What more can I say that hasn't been said before about Boca, the fanciest restaurant in all of…read moreCincinnati, Ohio?? Because it is so exxxxxxpensive, this is not a restaurant you casually dine at. But since it was my sister's Bachelorette weekend, my group of 7 treated the bride-to-be to a luxurious dinner here in May 2026. And she had a wonderful experience! The interior is gorgeous, elegant, and smells amazing. The staff is professional and runs with the efficiency of a Michellen-starred restaurant. I always enjoy watching a staff of 7 deliver the table their food like they are performing a choreographed dance. I ordered the cheapest drink on the menu - a yummy local beer from MadTree for $7. The others had much more expensive cocktails that were $20+. You won't have to worry - while their food menu is small and selective, the drink menu is HUGE. They surprised us with glasses of in honor of my sister's upcoming nuptials. That was a lovely treat! I kept to being a cheap-o and ordered the $18 "Arpege" salad as my main. It didn't have any meat but it had a lot of cheese! Yum! Others ordered more substantial mains like the scallops, the beef tartare, the halibut, etc. All were plated beautifully. I had a bite of the bolognese, and while a small portion, it was superb. You do have to pay for bread service but it is unlimited refills so on $8, the 7 of us went through 6 loaves of bread and 6 trays of delicious salted butter. I personally probably had 2 loaves on my own. My god, it was the best thing I ate the entire trip! After we ate our mains, we then ordered a variety of desserts. Most of us got ice cream (get the strawberry!!). My sister and another girl got the famous "candy bar" dessert and the cheesecake. I had a bite of the candy bar and for $15, it was the most dense candy bar ever! Sooooo much chocolate! I'll end here but with tax and tip, we paid about $630ish. My portion was $51, by far the lowest of the group. I got out relatively cheaply because I filled up on bread but feel free to treat yourself and indulge a bit more!

Everybody, each member of the staff was fantastic. The pomme soufflés are out of this world. They are such a treat. We always love their Hamachi, specially, when they have it with the grapefruit and slivers of jalapeños. Right now they have a truffle Hamachi, which was really fabulous as well. Their foie gras torchon is also exceptional. We cannot wait for them to bring back the cod in buerre Blanc sauce. But last night we opted for the hamburger, which is quite the treat there. If you are a bourbon drinker, you should try their buffalo trace single barrel right now. My husband thought it was more delicious than most other buffalo trace, more of a cherry and vanilla hint. Anyway, we had a perfect night.

I couldn't wait to write this review fast enough. I absolutely love this place -- it's officially…read moremy new Cincinnati go-to spot. I don't get to Cincy very often, but I was in town for work and this happened to be the closest bar/restaurant near us downtown that looked decent. Safe to say I got very lucky. The first time I went, I ordered the chili as a starter and a chicken tender platter. And when I tell you I was so happy with both -- I mean it. I love a good chili. I grew up eating it with my grandma, and this one tasted like something she would have made. The cheese and sour cream were perfect. I'm not a huge onion guy, but even those worked well with it. Now here's the catch... it was so good that I literally went back and ordered the exact same thing again. And somehow it was even better the second time. They really outdid themselves on both dishes. One thing I noticed the second time around: I asked for three sauces right away, and they brought them out on a plate with a built-in sauce area. It was actually really convenient -- perfect if you're sharing with people. Now let's talk about the tenders. I'll start by saying I know fried chicken pretty well. Pound for pound, these might honestly be the best chicken tenders in America. The easiest comparison I can give is this: imagine if Cane's and Zaxby's had a kid and named him perfection. That's what these are. Sometimes Cane's can be a little light on seasoning, and sometimes Zaxby's goes a little heavy. These are perfectly in the middle with a great crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. Another thing I really liked about this place is the versatility of it. It feels like the kind of spot where you could do anything -- happy hour with friends, a birthday dinner, a corporate dinner, or even a family night out. I love that kind of diversity in a restaurant. Just 10/10 ambiance. And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Honestly, writing this review is making me want to book a flight back to Cincinnati just to eat there again. Wow.

It was noisy, but we were able to still have a nice conversation. We got the pretzels with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The pretzel was soft, beer cheesy is gooey and so good, and the spicy mustard packed a nice punch! Will definitely recommend! I got the BRU Burger; medium well cook Taleggio Cheese, Bacon, Tomato Jam, Caramelized Onion, Chopped Lettuce, Mayo I got the tomato jam on the side because I never had it and wasn't sure if I'll like it and asked for no bun. The server was nice to offer more shredded lettuce or leaf of lettuce for my burger. The burger was well seasoned, cooked perfectly yo my liking, and to my surprise the tomato jam was delicious! Only thing is... it doesn't come with any sides, not even fries!! You'll have to add that as a side if you want fries ($2). There are other side options. Service is super good, food is good, place is clean, cocktails made well. Overall, definitely would be back next time I'm here. Sadly, I devoured my deconstructed burger before a photo could be snapped.

This time we were here on a Sunday, with Dewey's being one of the few sit down restaurants in Clifton open on Sunday. We wanted to meet up with friends for dinner before a show at Ludlow Garage. We arrived around 5:15 and the place was pretty empty. By the time we left it had filled up considerably. Dewey's is still as popular as ever. The restaurant was clean and the service was fantastic. Everyone who stopped by was smiling and helpful. Our drinks were regularly refilled. We ordered the Harvest Salad, which was fresh and tasty. I split with Mark, who ordered it with Ranch rather than the balsamic it usually comes with. I enjoyed it. Our friends also ordered the Harvest Salad and ate it all up. For those interested, the Harvest Salad is one of their current specials and is Field Greens, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Figs, Boursin Cheese, Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon, Housemade Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing. For dinner each couple ordered an 11" pizza. We ordered the DON CORLEONE - Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Capicola Ham, Oregano. It was a lot of meat, which I guess is good, but it was filling. The crust was perfect. Even the edges were tasty. I did have a mishap while grabbing a piece. The pizza and the cardboard it was sitting on fell through the pizza holder. We salvaged it gracefully without needing assistance from the staff. While I enjoyed the pizza, I could have done with half as much. Our friends ordered the PORKY FIG - Fig Jam, Mozzarella, Fontina, Prosciutto, Caramelized Red Onions,Gorgonzola and really enjoyed it. Though we didn't watch, I like how the kitchen is behind glass. Pizza prep and baking is on full display. We have a Dewey's close to us. We've never been there, but we may have to check it out sometime in the future.

So when an office I call on ordered from here, I was excited to give them a try. I swung by to pick up their order. The host was friendly and helpful. While I waited, I could peep through the large window to watch them make the pizza. It helped the time go by. The restaurant was clean and open. My pizza was ready quickly so I was off to the office with a stack of huge pizzas. They ordered a variety of pizzas, and I can easily say, I liked them all. I really liked the sweater sauce. Based on this experience, I'd definitely try them again.
