Lunch time
Tiffany W.

New in the area and have been wanting to try this place. I went for lunch and did the all you can eat option which was $35! I enjoyed everything I had . I got there early evening and by the time I left it was filling up. It's a clean, nice sized casual establishment. The staff was pleasant and service was good. I would definitely go back. They have such an expansive menu, probably over 40 options of rolls.

We just recently discovered sushi hero and we are obsessed with their menu. The restaurant itself is actually pretty small inside but we have never waited more than 20 min for a table. The service is always super fast and the servers are always really nice. My daughter likes coming because of the toy chest which is so cute. I've never seen a place do this before! Highly recommend coming here.

Really like the food here but ea time you come at lunch, unfortunately they have one server and I actually feel sorry for her. They are never staffed and that's a management issue! Let's get into the food. this is an all you can eat sushi restaurant that has a great lunchtime menu for 2995 and an all day all you can eat menu at 3595. They do have a long list of rules everything from a 60 minute time limit no sharing and I don't particularly appreciate anyone trying to look at my plate to determine what they should charge for extras on leftovers, which is a bit ridiculous drinks are not included in 18% gratuity is added for a party of six or more. These are the rules you should be aware of before you even order . Now, if we get into the menu, they certainly have an extensive menu selection everything from the hero specials to the classic hand rolls, skewers along list of appetizers, grilled and baked goods, soup and salads deep-fried rolls and of course everything in between. I have come twice now for lunch and we have waited over 35 minutes just to get our food . There's never more than one person making sushi. One person in the kitchen and the experience has been less and less enjoyable. Today I waited with my mom sitting in the car more than 45 minutes for my order. I only had 4 items and this is not acceptable. you can look at the reviews overtime and you can see that Management is clearly at fault or it may even be the owners, but they are going to certainly lose business. If they don't do something about the Staffing you can't save money by providing poor quality service and long weights, especially during lunchtime when people only have 30 minutes or an hour to spare . Sushi should definitely not take this long to serve. Overall I would still recommend this restaurant, but definitely come with some time on your hands and if you have limited time, I definitely wouldn't recommend coming at lunch when they choose not Not To properly staff.

I love all you can eat Sushi and I love trying new spots with friends because you can share all the rolls. We arrived right at opening on a Sunday (11:30) and were promptly seated and our drink order was taken. When she arrived with the drinks the sushi onslaught began! We worked our way through a lot of the rolls and of course ordered some nigiri. My favorite was the cowgirl roll with thin slices of seared beef on top. Great service, great all you can eat sushi and a great little spot!

Don't judge a book by its cover, or a Sushi spot by its location! We had driven by here a few times and wanted to check out a new spot! First off we were greeted and sat right away, I believe she was the owner. Super pleasant, friendly and made sure we were really well taken care of! We start with drinks then ordered AYCE. Food was prepared super fast! Lots of roll variations to choose from and a lot of great appetizers too! I must impress upon you to Try the Golden Fried Scallops and the Shrimp Tempura! My favorite roll today was the Popcorn Lobster roll, second place goes to Hawiian Roll and Sashimi roll takes third. Everything was good! The portions are bigger than a lot of other Sushi places! The restaurant is quaint. Small but right to the point! Will definitely recommend and will be back for more!

Needed a quick bite and remembered the previous location was good. Friendly staff and a lot on rice rolls which is my go to!! Pork belly wasn't to my liking but rolls were good. Cute decor and I will back to try again a couple rolls tasted a lil too fishy for me. They have some repeat customers that came in I liked that vibe as means people like it.

AYCE Sushi ... one of our favorite sushi restaurants we like to enjoy. Service is excellent and they are very friendly. Ambiance is great too with wide selection of music playing. We'll be back again to have our stamp card hit with another frequent flyer sushi food baby.

Omg, LOVE this place! My favorite sushi spots! The place is so clean! The fish is always fresh! The people that work there are so nice! They give you a coupon card every time you do all you can eat. I have not one complained about this place! They even have a chest box for the kids that eat there! Love it! And it's a reasonable price for all you can eat! And it's super hero decoratored!

We had a great experience here! We were greeted when we walked in and seated immediately. Our server and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The sushi is incredibly fresh! They offer an all you can eat option, but ordering off the menu is also an option, which I appreciated because we wanted a quick little bite in between adventuring today. This place is very casual with a modern, simple feel. Highly recommend!

Shrimp Tempura
Donavan A.

One of my favorite sushi spots in vegas. The food is always fresh and clean tasting. I love the shrimp lovers roll and the playboy roll. The shrimp tempura always light and crispy and the miso soup is good. The service is excellent for it to be a small place especially when packed. The servers are always on point. Food is always served right on time still hot. They probably have the best French fries and spicy garlic edamame around. All in all this is a definite must try and you'll thank me later!

Was in this parking lot running an errand and spotted Sushi Hero and remembered it had been recommended by a friend! Sushi was all tasty and fresh! During lunch time there was only one other gentleman in the restaurant eating so service was speedy and we were checked on frequently. Unlike other sushi restaurants they weren't playing music so loud that you can't think so that was a plus! My only knock is that some of the common options that are our favorites at other spots weren't in the menu (in my opinion)! Overall we will be visiting again if we are nearby!

Here's the scoop. I moved from Seattle to Reno and was ectatic they had AYCE Sushi. I have family in Henderson and visited this location. It's a couple bucks more expensive than Reno at $33 and frankly I was a little skeptical of the overwhelming "best sushi I ever ate" reviews as most the AYCE places the quality is good but a bit short compared to upscale non-AYCE places and selection is typically limited. WOW! The AYCE selection is INSANE here. Best I've ever experienced. The appetizer and nigiri selection is almost twice the selection as the places in Reno. A gazillion rolls, many with names that will make you laugh. Portion size on the nigiri was larger than I'm used to for AYCE but Gunkan size was small as you can see from my photos of the Salmon Eggs and Uni (Sea Urchin) but it is quite remarkable you can even get Uni from AYCE! It is limited to one order though as is a few other items. But 90% of everything on the menu is AYCE including I think the specials on the special board in most cases. Service was a little slow which make you nervous when they set a 1-hour time limit but I easily made it through 3 waves within an hour and was comfortably full of great quality sushi that would have cost me about 3X or $90 in Seattle. We had a party of 6 and on a Satuday evening were concerned there would be a wait to seat us. Google's online reservation function errored out on me so I called and they said we probably didn't need a reservation but took one anyway. When we got there at 6:30P there were only two couples on the waiting lists and they already had a table for 6 setup and reserved for us. Absolutely love this place. Nothing bad to say about it other than be patient or proactive as far as politely signaling to the server you are ready to order more.

The owner snapped at the person who sat us we weren't sure why and felt maybe we weren't supposed to be seated at the bar. We were greeted by a young server very nice, smiling, welcoming. I ordered a Orion beer, wife had a green tea. Wife ordered some plates. They came quickly. My wife was so excited to try this restaurant, so she ordered and I ate. Everything was incredible. The sashimi , sushi, all melted in your mouth. So many different flavors with each plate. Not over powering sauces which most places do to hide the low quality of fish. Not here each piece was a culinary deliciousness of flavor. The rolls are not typical all rice little filling. The rice enhanced the filling. No need to use soy sauce! The ginger they supply was so fresh we had 4 servings of it. The restaurant is a 50s style diner, but it doesn't matter what the place looked like with this incredible food. We've NEVER had sushi like this. It's expensive, but you are paying for Japan quality sushi. With all the sushi spots and AYCE places I see why it was so slow. I asked if it gets busy, and was given a few jokingly sarcastic answers from I think owner, which was ok cause I joked back and he got it. If you want the experience of going to a master sushi chef restaurant in Japan, go to Tokyo Boys. You'll pay for a great experience. We hope when we come back to Henderson to return!

The noodles were nicely cooked and the tempura also had a nice crunch Green tea fried ice cream 10/10! Def the best part of the meal. It was warm on the outside and cold on the inside. I love places that have this as an option. Overall the food was pricey and tasted okay for the price. The service can be a bit better in terms of understanding the menu item or what the "special of the day" is. The place has a nice vibe where you can chat with friends.

Fifteen years later and I still love this place!…read more I've been dining at I Love Sushi for over 15 years, and it truly never disappoints. It's one of those restaurants that has become a tradition for our family, and every time we visit we're reminded why it's always packed. There has been a recent change in ownership, and they now offer an all-you-can-eat menu. I'll admit I was hesitant at first because sometimes AYCE sushi can mean sacrificing quality. Thankfully that is not the case here at all. The quality is just as good as it's always been. We started with the garlic edamame, which is always a great way to kick things off. From there we ordered steamed gyoza, yellowtail, yuzu salmon sushi, and then took advantage of one of the best parts of the all-you-can-eat menu... you can order half rolls. This makes it so easy to try a variety of different rolls without committing to full ones. That said, the one roll I will never order as a half is the Flower Roll. It's been my favorite here for years and is an absolute must every time we visit. Our waitress also recommended trying the Irish Roll, which was new to us and ended up being excellent. We'll definitely be ordering that again. We also tried a half Candy Cane Roll, which was another great option. One of the reasons we keep coming back, beyond the food, is the service. Because we've been coming here for so long, the staff recognizes us and they are always incredibly kind and welcoming. It really adds to the experience. This restaurant is almost always packed, and there's a very good reason for that. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. A couple other menu items worth mentioning: The Joe Special is fantastic (even though we didn't order it this visit), and my daughter always loves the Niku Udon noodles. After 15+ years, I Love Sushi is still a five-star experience for us, and it's a place we always look forward to visiting with family and friends.

My daughter got sick after forcing herself to eat the udon (we arrived very hungry after work and school). I took one spoonful of the soup and couldn't eat it because the dashi was terrible. It tasted exactly like the packaged udon you'd find in the refrigerated section at Winco, and not the good flavored ones either. I don't often complain about my food but everything was bad. The rice was wet and mushy. I requested pan fried gyoza and they deep-fried them. The udon was horrible. I had to call over someone who I believe was the manager to complain about the poor quality of the food. He didn't even offer a response and just stood there, staring at the wet rice on the plate. He didn't apologize, didn't offer to comp anything. He continued standing there awkwardly until I told him he needs to comp something because it was all bad. He offered to comp my one bowl of udon so I paid $87 for some of the worst food I've had in quite a while. Bad food and even worse service. Zero stars if I could.
