    Spicy Beef Ramen
    Robert F.

Small joint in a strip mall pumping out steaming bowls of hot noods! We arrived on a cold and rainy no Thursday at 4:45 and the placed was packed but there was still a few open tables. I ordered the spicy beef ramen and my girlfriend ordered the vegetable ramen The food arrived in a timely manner and it was hot and delicious. The beef was a little tough and it could've been cooked a little longer (low and slow) and the broth had good flavor.

Hey Yelpers! Winter is the perfect time for ramen, so we stopped by for dinner to-go. You order in the back at the cash register. Went with the tonkatsu shoyu ramen and some kimchi fried rice. They are our go-to faves, and didn't disappoint. Eating inside is fun. Service is pretty fast and lively. We will be back soon. Check them out!!!

This was only my second time eating out of ramen place and I will definitely be back here. When we walked in, we were probably seated by the waiter. He was kind enough to answer any questions we had as this is not our typical type of food that we eat. For the appetizers we had ordered pork and shrimp wontons in chili oil sauce. I love the little bit of spice that the chili oil provided but it was not overly hot. We also ordered the cream cheese crab rangoons. I will never get tired of those. Each of us got a different ramen. I ordered the spicy beef ramen with bean sprouts and my boyfriend got the black chili oil with pork and chicken. Both of these were absolutely outstanding, I the black chili oil ramen was both of our favorites. We were both surprised with the amount of food that we ate that neither one of us felt bloated or stuffed full, but we definitely were full and happy the rest of the day. They had music playing the entire time but not overly loud and you could look into the kitchen to see what they were making.

Came here on Sunday afternoon was greeted on my way in and seated immediately. The workers were nice to describe the items on the menu. They were playing Japanese music and the interior was very clean. The ramen is really decent size for the price. The karrage was a little dry but the flavor was very tasty. Definitely would recommend checking out!

Love this place! So far, favorite ramen place in Henderson! Everything we have tried, is outstanding, especially the Spicy Ramen. Great service, sat us right away & took our order within the first few minutes. The place is very clean & bright. Would have been a five-star, but one of the servers did not return my credit card & I had to ask another server to find it...otherwise, love eating here.

First time here and it did not disappoint!! I got the chicken shoyu and added bok choy. Definitely love spicy so I added some of the chili oil from the table and the chili powder from the table as well. It was delicious. The garlic edamame was excellent don't pass that up. It wasn't packed when we arrived however it filled up quickly as we were eating so we got in right before the dinner rush. Service was quick and I definitely will be returning to try the spicy ramen

We've gone here a few times and each time, they were consistent. We've never orders take out from them but we did the other day. I didn't want to cook and we definitely didn't want boiling hot food. I remember how much I enjoyed their hot chilli wontons. Then I saw they had a stir-fry udon. Perfect. Called and ordered and the person on the line said 10mins. By the time I got to the restaurant, it was 13mins and my food was ready to be taken home and enjoyed. I ordered their green tea cheesecake and they kept it in a to go container in the fridge until after I paid so that it would not sit out too long. I appreciated that. The wonton has all the sauces on the side so that it would not be soggy by the time I got it home. Mix and we enjoyed. Perfect. The stir fry udon was better than it looked. Think udon noodles with pork and shrimp and a little bit of spinach. Another hit for us. I ordered gyoza cuz I was craving it. Satisfied-for sure. The cheesecake. It was surprisingly good. Definitely needed it after all the flavors from the food. Will order from them again. Food was Perfect.

Vegetarian Broth Found this wallet friendly Ramen spot in Henderson yesterday. Michi is reasonably priced and very delicious. The service was quick and pleasant. Vegetable Soup Ramen- the charred Brussels, corn, spinach, bok choy and added spicy was very refreshing. If you like Kimchi the fried rice is worth a try as well. I'll definitely be back!

Ordered to-go for the NY. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food. Place is small, fits probably 20-30 people. Food was great. - takoyaki 8/10. I wished there could be more octopus but it was crispy upon the first bite and was flavorful. - kuro black garlic 8/10. The garlic taste was just right. I might get that next time! - honey karaage 9/10. Crispy texture and juicy. - regular karaage 9/10. Crispy yet airy. - wonton ramen 10/10. The wonton: shrimp was a good size and this is the only place I know of that combines wonton & ramen, which I loved! The broth was made perfectly. - regular tonkatsu ramen 8/10. Broth was tasty and the meat was cooked nicely.

Michi Ramen is a must if you are craving a delicious bowl of ramen! This amazing restaurant made the list of Yelp's Top 50 Eateries in Las Vegas and we knew we had to check it out. The restaurant is located in a small plaza across from a Home Depot with plenty of parking across the restaurant. As soon as you walk in you get greeted by the staff and assigned a table. The restaurants decoration is on point and definitely makes you feel like you are eating in a small ramen spot in Japan. For my first time I decided to start with their Karaage Chicken and a bowl of Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. The chicken was cooked to perfection and definitely the best karaage chicken I've ever had! It comes with this sauce that is not sweet, but also not spicy, I have no idea what it was but it was bomb! The ramen was equally delicious and the broth was amazing. The flavor in the pork was outstanding. If I am ever back in Las Vegas, I'll definitely make sure to come back and support this amazing local restaurant!

I think it might even be up there as one of my new favorite ramen spots in town, alongside Hashi in Chinatown and Kyuramen in Anthem! The best part is, with how close this restaurant is to my place, I don't have to make nearly as long of a drive if I want ramen. Umai Ramen is located in the Target shopping complex on Sunset and Stephanie, tucked away in the line of shops between Hobby Lobby and Ross. I first spotted this place when I went to the nearby H&R Block to get my taxes done earlier in the year, but I never really had an excuse to come out here until I had the ramen craving strike, and hard -- hence why I decided to bite the bullet and check the place out. One of the things that struck me immediately was their offerings -- of course, they have ramen of all types as you might guess from the name. But they also have different styles of ramen that you don't typically find anywhere, like the more elusive mazemen no-broth ramen, udon noodles, and even tsukemen-style ramen! To say nothing of some of the appetizers -- again, while they have the typical offerings of other noodle houses in town, they also have a selection of items that you really can't find anywhere else. They have multiple types of ramen with unusual toppings, such as their truffle ramen with mushrooms and steak (I need to try that next time I'm here), but I went pretty safe with their black garlic ramen, considered a signature item on their menu, and added an extra egg to it. If I were honest, I didn't need it because the ramen was so full of delicious toppings that I couldn't put my chopsticks or spoon down! Their appetizers are also a must -- I ordered their orange salmon and mango scallops, and I would highly recommend both of those as well. Between bites, the servers would check in on me, refill my water, and provide additional napkins as needed, as well. Needless to say, I'm hooked -- and already I'm thinking of the next time I go here! What will I try next? If you're in the area, give Umai Ramen a try. You just might come back for more.

I had some favorite ramen shops in Philly that I still think are stellar, but the one thing they were missing was this minced pork. I will add that **** to EVERY kind of ramen bowl! I must have been a cat in a past life because I am obsessed with bonito fish flakes and you can never put too many of those on top. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I feel guilty eating octopus, so I don't order takoyaki as often as I used to. The service is friendly and the beer is cold. The ambience is relatively low lighting, cozy izakaya vibe, with modern touches in the decor. The icing on the cake is the face that they have melon cream soda. Ramen. Minced Pork. Beer. Melon soda. The Ultimate Ramen, despite its name, was underwhelming -- mediocre at best, lacking the depth and richness you'd expect from a bowl with that kind of billing. The sushi rolls were equally disappointing. Both the California Roll and the Philly Roll suffered from bland, flavorless rice -- the foundation of any good sushi. The sweetness and tanginess that should come through in well-seasoned sushi rice were completely absent. The Philly Roll was especially let down by the cream cheese, which had virtually no taste and added nothing to the roll. Even the wasabi lacked any real heat or pungency, which honestly surprised me the most. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was working the floor entirely on her own and still managed to be attentive and pleasant throughout. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. Overall, the kitchen needs to revisit its seasoning and flavor profiles across the board. With some attention to the basics properly seasoned rice, quality ingredients, and bold condiments, this place could be so much better. For now, it's hard to recommend.

We dropped in for a late dinner at 8PM, driving there directly from Zion National Park after hiking Angel's Landing. It was still surprisingly busy inside and we even had to wait a bit for a table! The waitress first brought over some cucumber lemon water, then took our order. The food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Spicy Beef Noodle, Knife Shaved ($15.97) - Whew that broth. It's like cough city on the first sip, that chili and sichuan peppercorn mixture really gets into the throat. It then transitions into a robustly beefy, salty, and even slightly sweet flavor. It's so beefy it's almost gamey in taste. The heat is actually very balanced, although after sipping on it throughout the meal, I started getting pretty sweaty even with the AC on blast in the building. The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men
