Spicy Mazeman and tempura Brussels sprouts. So. Good.

Umai is my new home ramen spot. I have a dozen times or so and the ambience, quality of food and service has been consistently amazing. The unique ramen dish garlic mazeman is favorite with a Sapporo . They have great appetizers. The tiger shrimp is really tasty. Everything it's flavorful and well done. It's always noticeably clean as well.

Stopped in for some Ramen feeling a bit under the weather. Cozy restaurant, good choice of music and decor. There's lots of choices on the menu and I like that. Perfect spot in a busy shopping center. Friendly Gals working tonight. Shout out to Sage she's sweet and made some good recommendations from the Ramen menu. She recommended the Chicken Ramen with less salt because I was feeling under the weather. I like how she mentioned the broth could be on the salty side so I requested for less salt. On the menu: Chicken Ramen less salt added Pork Chashu for $4 extra charge. Gyoza Crunch Roll Food came out fresh and quick. The Chicken Ramen with the less salt was perfect portions were spot on. Service was good. Reasonable prices. I'll be back again.

Best ramen I've had in Vegas fantastic. Love the broth and service is great. Awesome price also

Got their tonkotsu, bbq ramen, and black garlic ramen. They were yummy! I liked how they were well portioned and got lots of ingredients in them. The soft shell crab salad was good but the crab had too much batter. I want to taste more crab. The broth itself was on the super salty side. If they added a little bit more water it would have been better. Staff was nice. Service was fast. Small but cozy space.

Quiet little ramen spot tucked in a busy shopping center. It's not the best ramen but it's fairly priced and the workers are always very friendly.

First time here and i was literally licking my plate the food was so good! We got the creamy tonkotsu ramen and the mazemen noodles I definitely have to come back for my own order of the mazemen. Love that we found a spot less than five minutes from our home. Now we don't have to drive all the way to spring mountain for some quality ramen. Great find!!

We discovered Umai Ramen while in town to see Bruno Mars, and what a find! The food is delicious and fresh, and the service is impeccable and friendly with an enjoyable atmosphere. We will be back every time we're in the area.

2nd time coming here- doesn't disappoint. Everything was yummy and fresh tasting. Ambiance was quiet and relaxing. Service was on point. Will continue to go there when I'm in town.

    Black Garlic Ramen: delish!

Food: ordered the veggie black garlic ramen, and it was DELICIOUS! The fried tofu was on point as were the bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, and fried garlic. I added an egg as well. I'm not a vegetarian, but this dish didn't make me miss meat. 10/10 The takoyaki was also tasty. Only drawback: a bit excessive with the bonito flakes which completely smothered the takoyaki. 8/10 Service: attentive, efficient. Atmosphere: casual, no frills Plenty of free parking in shopping lot.

Wasn't to busy on a week day in the early evening. Service was friendly. I got the veggie black garlic ramen which was delicious. It was plenty of food.

Cool decor and simple seating area. Servers are friendly and patient especially for those that are extremely indecisive and need to study the menu for a while. Visited a few years back and this place is just as good as I remember it. Black Garlic Ramen- so much flavor from the black garlic. Broth has some depth to it. Who doesn't love fried garlic and onion? Ramen was cooked just right. Soft Shell Crab- batter wasn't too heavy, light and crispy.

The service from the server was amazing the whole time, the food was amazing and very fresh. The flavors were amazing and the modification options are great. The environment was very cute to me as well very comforting restaurant! However there was an issue with their system and we were upset with how the staff was being talked to by the owner or manager unsure of what position they work. The servicer handled the situation perfectly and professionally, we will be returning!

Got some ramen and other Japanese food in Henderson at this unassuming place that's got a lot to choose from. It makes a good meal on a rare cool day around here. Umai Ramen has a pretty authentic menu. Even though it may not be that authentic. There's a ton of options for any preferences. Best place to get ramen around here. It's not a hot weather food so it's often overlooked when it's hot out. This should be given a chance though. Has a lot more than just ramen on the menu. Lots of choices for vegans. It's about $12 for a bowl. The Veggie Black Garlic Ramen is the plant based option. Hot stuff and a lot of it. This is a bowl of veggie broth with veggie black garlic ramen. A lot of good stuff in it. There's bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, black garlic oil, fried garlic, green onions, and fried tofu. Had a hard time finishing it. This was just too hot for the weather. Better to get when it's cooler. Thankfully I was able to get it all finished. Have to say this has the best ramen around. It's a simple menu with a few choices. There's still a few things to get for vegans and vegetarians.

Ask the Community - Umai Ramen

    Are the broths shellfish free?

I asked and was reassured that it was. No guarantees tho but I don't have an allergy but I am vegan.

Are there any gluten free options?

I think so. Some of the noodles can be with egg or rice.

    Do they have Spicy Ramen?

Yea, you can get any of their ramens spicy. They also have extra spicy if you're up for it but it's suuuuper hot.

Do the noodles in the ramen dishes have egg as an ingredient? This is an allergy concern

They do have egg in the noodles, but they also have kale noodles as a vegan option. So they do have an alternative if you can't have any egg.

Is msg added to the broth?

I don't think so, I did not feel extremely thirsty while eating their food, usually, my body gets pretty sensitive with MSG, but I can still be wrong, I would probably give them a call and ask if you just want to be sure before you go.

Is there a vegan menu? Thank you in advance 😁

It is not on the menu, but if you ask they have vegan substitutes and different options.

I had some favorite ramen shops in Philly that I still think are stellar, but the one thing they were missing was this minced pork. I will add that **** to EVERY kind of ramen bowl! I like it even more than the char siu! I ordered the takoyaki appetizer and was not disappointed. I must have been a cat in a past life because I am obsessed with bonito fish flakes and you can never put too many of those on top. The only thing I struggle with is the fact that I feel guilty eating octopus, so I don't order takoyaki as often as I used to. The service is friendly and the beer is cold. The Ultimate Ramen, despite its name, was underwhelming -- mediocre at best, lacking the depth and richness you'd expect from a bowl with that kind of billing. The sushi rolls were equally disappointing. Both the California Roll and the Philly Roll suffered from bland, flavorless rice -- the foundation of any good sushi. The sweetness and tanginess that should come through in well-seasoned sushi rice were completely absent. The Philly Roll was especially let down by the cream cheese, which had virtually no taste and added nothing to the roll. Even the wasabi lacked any real heat or pungency, which honestly surprised me the most. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was working the floor entirely on her own and still managed to be attentive and pleasant throughout. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. Overall, the kitchen needs to revisit its seasoning and flavor profiles across the board. With some attention to the basics properly seasoned rice, quality ingredients, and bold condiments, this place could be so much better. For now, it's hard to recommend.

We really enjoyed our…read morevisit to the W Flamingo location last year; this one on Maryland was closer to our hotel for the night. We dropped in for a late dinner at 8PM, driving there directly from Zion National Park after hiking Angel's Landing. It was still surprisingly busy inside and we even had to wait a bit for a table! The waitress first brought over some cucumber lemon water, then took our order. The food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Spicy Beef Noodle, Knife Shaved ($15.97) - Whew that broth. It's like cough city on the first sip, that chili and sichuan peppercorn mixture really gets into the throat. It then transitions into a robustly beefy, salty, and even slightly sweet flavor. It's so beefy it's almost gamey in taste. The heat is actually very balanced, although after sipping on it throughout the meal, I started getting pretty sweaty even with the AC on blast in the building. The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men
