He never pushed procedures that he didn't think were absolutely needed. In fact, he would suggest to not do quick fix procedures/immediate work which I appreciate. I have since moved to another state but I still only come back to Temkin when I'm in NYC for all my dental work.

I don't know if they're that hard up for money but the times that I "called to cancel an appointment" she got so much in an uproar that I couldn't believe I was talking to a business establishment! I had previously confirmed my appointment but then due to the poor weather conditions I called them that morning and canceled. I did not expect to get an earful of INSULTS from my dental office about canceling an appointment for a cleaning. YES INSULTS! I said to myself this supervisor won't last long with her attitude she'll be fired in the next couple of months! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to attend this office with how they have treated myself and my husband. To my surprise TERRIBLE TARA was still a figure in the office and this what started out as a call from a receptionist Venessa to let me know my insurance rejected my last visit for cleaning I told her I would call back once I spoke to my health insurance she called me back in less than an hour asking me that I called them yet I explained to her that I'm home dealing with twins in fifth grade doing distance-learning during COVID 19 and she still seem to be very pushy on the phone with me. I told her to at least give me 24 hours she actually HUNG UP on me after I told her how rude she was being so I called back and asked to speak to a manager and it was Tara. She as experience once before I started to get into a back-and-forth with me the customer I even let her know that I have never witnessed an office actually arguing back-and-forth with a customer that she is on the clock and should be way more professional than she is presenting herself to be. She actually even started to say that my family has been a burden on "them". I don't care if we have been the worst customers in America which we were not in the least bit way every time I come to this office my hygienist and I laugh joke and talk about our family. She has witnessed me get married. I have witnessed her have children! It's such a shame, painful and sorrowful that now I am going to need to look for a new dental office after five years but it just seems as though when this new supervisor came about that everything changed. I know she's going to try to combat this review with some thing that I hope I don't have to sue them for because HIPPA is real!!!! Furthermore if I was a white woman and my husband was a white male we would not have been treated like this in the least bit. Racism is also real and I don't know what else can explain the way that this office has treated me and my husband two paying consistent patients of over five years.

I had left a message and Dr Citriniti called me back . I was not able to go during the week so Dr Citriniti said he would come in on a saturday for me. I went to his office and we started with x rays. Dr. Citriniti explained everything to me in detail what was wrong and how we can fix the problem. We then proceeded with fixing my issue. I have never been to a dentist that really cared about the issue I was having. When he put the needle in my mouth I did not even feel it. Every other dentist would just shove the needle in your gums. I was there for a good hour and a half. He fixed my problem and believe me I had to have a lot of work done. I give Dr. Citriniti 5 stars. I needed a root canal and needed the tooth to be whole again. His dental assistant was just as awesome. I left the office so happy. Dr Citriniti will be doing all my work. My dentist for life . There were no other patients there, yet it was clear they were rushing. I was told I needed three fillings, so I made an appointment to come back to get them. When I came for my second appointment to get the fillings, I was told that I actually might need a root canal and that my insurance wasn't going to cover it. I was urged by the receptionist to make the decision right then and there, and when I told her I wasn't going to be making the decision that day and that I needed a second opinion, she became extremely rude and told me the decision needed to be made quickly. I decided I would get the two fillings that same day and get a second opinion on the possible root canal. When Dr. Michaels injected the novocaine, he accidentally injected it into an artery. While waiting for it to kick in, I became extremely shaky and dizzy and felt as though I couldn't breathe. They tried to tell me I was just nervous for the procedure, but when I explained that I've never been nervous about a dental procedure before, they became defensive and even more rude and nasty. I left without getting the fillings and decided to go to a very reputable dentist for his opinion. I ended up only needing one filling and no root canals.
