I took it back to the other autoshop and they told me I had an internal engine problem and that it would cost me $4,000 to fix it. My engine only had 100,000 miles on it and this other autoshop were offering to replace it with an engine with 96,000 miles...for $4,000. It just didn't make sense; in one month, pay out $5,000 for my car? My sister told me about Clovers Collision. I brought my car here and they told me that the new parts placed for my catalytic converter were aftermarket parts (or something like that), and that their manual said to only use parts from Jeep. Clovers Collision did something ( I can't quite explain it cause I'm not a car aficionado). Bottom line, there was no internal engine problem. They fixed the issue for less than $300! I'm so grateful for this place. The most kind and genuine mechanics I have EVER MET!!! Mike was extremely personable. He took his time and explained everything. This place is a gem! Let's start off by saying you cannot talk to the owner. He's never there and never answers. He only calls you and talks to you when it's convenient for him second off . They didn't honor their pricing. They told me one thing I got charged another. And then add all the icing on the cake. My transmission pan gasket was leaking. It was a s**** show to find my converter upon pick up and upon driving an hour back north I realize that they didn't have my dipstick with the transmission so I had to drive two more hours to get a hold of parts that were mine. I'm a young man and have been working on trucks all my life and this shop experience is why I will continue to do the work myself.
