I was not expecting the ritz, it was somewhere to lay my head for literally 5 hours before continuing on with road trip . The shower didn't drain properly so my feet were submerged in back up my entire shower , and the bed felt like it was purchased the same year as hotel , extremely uncomfortable, I would have seriously been better off sleeping in my car without a shower. Again I did not expect luxurious by any means , I expected mediocre at best , but I felt dirtier when I left than when I walked in.For the $115 dollars I paid for the night I expected clean at minimum, and it was just not decent at all, highly don't recommend even for a few hours

Priceline was closer to $80 so that's the route we went for booking. We walk in and the lady at reception Stacey is on the phone, we wait a few minutes and she finally hangs up. No welcome, no how are you doing, not even a smile and I'll be with you in a minute! She taps away at her computer for another minute or two before rudely asking what she can do for us. I tell her we just made reservations on Priceline and she tells me that we can't check into the room for another half hour. Now we're nowhere near the early check in time it's at least 7 p.m. at night, I show my receipt from Priceline and she said she doesn't care she can't give us a key to our room until it shows up on her system that takes up to 1/2 hour. We Go outside to wait, at this time I get aggravated and call the toll free customer service number. We finally get into our room, I do a lot of traveling and this is by far the worst I have ever been treated when checking into a hotel. Microtel needs to look at their employee Stacy at their Wellsville location she needs training or she needs to be put into a different line of work with no customer interaction! The room was OK nothing special and very small. The breakfast was good and more then I expected in the morning.

Absolutely beautiful property, many amenities for guests to enjoy and the two corgis running around was a lovely bonus if you ask my 8 year old daughter. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch of the farmhouse and playing board games while we waited for dusk. Breakfast was delicious - plenty of options to meet every palate. Lots of cute goodies in the gift shop as well. Price was very reasonable, especially for the service provided. We would love to stay again one day!

It is the most peaceful place and we loved staying there. There is a shared living room, kitchen, and wrap around porch. We spent hours on the porch as we don't have any outdoor space at our home in the city. We met sooo many nice people who were staying there and we all hung out on the porch together each day. We arrived on a Sunday night and learned from other guests that no places are open for dining on Sundays, so we went to the local food store and bought steaks and other side dishes and cooked out on the gas grill area. Like everyone is saying in their reviews, the breakfast is spectacular. We also bought a ton of homemade jam, salsa, and honey in the gift shop. It was quite reasonably priced. In terms of exercising, I didn't really feel safe biking or running from the bnb as the roads have no shoulder and the large trucks speed down the road, but my bf biked from there every day. I walked the steep hilly dirt road across the street and drove to safer places to run/bike. Everything is a pretty far drive away, but I think that is normal life for this part of the state and we just enjoyed the scenery of country life on our drives. I def would stay here again next time if I come back to this area.

Her situational awareness and attention to detail are spot on. Her positive and upbeat attitude instills that back into the establishment and the people around her. If you are in the area and don't take the time to visit here, you missed out on a fine experience!

We were lucky to find accommodation for the night. The lobby was stunning with deep woods, a large fireplace, comfy furniture. My son loved the accents like an old mailbox and a princess-style rotary lobby phone. Our room was a decent size. I was impressed with the height of the door--it must have had a transom window at some point in time. The bathroom was super cute with clean white tiles, a spacious shower, and a relic from another time--a hole in the wall for used razor blades. My grandmother's bathroom used to have one of those, but my son has never seen one and was fascinated. The vintage features really make it interesting to stay in places like the Wells Hotel. They have an elevator, but we opted to use the stairs as they were also beautiful in red carpeting and lined with rich woods. Breakfast was included and served in an equally beautiful space. The staff was so friendly, the food was great and the location was wonderful for walking around town.
