order was blatantly ignored. My mother's birthday has come and gone and was ruined....and we are offered chocolates. Totally unacceptable! And heartbreaking for my mother who has no family around (I live out west) and received NOTHING on her birthday. read more

I had saw a beautiful blue and white flower spray for my brothers casket on line. I went to Michelle's to order it but could not find it on line again. the mother of my brothers children was also there picking out flowers but she really wanted purple while I was set on white and blue. we were there for quite some time trying to pick out flowers. Thankfully we were able to find a picture of an even more beautiful spray for the top of his casket so I ordered that one which was blue and white. When we arrived at the funeral home we were so surprised to see the flowers I had ordered. Not only did they make exactly what I had pictured but put the most beautiful blue and purple orchid in it. I stopped in today hoping they could help with flowers for my wedding (that is only 2 weeks away) because the florist I had been working with was non-responsive. This time the flowers were cut super short and arranged in the wrapper to look much longer than they were. they were supposed to be a nice gift from DH but were a mess. Wow, I am so grateful for the wonderful help I received from Pat at Michelle's! The flowers Michelle's prepared for a funeral were beautiful and appropriate. Ordering from out of state for a funeral when you don't even know the deceased can be challenging - what do you send, and will they look attractive and appropriate given your relationship with the relative of the deceased? Pat helped me navigate sprays vs baskets vs vases and we settled upon doing 2 funeral baskets so they were coordinated and could be displayed nicely (the family ended up placing them flanking the altar). Then we talked flowers - I wanted to ensure the arrangement was tasteful but also looked substantial/prominent enough since we couldn't be there in person and since they were being sent from 3 couples together. The colors and flowers that Pat helped me pick were perfect. They were more sophisticated flowers in blues/purples/whites as requested (and the florist accommodated my request to exclude certain flowers). The arrangements were also sufficiently large which was welcome to see since you never know if you're going to get your money's worth when you make a phone order from afar. A relative of the deceased called that day to say how absolutely beautiful the flowers were and how much they were appreciated. They also texted a photo which showed the lovely arrangements. This florist really got it right - we are so grateful! I wish we had a similar florist near our home - I have no doubt they would do a wonderful job for any occasion. read more
