I've been happily using Spokane Spice's sausage and jerky seasonings for about a year. The store is about 90 miles away from us so, on a recent trip to town, I made the effort to stop by. WOW! There's a whole lot of store stuffed into this relatively small space. But there's a HUGE selection of just about every, conceivable spice blend you'd want - from sausage seasonings, to brines, to jerky seasonings, bbq rubs, cures, hot sauces.... There's even a great selection of LEM meat processing equipment. I stocked up with a LOT of mixes I want to try (and refills of supplies I've been using). The two ladies running the store couldn't be any more friendly and helpful. They're well versed with what works well and how to achieve the best results you're wanting to get. They also offer samples of hot sauces. Prices are very reasonable, so there's going to be many more reasons for me to visit more often. read more

What a wonderful local business! I'm not sure her name but the employee we were working with was so sweet and doting on my little son! It was fun trying samples of spices and I definitely will come back with friends and family. Unique flavors, including huckleberry. What a fun place to go! read more

Whether you are a dedicated home meat processor, or just experimenting with a new hobby, we are confident that you will find everything you are looking for at our location. We feature spices, seasonings, sausage seasoning, sausage equipment, jerky supplies, cures, knives, wood chips, casings, and most other items associated with sausage and jerky making and meat processing. We also sell regular herbs and spices, as well as some special blends for everyday cooking. We carry hundreds of items which are customary to the meat industry. We also do grinder plate sharpening and we carry a wide variety of knife sharpening tools.

Established in 1948.

The Michlitch Spokane Spice Company has been in business serving the food industry since 1948. Since that time, our philosophy has been to offer our customers good service and quality products at a reasonable price. We sell seasoning and curing blends for sausage and jerky making. We also sell most of the tools needed to make your own sausage or jerky for instance the casings, tape, and stuffing machines. Our motto is we sell everything but the meat! We also have a great selection of herbs and spices. We make our own specialty blends as well with samples available to try. Everything we make is gluten free with two exceptions (Teriyaki Jerky blend, and Bull Binder).

The gluten free bakery here is AMAZING. They seem to always carry a sandwich bread called good bread. A sandwich sourdough bread. Cinnamon raison, hotdog buns, hamburger buns, and bagels. The bread does not taste gluten free and holds up better than any I have ever found. I bought some cookies for my son and his father who does not usually eat gluten free tried to eat most of them.
