To get things started I sent in some photos of my head as requested. Then I went in for the consultation where Trinh gave me a mock up of how the SMP would look using a hair like powder. Just creating the mockup required expert skill and experience. I was also shown an anti-shine cream to make the SMP much more realistic. For SMP, it's very important to be able to communicate openly on both ends. I felt very comfortable discussing my needs and concerns. Trinh answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns in great detail. I was given a few options for my situation and what to expect throughout the procedure. I'm totally satisfied with the outcome and only pictures can show how well it came out. This is an update to my original review. Since now I've had the second and third session. On the second session, the artist was able to see what pigmentations remained from the first session and what other areas needed coverage. The patron can see things coming together after each session. Before you begin a session, you should be a person that has patience because the sessions are long hours, and you should abide by the pre-and post instructions given by the artist. There are no guarantees on any type of procedure, so keep that in mind. If you have certain medical issues, or have skin issues that keloid up when cut then you may not be eligible for this type of service. Every session spent gets better and better until you reach your goal. In my perspective, patience is virtue and I am very pleased with the outcome. I feel more vibrant even though I still have the same amount of thinning hair, but the visual looks like I have a lot more , so that makes me happy and that's what is important. Everyone has worked hard for their money and you can't take the money with you, so enjoy your life and do what you have to do to make you happy. My father in law is suffering from hair loss and my wife and I did some research on YouTube regarding SMP and happened to stumble across a video from Micro Hair Studio. I called Microhair Studio and spoke to a woman named Trinh. She explained the process of SMP and she answered the questions I had. During the call Trinh invited me and my F-I-L to come in for a free consult. Our consult was on Saturday 10/21. She met my FIL and provided an analysis of his hair loss situation and she provided a SMP treatment plan for him. Also Trinh had finished up with a customer that day and we were able to see first hand the results of the treatment. I must say I was impressed! I couldn't tell where the real hair ended and the treated area began. Even my FIL was impressed by the results. At that point we told Trinh that we would go home and think about. Really there was not much to think about because on Monday I made an appointment on behalf of my FIL. Part of the reason why we went with Microhair Studio is because of the thoroughness of Trinh's explanation of SMP, her professionalism, plus we got to see first hand of her work and actually spoke to her client on that day we visited. There's only so much you can get from seeing photos and videos but to see the results live, is beneficial! The first treatment lasted about 4 hours (half of the head) and my FIL was able to take a break as needed. His next appointment is this weekend and it'll be another 4 hours. During the treatment my FIL felt comfortable and relaxed as he was able to watch movies on the tablet to pass the time. I was apprehensive about doing SMP so I booked consultations with 3 different artists. I spoke with Trinh over the phone about the appointment. I just finished my final session with Microhair and I'm just ecstatic with the results, it looks so natural and it's exceeded my expectations. Trinh does amazing work and has a very professional, honest and pleasant attitude! I had a long scar on the back of head from two hair transplant procedures completed years ago. I like to keep the sides and back of my hair shorter so the scar was always visible and although it always bothered me I didn't realize I could do anything about it. After researching, I picked Trinh's studio because the before/after pictures looked great. She responded right away to my texts and phone calls and addressed all my concerns. I scheduled my first appointment and although I was a little nervous because I knew this would be permanent, she put my mind at ease, was very honest about the procedure and her studio is extremely hygienic and clean. The first procedure was simply to camouflage the scar but afterwards it already made a huge difference and was even unrecognizable by strangers who didn't know I had one. She explained the aftercare and had written instructions to ensure the best healing and results. After the second session, when Trinh started matching the color of my hair, I was completely amazed by the results! It already looked like the scar was gone when my hair was cut at its shortest length. She really took her time during this procedure and it was obvious she had great attention to detail. The results of the second session were so incredible that I am holding off the third session for a few months for touch ups. I tried this anti-shine cream Trinh had and I have to say it works pretty well. I have very oily skin and it took the shine off my head -- applied it makes the head have this matte finish, no glare and the cream smells good as well, not mediciney. I left it on and went into the office, 8 hrs later my head still glare free, pretty much lasted all day. Now, if you sweat I noticed the other day that a white film will appear. My guess is its the cream diluted coming off but I let it air dry natural and then tried re-spreading it on the scalp and still looked great so I would say one caveat is you can't get the scalp wet or it washes off makes sense since the cream is I don't think oil based. You definitely cannot swim with it on or else it'll completely come off. If you have oily skin or not but want to take that sheen off your head, ask to try the new anti-shine cream from Trinh. I think its well worth it. read more

Ever since I heard about smp it spark a interest in me to do more research about it. I wanted to find a place around my area. I found Trinh's studio fairly close to me, after reading her bio I decided to set up a consultation. The consultation with Trinh basically sold me. She was very thorough with what to expect and answer any concerns I have. She started to draw lines where my hair line was suppose to be and even spray on some fake hair follicles to show me what I would look like with hair which I haven't seen for over 15 years. I even got a chance to see a client that she was finishing up. I end up setting up for an appointment with her right there and then. Now after 3 sessions I am very happy with the end result.
