Closest pizza I've had to real Italian pizza since I moved here. Raised near Chicago, so I know good pizza !

I had really high hopes.... It took a almost 2hrs from order to delivery which would be ok for great pizza. This is not good pizza to have delivered. Very thin crust which I would love but for delivery is was soggy and floppy. There is no option when for delivery through DoorDash, to add extra toppings at all either which is unfortunate. The garlic bread with cheese probably was great out of the oven too, but it was cold and the cheese was solidified again. Once reheated it definitely improved, however, the effort was futile to have it be anywhere close to fresh from the oven/dine-in. If trying here again it would only be in person and for dine-in only to ensure that it was the freshest to give a better review. Once I try it out again I'll update my review. read more

We came here on recommendation as a real Italian food delight. They did not disappoint. Having already had pizza the day before, we all ordered pasta and salad and one soup. All were delicious! My daughter said she wants to go back soon. We for sure want to try the pizza. Our sever was very personable and helpful with recommendations. She made the experience very nice. Cozy little pizza shop close to Gonzaga. We called ahead to order so we didn't have a very long wait for our pizza. We love New York Style that isn't too bready, so this was perfect for us. The pizza was massive and the taste was amazing. We'll definitely be back! read more

Our lunch came quickly, and the server was very informative and friendly. We overheard another customer talking to the man in the open kitchen. Turns out he is the owner (the cook) and is from NY. The guys talking to him also is from the same neighborhood in NY and professed this is the best NY style pizza around. This is by far the closest thing you'll find to authentically tasting New York pizza in the Spokane region. Went here after a basketball game with quite a few 9 year old girls. Our group spent well over $300 and the girls were mostly outside. There were no other patrons outside but an older man came and said they all had to leave after spending a bunch of money on their expensive food. DiNardi's Pizza & Pasta is real New York styled pizza right in the middle of Spokane! The owners are from New York so they know a thing or two about pizza. The restaurant looked like a typical New York City pizzeria and their logo and decor had images of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. So I'm not sure how I haven't been to this joint yet. I don't go over to that part of town very often, but after a friend told me I MUST try their pizza, I finally stopped in. Let me start with the service...the young guy at the register welcomed me the moment I walked in; very friendly. Told the two pizza dudes in back it was my first time; they made friendly banter with me for a few, then I got on with my ordering. All I can say, is run, don't walk, to this fabulous pizza establishment. THIS pizza is everything I've searched for in Spokane, and not found. Thin, foldable NY slices, sauce that is fresh and delicious, generous portions of cheese, and just all around DELISH. If I had one minor complaint, it would be that the mushrooms weren't as abundant on the pie as I hoped. The pepp and olives were perfect. Also had some cheese sticks that I probably wouldn't order again; they tasted like the frozen kind, IMO, so that was a bummer. BUT, 5 stars is deserved for the pizza alone. Definitely taking Dinardis off the list. Not for the reason you'd expect because the pizza is actually excellent. We got the meat lovers and aside from it being too light on toppings (as per my previous review), was delicious. It was super busy on a Friday night so the time to order is what one would expect. They REALLY need more than one pizza maker! There was constantly 6-10 tickets on the rail so the pizzas just creeped out if the kitchen. Maybe look at adding oven capacity, too. The reason we're writing this place off is that they're RIPPING OFF their customers!! Their menu give one price but they ring it up more! Our large pizza was on the menu as $26.95, we were charged $28.95. Garlic knots on the menu at $9.95, we were charged $10.95. Drink prices aren't even listed on the menu so we don't even know how much we were overcharged! Instead of fixing it or taking it to the higher level, we were told that's how just how they rang up. Besides, the guy making pizzas was too busy yelling at us that the Sicilian would take over an hour. Definitely filing a complaint for violating the Washington consumer protection act. read more
