I went to the restaurant on a Saturday night at about 7pm. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers but it wasn't busy by any stretch. I went with my service dog and we were seated right away. I ordered a make my own burger with American and Swiss cheese, bacon and mushrooms with ketchup, mustard and mayo, cooked medium rare. I also ordered a chicken breast to go which I specified was for my dog. I made it very clear (repeatedly) that the chicken needed to be grilled without any seasoning at all. The waitress acknowledged that she understood it was for the dog and needed to be completely plain. Fast forward 20 minutes. The burger came out with everything I ordered and lettuce, tomato and onions on the burger, not on the side. And with all the melted cheese, taking it apart would have just been a mess. And at that point I didn't have time to wait for a remake. So I just asked for the burger to be taken off my bill and left with my chicken. And still tipped the waitress based on the full bill. I literally step outside the restaurant and open up the to go doggie bag. The chicken looked seasoned. I tasted it... spicy. I walked back into the restaurant and ask for the manager. This Gambino family wannabe named Josh comes over. He's friendly at first. Says he saw me in the restaurant a minute before. I explained to him everything that happened and just said that I want the money back for the chicken which I didn't think was a big deal at all seeing as I didn't get what I ordered. Josh even admitted that they marinate the chicken. And apparently "plain with no seasoning at all" means only marinating it ‍. He basically blamed me for leaving the restaurant without checking the to go box that I can't even feed to the dog in the restaurant without violating health code. He literally said to me "how do I know you didn't walk outside and season it?" And that's AFTER admitting that they marinated it. He kept on refusing to give me a refund and threatened to call security when I said "so what you're saying is fuck me" because I used a naughty word. He said that I already paid for it, so there's nothing he could do as if giving a credit on a credit card wasn't a thing. Avoid this place. So many good places to eat on Fremont, don't waste your time here. When you have a chump like this running the place, nothing good will come out of it. read more

I stay at the Plaza monthly. One of the great things about staying at the Plaza is there are great places to eat on Fremont Street within very easy walking distance. Whiskey Licker Up Saloon is one of them. This time I chose the Southwestern salad with added chicken I wanted something light, and this salad fit the bill. It was very good albeit huge. I couldn't finish all of it. As the name implies, it has a very good whiskey selection, although I didn't partake and settled for a tap Michelob Ultra. It's a fun place. Good music is played, and there are lots of TV's for watching sports. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. I chose to sit at the bar. The beguiling bartender whose name I wish I could remember was friendly and provided great service. She is an asset to the place for sure. The prices are quite reasonable, especially for Vegas. Thanks to Yelp, chose Whiskey Licker Up Saloon for a late dinner. This is upstairs in Binion's and offers plenty of seating, including balcony high top views of Fremont Street. We chose the chicken tenders, fries, onion rings and BBQ sliders. All of it delicious and actually more food than two people needed. The BBQ is a rich, smoky flavor. Pro Tip: order half baskets of onion rings or fries for only $5! Plenty of drinks, including beer on tap. I enjoyed the Space Dust IPA. Service was friendly and also lagged. Thankfully we didn't need much but we became antsy waiting to grab our server's attention for our check. It's also VERY LOUD. This restaurant sits next door to one of the band stages - almost on top of it. You will be shouting through your meal - which, it's Fremont Street soooo, but I am not sure I'd want to come with a party larger than 4 because I'm unsure how you'd have a conversation. This was such a cool place located in old Vegas. We sat at the rotating bar so you get some amazing views of the activity on Fremont street while drinking your cocktails! I saw a sign for this restaurant when I was walking on Fremont Street. We had a program for the Neon Museum's Duck Duck Shed event in the Longhorn Room at Binion's. Little did I know, Whiskey Licker Up is on the mezzanine floor across from the Longhorn Room. Whiskey Licker Up was where the "get to know you" event happened after that first program of this year's event. As you walk down a ramp to the restaurant, there is a glass case with some of the Knights outfit that Captain Mark Stone wore along with some hockey paraphernalia. That walkway opens onto a large room that was later closed off for our group. Our reception was there, but a friend and I kept going to the front of the restaurant. Just as we got near the revolving bar, two seats at the counter became free and we sat there. I ordered their classic bacon cheeseburger with pepper bacon, frilled onions, shredded romaine, sliced tomatoes, and Zo's house aioli. It was a very large burger. It's one of those that if you're smart (I wasn't), you'd cut it in half and eat it that way rather than trying to eat holding the whole thing. With it I got cole slaw instead of fries. I asked for it rare and the server pressed rare on her ordering tablet. It wasn't rare for me. That was the only downside of the meal. The service was excellent. Our server was very pleasant, she kept our water glasses filled, and she answered our questions before we ordered with accuracy! While you're waiting and then eating, you can look down and see the things going on one floor below on Fremont Street. It's a cross section of life like you've never seen before. It was our good luck to get two seats at the counter with its windowless view of the action with some of the buskers working their circles on Fremont. I think I'll be back to try something else but also to enjoy the view. For those that want, the round bar slowly revovles--not enough to make you feel woozier than you might be, but it does move. Who doesn't want to check out Fremont Street on their trip to Vegas. We decided to give this place a try. We got seats street side great for people watching. Perfect for us. We ordered two appetizers. The wings and nachos. The wings were very meaty and cooked to perfection with the whiskey BBQ sauce that made them extra delicious. The nachos were probably my #1 ever nachos. The flavor was delicious but what made them over the top was the chips that never got soggy even to the last bite. That is a rare find right there!! We were looking for the perfect drink and my husband asked about a michelada. Our bar tender did a great job. Best we've had 10/10. One day when we return to the area we would definitely go back. Best wings I have ever had. Was looking for a place to eat and just ended up dining here and couldn't be happier that I did. Loved the rotating bar area, but you can also choose the dining area, which is quite big. Great bar food that all looked amazing, but I definitely will return for the wings. We had some of the sliders: I had the meatball sliders (yum!) and she had the hamburger type. Absolutely delish. The sauces were out-of-this-world excellent! The cheddar barbecue chips were a bit heavy on the taste, but passable. We decided to have a cocktail, which was a bit disappointing: a 20-ounce cocktail was about 90% ice and maybe 5-6 ounces of mix and booze. The taste was good, but you'd expect they wouldn't fill the container with crushed ice first then drizzle the cocktail through it. Service was good, friendly, and attentive. My husband and I finally got around to writing this review after stumbling upon Whiskey Licker Up Saloon on December 28th -- and we're so glad we did. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the upstairs view is such a great spot to take in all the action on Fremont Street. Our server, Slav, truly made the experience unforgettable. He recommended a few great drinks, kept an eye on our seats while I stepped out to take a picture on Fremont, and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a wonderful time. 4.5 stars I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is. I went in not expecting much. it was St Patrick's day and was an impromptu stop for dinner. Warning: the portions are huge! It's up there among the best I've had. After a minute of the boys tripping out at how large the mountainous plate was placed in front of them. Those nachos were inhaled in minutes by the boys. I had a few pieces. The pulled pork had great smokey flavor. All the other toppings in the nachos complimented well. Chips were crisp to the end. I didn't encounter any super soggy chips. Masterful construction by whoever platted those nachos. Good job. I got the chicken wings. They let me choose two flavors for my 15 wings. I chose the bbq and garlic parmesan. They were both good. They were fried just right. All the wings I had were moist. As soon as the plate was set down in front of me, I got hit by the buttery garlic smell. Luckily, I love garlic. It is very garlicky. I would advise against ordering this if you're on a date and plan on having close contact after.. 14" Butcher shop pizza. Sooo good. If you love meat, this is your pizza. Rudest Bar manager John on Halloween night! We caught them over charging us for nachos we didn't order or get! This was a nice place till we had John bar manager accusing us of not ordering drinks or food when we just ordered a pizza and drinks less than 45 min prior. Spent $245!! No signs posted that there is any time limit or required minimum. We ordered more food and drink than anyone we seen! We were regulars here not anymore. We just spent over a thousand dollars last weekend as a party of two celebrating my sis in-laws bday here! RUDE establishment not customer service friendly! The rotating bar, bartenders are the worse I have ever experienced in Vegas as a local. Yesterday I took my daughter on a surprise mommy daughter date for the burger, after the COO did a TikTok video about the scratch kitchen burger, fries and pickles. My daughter loves burgers. We get there and was able to get a seat at the rotating bar, we were so excited. We sat down and that's when it all began. The two individuals in my video never said hello, never offered us a cup of water or anything. We had been sitting for almost 15 minutes. A white couple sat down and the female bartender immediately greeted them , took their drink order and began serving them. I initially thought maybe they didn't see us sit down, crazy because we're the only 2 African American guest at the bar. I began to get upset and my daughter said, mom we don't have to stay here. We get up and as you can see in the video, I stood in front of the two because I was going to address them and they wouldn't acknowledge me yet again, while she's holding the drink she made for guest who just arrived and nothing for us. We ask to speak to a manager and not just leave because as a leadership coach, leaders don't always know when things are happening unless you bring it to their attention. The hostess got Amanda the manager who was absolutely awesome. She didn't brush us off, she listened, apologized and offered us to sit with Brandon and Alex at the inside bar and to comp some of our bill. She said I want you to still get the burger you came for. We went to the inside bar and had a great time. The burger was delicious, the pickles were delicious and so were the fries. Will I return ABSOLUTELY NOT. Service is important to me and ROTATING BAR MINUS ZERO, however, Amanda, Brandon, Alex, the young man who clears your tables and the hostess at the front I give 5 stars. To the two bartenders at the rotating bar, DO BETTER. The male bartender came over to the inside bar and sent drinks on him to another table. He made sure to stand beside me make it a public service announcement. All I will say is "cameras don't lie" and no one can ever make you feel less than without your permission. After finally being able to get a seat at the rotating bar, we had a disgusting and very racist experience, matter of fact, it is our very first racist Vegas experience with THESE 2 BARTENDERS on the photo below.. They DID NOT serve us as BLACK customers and ONLY served their WHITE patrons. We sat there for 13-15 minutes and were treated like complete GHOST! What made us get up was after waiting 13 minutes, a white couple had sat down and was served RIGHT AWAY. (She's holding the drink she made freshly for the couple that just sat down, 13 MINUTES AFTER US! Everyone else got a greeting, a drink, a conversation... we were the ONLY black customers at the bar and the ONLY customers being ignored soooo I can't deny the facts! We even got up and stood in front of them to be acknowledged, STILL IGNORED US. I told my mom, let's leave because I was getting heated and we chose NOT to be treated in that racist and low vibrational way. We are valuable, respectful and we don't tolerate being treated like this & besides this is Las Vegas baby, if you don't want the black dollar, you need to do something else! We proceeded to the manager, Amanda, who is absolutely amazing and listened to what we had to say... she offered us a seat at the other bar, where we were served IMMEDIATELY, waters, food, drinks and greeted with a smile and conversation from our bartenders. THEN, the racist bartender from the rotating bar (after the manager called them out) comes over, stands next to my mom, being loud so she hears him and sends the couple at the bar, free drinks on him LIKE SIR I PROMISE YOU, this is not what you want and you will get that energy back.... Just Immature and unnecessary. At the end we had a good time because we addressed it and the manager Amanda addressed while we're there so I know it wasn't swept under the rug. We appreciate Amanda sooo much but keeping employing racist and select service bartenders IS NOT OKAY AND NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH! The right person will make a scene, we just aren't those people but that's a dangerous game they are playing at that bar. Acting foolish. Overall, the burger was good, it was fresh but lacked seasoning and pretty dry... the drinks were good and the only reason I won't be back is that energy that we were greeted with, Amanda and the two bartenders at the front end bar made up for our negative experience and for that we are grateful, that doesn't mean that these two pictured below should get a pass because IT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! read more

They have an outdoor bar that faces the stage, as well as an upstairs indoor restaurant which is where we went to get out of the heat.
