This revealed that, although the cataracts in my eyes did not reduce my daytime imaging sufficiently to warrant surgery, they produced enough scattering to make driving nearly impossible. Following cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, performed by another doctor, both my night and day vision were essentially perfect and driving was again a safe activity. [Note: I had the IOL selected to provide in-focus distance vision, so that reading glasses are still required for close-up work. This is, unless one is satisfied with the additional scattering encountered with multi-focus IOL's, a normal and expected outcome.]

Dr. George performed surgery and now the glaucoma is under control. He is a warm and caring person who will spend as much time with you as you require. The down side of this is that you could have some wait time, because as I said, if you have something that be taken care of during your appointment, he will do it then if feasible. But the wait is worth it. I would not have it any other way.
