Need to sell parts over the counter. Not everyone needs a technician when you're a technician.

She fit me into schedule quickly. Shane showed up on time and in 15 minutes found the issue. Took an hour to unclog the defrost line, a common problem. Shane was awesome, highly recommended. They are now my "go to" for appliance repair. He even suggested brands and models in case I need to buy new. For now my 25 year old GE is running great. Thank you. Jay P, Highland, MI

Kreitz played that game right to the letter. What's actually occurring is (according to three trusted sources) that your A/C got low on freon, this causes water to condense and freeze. When the freon is fixed, the ice melts, which causes a little rust, and it's all perfectly harmless. He also needed a week to replace my furnace (it was 40 years old). I looked up his business address on Google Maps/Street View (try it). I tried repeatedly for four days to speak to someone about cancelling my appointment but could never get anyone to answer the phone. Worst of all, the old man's son was tagging along, so he's being taught this scheme. If we hadn't had to wait so long, or if he would have just loaned us a small space heater to get us through the cold nights, we might have had Kreitz do the job. Instead, I went to Home Depot to buy a heater. While I was there, a contractor happened to ask me as I was walking by, "Would you like a quote on a furnace?" Instead of a one-man home-based operation, I dealt with a large professional state-wide organization. The whole thing was over in less than 48 hours and on a Saturday. I paid more there. But the fact is I need reliable, long-term support and satisfaction for decades to come, not a lowball price. And a reliable furnace. And they gave me a very nice Nest thermostat.
