Well the days of a good price here is over. The prices have went up up up up over the last 3yrs. We use to eat here at least 2-3 times when in Vegas. Now we don't go their at all. Bfst used to be $9.00-15.00. Now it's is more like $16-25 for a regular old Bfst. Not the bargain it ones was !

The service at Magnoila's Veranda is outstanding. From the seating hostess to the bussers, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. (Mom was in a wheelchair.) Not a large restaurant, but lots of tables, never had to wait to be sat. Located on the mezzanine off the casino floor, directly across Fremont Hotel & Casino in the Four Queen's Hotel & Casino, there are stairs up to the restaurant and an elevator that stops either Hugo's Cellar or Magnolia's. The food has not disappointed us yet. Suffering the effects of vertigo, I had difficulty eating. Nauseousness set in. The most non threatening solid food I attempted was mashed potatoes & gravy. An excellent choice! The potatoes are freshly mashed and well seasoned while the gravy complimented and brought it all together. Not salty in the least! A+++ Mom loves biscuits and gravy (and spam musubi) and only gets it when we are in Vegas. The buscuit & gravy at Magnoia's is outstanding! The best I've ever had. The biscuit is large and oh so soft. Usually sausage gravy is on the saltier side, from all that I've had, but not here. Absolutely delightful! Creamy and thick and very flavorful. I only went in for a taste, and expressed my enjoyment that pleased my mom as she was worried for me feeling unwell, she insisted I finish it. I did, after she had had her fill. A+++ Mom loves fried shrimp and though frozen and fried, it did the job. It was prepared perfectly and we both enjoyed the fluffy coated shellfish. Extra tartar/cocktail sauce please! A+++ We will always come to Magnolia's Veranda as long as we can still travel to Las Vegas! Thanks Magnoila's! You rock!

Prime rib was melt in your mouth and gumbo was fire! Stout was good too. Excellent service from the nice waiters. A must visit at Fremont

We stayed at the hotel so this was a quick easy option for us for brunch before heading to the airport. The weight was very little and the food came out pretty quickly. It was a very good brunch before leaving the steak was very tasty. My eggs were cooked just how I liked, and there was enough butter on my toast. The coffee was really good as well. I wouldn't be mad if I had to stay here again and have brunch here again the menu seem to have a good variety. Definitely recommend.

We had a table of 8 and were easily accommodated. The servers worked together to keep our drinks full. This is an old school affordable traditional dining supper club type place. It's clean and quick. The iced tea is fresh, the portions are huge and the menu has a great selection. They didn't charge us an auto tip for the larger party, which was nice. It's tucked away in the 4 Queens but this restaurant is a respite from the casino and Fremont. Pop in for a proper meal.

Was in need of a lite breakfast snack and was going to go to my hotel's venue until a couple in the elevator recommended Magnolia's which is in the Four Queens across from my hotel/casino The atmospheric vibe was great and my server, Winston was terrific. I ordered the New York strip with Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns, Sour Dough toast, and a Bloody Mary, for digestive purposes

Avocado Melt sandwich selected with turkey & side of coleslaw.

Ordered the Avocado Melt with sliced turkey for a flavorful and filling lunch. The melt wowed me with the layers of deli-thin slices of turkey, large creamy slices of avocado, crispy slices of bacon and melted provolone cheese between two thick slices of grilled sourdough bread. Service by the staff was attentive. Jerry who took our order checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. The restaurant was not busy at 2 PM on a Tuesday afternoon Feb. 10th. As other diners mentioned, Magnolia Veranda is a classic style old diner. The noise is only from the casino machines as the restaurant is inside the Four Queens a few steps above the casino main floor. If you have a 4Queens/Binion's players Club 55 card show it to the cashier for a discount on the bill.

Went here for their prime rib special as I haven't had one yet in Vegas and wanted a place with good value. One thing of note right when you enter, the servers will not seat you until everybody arrives. Since I had a couple friends in my party that had trouble finding parking, we had to let a large party go ahead of us despite me arriving first. Understood since it was consistently busy when I was there. I asked for medium rare for my prime rib special and it was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes with gravy on the side was huge, and the corn on the cob was also buttered well. Service was hit and miss, we had to wave someone down to take our order and we never had our water refilled without having to ask. Overall this place was good, and honestly for about $25 their prime rib special is not a bad deal at all.

The last time I ate at Magnolia's was for breakfast probably 6 years ago or so and I remember liking it. The restaurant is inside Four Queens and is located on the floor above Hugo's Cellar. I stopped by for a late dinner at 11PM this past weekend and I had a really delicious pork chop dinner for $20. The pork chop was bone-in, charbroiled perfectly, and served with a side of corn and choice of potato (I got a baked one). The meal also came with soup or salad. I got the salad with ranch dressing and it was a simple, good salad. I realize that it was late and maybe I was starving, but everything I ate was so good. The servers were so nice and it was a really good experience for me. They're open til 2AM which is a plus. I'll be back soon!

Stopped here on a whim to get some dinner. Didn't know anything about the place but it was close and available. The service was nice and the place had an older dining room vibe. I had spaghetti and meatballs which had god flavor and plenty of meat accompanied by garlic bread. A generous portion I might add. My buddy got the ribeye with side of mashed potatoes and gravy. He said it was cooked as ordered and good flavor. The price was reasonable as well. I would come back again.

    Onion rings

Excellent service, big portions, good price. We had the open face hot beef with mashed potatoes and the prime rib dip with onion rings. All amazing taste, and we couldn't finish all the food. A classic diner style restaurant with many food options. We will be back again!!!!

Had the Windy City Chicago style deep dish. I was CRAVING it for a long time. I started with the Caesar salad and it was a hearty size salad! It was good. Then I waited for my pizza and it didn't disappoint! So good and hearty, it hit the spot! Our server and bus guy were fast and efficient! The ambiance reminded me of old Vegas! Nice and clean spot!

Service was good. Clearly team work between server and bus person. They place itself needs a good clean. Prices are high, as they are everywhere. Portions justify the price. My sandwich was good. A little bland but good. Taco salad was good.

Anyway, last Friday after the Sphere my friends and I ordered sliders, nachos, wings, chicken tenders, and mozzarella cheese sticks for a very late night meal which also turned out to be happy hour which was a very nice surprise. All of this for $56 by the way. The cajun pasta I ordered last year was $40 ALONE and it was sooooo incredibly MID. Sure, it was only this price because we happened to pop in during happy hour, but still. I would gladly order a variety of different things I can pick at versus one mediocre dish. The wings, chicken tenders, and mozzarella cheese sticks were tasty. I'm not a chicken tender guy, but wow, these were actually really good! The sliders were fine. A bit dry, but other than that, definitely a solid "good." Service was excellent and same fun ambiance/experience as last time. The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.

For two people, our bill came to $420, which set very high expectations. To make matters more disappointing, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, even though we were only a party of two. I didn't notice anything indicating that beforehand. Based on our experience, I felt the service was closer to 15% than 20%. The biggest issue was that almost every dish was overly salty. Oxtail Hummus - Probably our favorite dish. The hummus itself was flavorful and wasn't overly salty, but the naan was just okay. I was hoping for more texture with crispy edges. Bánh Cuốn - I appreciated the creativity of the dish, but the rice roll was surprisingly hard and chewy in the center when bánh cuốn should be soft throughout. The sauce was also very salty. Wood Fired Lumina Lamb - The lamb itself was good, but the nước chấm was extremely salty. Spanish Octopus - The octopus was cooked well, but again, it was overly salty. Snapper Tostada - Good, but nothing particularly memorable or unique flavor-wise. Rabbit Dan Dan Paccheri - I loved the perfectly al dente pasta, but the sausage was far too salty. Coal Roasted Dry-Aged Dorade - The crispy skin was excellent, but overall the dish didn't wow me. Oysters - The raw oysters had interesting flavors but leaned salty. The grilled oyster was my favorite of the oyster selections. The staff was genuinely friendly, and I appreciated that they were attentive about clearing and replacing our plates throughout the meal. However, the pacing of the meal really slowed down halfway through. We were there for almost two hours, and our dessert took at least 20 minutes to arrive. In fact, our check was brought to the table before our dessert, which felt odd. Las Vegas has an incredible dining scene with so many amazing restaurants. For a meal that cost $420 for two people, I expected something memorable. Instead, most of the dishes were overwhelmingly salty, the pacing was slow, and the overall experience simply didn't justify the price. I really wanted to love this place but I left feeling disappointed.

I also loved the karaoke app, which notifies you when your turn is coming up. That's such a thoughtful touch and takes so much anxiety out of the experience. Karaoke kicked off at 10pm and the energy in the room was infectious once it got going. The drinks were good -- well-made and enjoyable -- though on the pricier side for what you'd expect at a casual karaoke vegas bar. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing going in. Now for the constructive feedback, shared in the spirit of hoping this venue reaches its full potential: The table reservation situation was genuinely confusing and a bit stressful. I had made what I believed to be a table reservation ahead of time, but when we arrived, the host at the door informed us that table reservations aren't actually accepted. I showed her my reservation confirmation, and unfortunately she was dismissive about it rather than empathetic or helpful. For a group arriving excited for the night, that interaction set a frustrating tone. A little kindness and acknowledgment -- even just "I'm so sorry for the confusion, let me help you find a spot" -- would have gone a long way. Because we couldn't be seated at the tables until 10pm, we were left waiting at the bar, which was extremely crowded with other guests in the same situation. Getting a drink was a real challenge with so many people packed in waiting for seating to open up. It felt like a bit of a bottleneck that could easily be improved with clearer communication upfront about the table policy -- or better yet, actually offering reservations. We also weren't able to order food at the Front Yard, which was a surprise. We ended up heading over to the Village Pub to eat, which worked out fine, but it would be so much more convenient to be able to grab a bite without leaving the venue. Despite all of that, my friends and I left smiling. The DJ truly carried the night, and the outdoor space is something Ellis Island should be proud of. With a few operational tweaks -- clearer reservation policies, a friendlier front-of-house experience, and maybe some food options -- the Front Yard could easily be one of the best karaoke spots in Las Vegas. We'd come back and give it another shot! :)
