BEVERAGE : coffee with half/half When you search the definition of a restaurant it is described as "a place where people pay to sit and eat meals that are cooked and served on the premises." The definition for customer service is "the assistance and advice provided by a company to those people who buy or use its products or services."..... 5 hours....5 long hours I traveled to the city of Plattsburgh; to embark on another mission which I completed.....But not only did the 5 hour solo car karaoke fest LINKIN PARK helped me complete this mission.. "MICHIGAN PLUS" gave me the energy (THE FUEL) I needed to successfully complete what NEEDED TO BE DONE on this mission... The minute you walk into this fine restaurant you're immediately greeted with the fresh aroma coming from the grill. The chefs, grill masters channeling their energy creating dish after dish after dish. BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER! This fine establishment serves it all!! Even though they're open 7 days a week from 7am till 3pm. I must say my first time in Plattsburgh, first time at Michigans Plus...being recommended this place by a staff at the nearby Hampton Inn... I knew immediately this fine restaurant never ever "missed a step", "skipped a beat". The staff especially my waitress and the OWNER (whom I met)....SO DAMN PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY! EVERYONE TREATED ME with respect and just overall a great customer service. My food....my MEAL.....HOT DAMN!!! Now I know I had a large plate of breakfast. But I needed to prepare for this battle I was going to be in. This mission is important to me for my life and the level I NEED TO ASCEND TO. My pancakes were fully cooked individually filled with FLAVOR, my eggs were SCRAMBLED....SCRAMBLED(with tomatoes). My sausages and bacon all tasted fresh! Everything was fresh.... Quick side note (if only they had other milk options) but overall!!!!!! Took a while for food to come out on a Sunday, though it isn't their fault it was slammed. This was one of the few places open for the famous local "Michigan hotdog" on a Sunday. Ultimately, though, I find "Michigan sauce" underwhelming: it's just a loose, unseasoned ground beef. ("Hot sauce" in Rochester is a lot better.) We just wanted to get 2 bagels with cream cheese. Getting them here was a mistake. We should've gone to she supermarket to get bagels & cream cheese separately. It would've been quicker, used less plastic & we would've gotten more bagels. Now that we know that less 7 % of plastic has been recycled & it's toxic. We should stop using it to wrap everything. at has been recycled & is especially toxic. While visiting my daughter at SUNY Plattsburgh we opted to try Michigans Plus for breakfast. Sunday morning just before noon the place was packed and we had a short 2 minute wait while the table was cleared. Not being from the area I would rely on the locals choice and Michigan's Plus was a top notch choice. We had Biscuits and Gravy along with awesome home fries and I had Corned beef 2 eggs and home fries. Now I have had my share of breakfasts over my 5 decades on earth but something here was different. The taste was exceptionally delicious and pipping hot. I dunked my toast into the sausage gravy it was that good. Our server Heidi was pleasant and when I said we loved the food she mentioned it's been the same 3 cooks for many years so they produce quality as well as quantity. I love this place. Food isn't mind blowing or anything but it's good an I can always count on them for a filling meal. Staff is very friendly. As someone with celiac disease this is one of the few place in plattsburgh I can count on to have gluten free options. If youre looking for breakfast or lunch I definetly reccomend coming here. read more

So i've tried the steak and eggs twice. the first time it was a tough shoe leathery grizzly mess. so i got it medium rare this last time. still a grizzly mess, but now i could see the disgusting quality of the steak. it was white, no red. still full of grizzle. it has the color and texture of pork. i am a carnivore so i got the steak and egg with nothing else. i'm very comfortable eating all types of meat, but this actually made me feel queasy. they tried to doctor this very thin steak with a ton of salt making it inedible. since i've gone carnivore my smell, taste and hearing have improved making it hard to miss how gross this was. i love plattsburgh and am all about supporting small businesses, but i just can't do this place. read more

Overall it's a decent place, good food and good service for the most part. The prices are good in relationship to the portion sizes.

Absolute price gouging. Their prices skyrocketed during covid and never came back down, when everyone else did. A 5oz bacon cheeseburger, on a tiny grocery store bun, is $10 after taxes. The same price as a 5 guys double burger absolutely loaded with toppings and high quality ingredients. The food is fine, the service is good, but really gross business practices. read more

By the time the food arrived, the eggs could have gotten up and danced a jig, and I still would have given this place a maximum of 2 stars. It took roughly 8 minutes to get seated (or even greeted as a potential customer), around 8 more to get our order, and then about 15 minutes for my coffee and I had to wait for the food to arrive before the waitress checked in to see I was out of coffee. The eggs were good, as was the ham. I asked for no onions on my home fries and got an entire onion's worth of chopped onion on my home fries. Fish and chips were crispy and not soggy at all. first off i've been here a number of times and i do enjoy the food but after the last time i will not be returning. nice establishment nice owner and nice employees as far as i could tell, however last time i went in the waitress was awful. i have a lot of patience and respect for restaurant workers as i am one myself and especially a pregnant waitress but jesus she was super rude (which i understand everyone has tough days) and proceeded to complain about me as i was leaving. downright rude and disrespectful if you don't like your job and you work with people like that you should probably find a new one! nothing but respect for the food and establishment but i will not be returning theirs no reason to have to deal with that when trying to get a meal. read more

Sad to say this once popular and beloved restaurant by many has gone down hill in recent years. The food wasn't as good as it once was but wasn't inedible. My niece ordered a fruit cup alongside her meal and the fruit had sat so long it had fermented. If I could rate 10 stars I would, five stars for the food and five stars for the service. Let me begin by saying I'm a tour bus driver for a celebrity and was driving to Canada when I decided I was gonna stop and get something to eat. Driving by I was enticed by the breakfast sign in the front. Upon walking in I was greeted by an amazing lady that quickly sat me down at a booth. Once getting in the booth my waitress gave me some of the best selections but I chose chicken and waffles. Debbie came out and asked me if I ever had a Michigan dog (which I highly suggest) Debbie brought one out to me as an appetizer and I got to say it was the best hotdog I've ever had my life and I tore around the world so that says a lot! The whole entire staff made my experience one of the best I've ever had eating at a town I've never been to. Big hats off to the owner which is been working there since she was a little girl. I will forever remember this amazing joint while traveling and will speak of this as it was a myth!
