We stayed for a month. First 3 weeks were great minus the trash not getting picked up weekly. Mark…read morekept the grass cut well esp having to fix it when it broke once. Pete leveled the roads and got rid of the mud spots! The campground was pretty full and the number of bags going in, matches the volume of people there. I contacted the owner and he blamed it on someone in the apt there. The recycling was never picked up or dropped off for the entire month. Fast forward to last week. Police came in several times when the owner returned. It was apparent after seeing him with Mike's hard drink in hand in the morning, that's the problem. This guy drives the tractor then and smashes a bunch of things including a picnic bench. I was scared he was going to hit my RV when he drove it. Then he starts trying to fix the road himself (it was fine when he came back). He starts dumping dirt all over it. Pete fixes it again after that. Oh yeah the dog park, they didn't put in a swing gate so the dog park is way overgrown and they can't get a mower in. Who wants to take their dog into a tick park? Then comes Friday and we see him go outside in the morning during the daylight and take a poop outside in public (bathrooms are across the street from him). Fast forward to when we are trying to leave and he's pouring mud all over the roads. Thankfully he didn't cover the one side and we were able to get out. The campground owner needs rehab, 100%. I don't feel he's a bad guy, just stuck in a drunken stupor. This is a quiet, no-frills campground. We never had any issues with the water electric or any hook ups. We definitely did not drink the water there as we never drink campground water anyway. Sites are pretty level. It rained heavy a few times and our site stayed pretty dry. As long as the owner is not present, things are ran and look great.

Rates are competitive. The grounds and facilities are meticulously maintained. Shower rooms are very clean. We leave our travel trailer here and come several times a month for a few days. That is one way to cope with the fuel crunch and not have your RV/TT sit in your driveway unused. I would recommend Misty Mountains without reservation.

It seems to be Evergreen is best known for seasonal camping (you fancy-pants camper campers types,…read morewith your built on decks with outdoor carpets made to look like well maintained grass), but I'm going to tell you my experience as a cabin renter camper type. Bottom line... IT WAS AWESOME. Elaboration time... We got one of the newer, fully equipped cabins, which came with A/C, running water and flaunted a private full bathroom. The cabin sleeps 6 (we put more people in there but, shhhh!), and was more than accommodating for say, hypothetically speaking, 6 adults and 6 kids with some blow up mattress support (the cabin limit set by the campground is 6). The cabin rate was $200 a day. The cabins have a private room with one queen bed (I think... I sleep on a king bed normally because I'm an American), a loft room with a double (Again, American, and I really have no idea, as I typically have enough room in my giant bed at home to lounge, eat a smorgasbord, practice calligraphy and also sleep), and a set of bunk beds in the common area. The one bad mark I'll award --and this is a mighty stretch-- is that the playground area, which wasn't great to begin with, was conveniently closed due to COVID, but was in shambles anyways. The playground should be upgraded ASAP. (NOTE: Neither Yelp, Inc. nor Jim B. condones in any way, shape or form, the circumventing or breaking of any rule, such as cabin maximum capacity, regardless of how arbitrary a rule may be, and it is the expressed position of Jim B. that every person should respect the order set by the establishment, blindly, and at every cost, no matter what.)

Clear my mind, beautiful clear night, stars and moon lighting up the ski. Trails that go forever,…read moreputting life back into the best perspective leaving out all the ones that try and take everything you have earned and loved and thought would be behind anything life throws at you and when you throw back, only the real ones stick it out by your side. Let everything and everyone go and settle for things that don't last. Love Life, Let the Haters Hate. Meet people half way and expect the same in return. I'm not giving up my respect and honor anymore. Happy Thanksgiving all.

If I could leave a zero review I would. While the campground is decent, the owner is aggressive and…read morepossibly racist. He doesn't have good people skills and should not be working in the hospitality business. He came to our campsite at midnight and was yelling at us and threatening us. The rest of the weekend he made sure to tell us exactly how much time we had left to do every single activity. Swimming in the morning: you have 15 minutes left, hanging out in the lodge: you have 5 minutes left. Not in a polite way, in a 'I need to be in control of every aspect of all things' kind of way. There was supposed to be a fishing derby at 1130, we got there at 1135 and it had been canceled already, because no one showed up. There's nothing special about this place and with such an over-bearing presence throughout the weekend, it was just not enjoyable. DO NOT recommend.

Beautiful campground, clean restrooms, kids enjoyed the swings & tetherball at the playground…read more Staff was very friendly & helpful, they even pumped air into our bike tires with their air compressor! Outdoor pool was clean & the kids loved the game room. We stayed in the Coneflower cabin. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable & there was plenty of storage & counter space. Nice table inside but we ate our meals outside at the picnic table behind the cabin. There was a fire pit back there too. Two things that kept this from being 5 stars were the temperature of the loft sleeping area & price of firewood. While the air conditioning on the first floor of the cabiwas very comfortable, the loft was really hot. So hot in fact that on the second night of our stay, we all slept together on the two full sized beds downstairs. It would be best if there was a second air conditioner upstairs or at least a ceiling fan. The firewood was $11/bundle. I would recommend buying from locals who were selling bundles of wood for $5 each Overall had a nice time & would stay here again
